The rapid growth of the education industry and private education groups has brought the high-quality development of listed private education companies into focus for both the educational sector and the capital market....The rapid growth of the education industry and private education groups has brought the high-quality development of listed private education companies into focus for both the educational sector and the capital market.This study employs the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method to explore pathways to high-quality development for these companies.Necessity analysis confirms that no single factor guarantees a company’s success,highlighting the importance of multi-factor interactions.Three main paths to high-quality development are identified:human resource optimization,precise market positioning,and comprehensive advantage.Conversely,four development paths for non-high-level companies are identified:dual insufficiency in resources and market,high turnover and over-investment,scale expansion with resource mismatch,and inadequate human resource development.The findings indicate that optimal allocation of educational resources,precise market positioning,rational resource allocation,and staff training are crucial for achieving high-quality development.Robustness tests,which raise the consistency threshold,verify the reliability and stability of the results.These findings provide a reference for policymakers,investors,and managers in the education industry.展开更多

China is transitioning its industrial structure from labor-and resource-intensive industries that previously contributed significantly to the country’s GDP growth to technology-intensive industries emphasizing a high...China is transitioning its industrial structure from labor-and resource-intensive industries that previously contributed significantly to the country’s GDP growth to technology-intensive industries emphasizing a highly-skilled workforce and sustainability to achieve high-quality economic growth.This paper examines the impact of the RMB exchange rate on high-quality economic growth through theoretical modeling and empirical analysis and discusses the variable of overseas education to explore the mechanism of how the RMB exchange rate and overseas education jointly impact high-quality economic growth.The research sample includes the National Bureau of Statistics data on education from 1995 to 2015,the Bank for International Settlements(BIS)data on the RMB exchange rate,and the added value of China’s high-quality economic growth estimated based on the national economy data.An empirical analysis of theoretical expectations was conducted,finding that RMB appreciation could make a positive contribution to China’s high-quality economic growth;RMB exchange rate fluctuations would impact the relative cost of overseas education and overseas returnees could have a positive impact on domestic resource utilization efficiency and domestic capacity to make sci-tech innovations,thereby injecting vitality to high-quality economic growth.This study focuses on both the RMB exchange rate and the population studying abroad,providing additional observation dimensions to existing research.展开更多

A study w...Environmental education (EE) is a vital dimension of modern day acumen that portends a great promise in solving the myriad environmental resource management challenges at global, regional and local levels. A study was carried out in 18 locations in the Nandi North, Nandi South and Nandi Hills districts of Kenya, which cover the Nandi Hills and Nandi Forests in Nandi County, major water catchments for Lake Victoria. A mixed methodological approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data obtained from focus group discussions, key informant interviews, household survey and observations was embraced in data collection and analysis. The study reveals that there are several strategies that have been adopted by the local population and institutions involved in the management of the Nandi Hills Forests (NHFs) and that these strategies have contributed to an improvement in the perceptions of the local population in terms of the importance of environmental management of the forests. This paper highlights EE as a vehicle for ensur- ing a sustainable management of the Nandi Hills Forests. As such, it illuminates the great potential that lies in sustainably managing the NHFs by integrating formal and informal EE approaches. The analysis was carried out...We intend to establish how species diversity is dealt with, within the study of the ecosystem, in books for the 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education, ESO (15-16 year-old students). The analysis was carried out using a key issues dossier based on school science, which not only provides a description of reality, but also introduces a theoretical explanatory framework. Regarding species diversity, we focused on the descriptive approach, considering the link between diversity and trophic relationships, ecological succession and ecosystem stability through change, consequences for biodiversity of human activities and mechanisms to face such consequences; and on the explanatory perspective, which provides an interpretative answer for all the aspects previously mentioned. The findings drawn from textbooks show that biodiversity is linked both to the study of the ecosystem and to the impact of human societies on its maintenance. However, such study is particularly focused on the descriptive, rather than on the explanatory level. So, teachers should improve the study of biodiversity foresting a balance between descriptive and explanatory level.展开更多

文摘Under the background of the two-way empowerment of artificial intelligence(AI)and education development,this paper first sorts out the demands for high-quality development of education in China in the new era from the perspectives of educational equity,talent cultivation,and contradiction resolution.Then,it focuses on the vision of AI empowering the high-quality development of education,and points out that AI is spawning new patterns and characteristics from the aspects of students’learning,teachers’development,school construction,home-school cooperation,educational governance,educational evaluation,educational equity,etc.,which has provided important driving force for the high-quality development of education.Finally,the paper proposes the paths of AI empowering high-quality development of education from the aspects of top-level design,educational reform,construction of intelligent education environment,improvement of intelligence education literacy,cultivation of innovative talent,construction of high-quality education resources,response to ethical risks,etc.,to clarify the future direction for the deep integration and development of AI and education.

文摘During the current transformative development of postgraduate education,empowering the high-quality development of postgraduate education with digital technology is a critical,popular,and difficult challenge.It is also an inevitable trend for its future transformative development.This paper employs the technology,organization,and environment(TOE)framework to examine the logic reasoning of digital technology empowering the high-quality development of postgraduate education by technology,organization,and environment.Its key features include a shift in postgraduate education organization from“bounded”to“unbounded,”a move from uniform curriculum standards to personalized customization of teaching,a transition from following the industry to leading it in discipline construction,and a change in governance from a“vertical”to“grid”approach.With the empowerment of digital technology,it is essential to build a consensus on digital philosophy,train digital talent,implement digital governance,and innovate digital evaluation for the high-quality development of postgraduate education.
文摘Under the background of rapid development of“digital China,”digital economy,and information technology,how to promote digital transformation in education is an important issue in education.Basic education is in urgent need of guidance for the paths to digital transformation.The paper analyzes the main connotation of digital transformation in education,classifies and summarizes the effects and problems of the exploration and practice of the national information-based teaching experimental areas.On this basis,the paper brings forth the path of digital transformation with continuous iteration as the core concept:Basic education organizations should make clear of the objectives of education development,choose and determine specific paths and measures in terms of the construction of the institutional system and digital capabilities according to their own realities,and promote their implementation.After the implementation for a period,these organizations should,according to the objectives of their work,research and judge the effectiveness of the paths,promptly adjust the paths and measures,and continuously promote their implementation.Through continuous iteration and optimization,basic education organizations will effectively accelerate the process of digital transformation in education and incessantly march toward the objectives of educational work.Finally,the paper,through a case study of the administrative departments of basic education,proposes specific suggestions for stepping up high-quality development of basic education.
