The key to its control and reduction lies on dynamic monitoring and early warning. The article points out the insufficiency of traditional measuring means applied for large-scale landslide monitoring and proposes the method for extensive landslide displacement field monitoring using high- resolution remote images. Matching of cognominal points is realized by using the invariant features of SIFT algorithm in image translation, rotation, zooming, and affine transformation, and through recognition and comparison of characteristics of high-resolution images in different landsliding periods. Following that, landslide displacement vector field can be made known by measuring the distances and directions between cognominal points. As evidenced by field application of the method for landslide monitoring at West Open Mine in Fushun city of China, the method has the attraction of being able to make areal measurement through satellite observation and capable of obtaining at the same time the information of large- area intensive displacement field, for facilitating automatic delimitation of extent of landslide displacement vector field and sliding mass. This can serve as a basis for making analysis of laws governing occurrence of landslide and adoption of countermeasures.展开更多

The structure and morphology of the nanostructures are characterized by x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analyses. The mechanism for the growth of zinc oxide nanostructures over the biotemplate is proposed. SEM and TEM observations also reveal the formation of spherical zinc oxide nanoparticles over the interwoven fibrous network. Multiple sized pores having pore diameter ranging from 10- 4Ohm is also evidenced from the pore size distribution plot. The larger surface area and porous nature of the material lead to high sensitivity (40.93% for 300 ppm of ethanol), quick response (42s) and recovery (40 s) towards ethanol at 30014. The porous nature of the interwoven fibre-like network affords mass transportation of ethanol vapor, which results in faster surface accessibility, and hence it acts as a potential candidate for ethanol sensing at room temperature.展开更多

Pure ZnO thick films were surface modified with MnO2 by dipping them into 0.01 M aqueous solution of manganese chloride (MnCl2) for different intervals of time and fired at 500℃ for 12 h. The grains of MnO2 would disperse around the grains of ZnO base material. The MnO2 modified ZnO films dipped for 30 min were observed to be sensitive and highly selective to NH3 gas at room temperature. An exceptional sensitivity was found to low concentration (50 ppm) of NH3 gas at room temperature and no cross sensitivity was observed even to high concentrations of other hazardous and polluting gases. The effects of surface microstructure and MnO2 concentrations on the sensitivity, selectivity, response and recovery of the sensor in the presence of NH3and other gases were studied and discussed. The better performance could be attributed to an optimum number of surface misfits in terms of MnO2 on the ZnO films.展开更多

The organic-inorganic PANI/ZnO hybrids with different mass fractions of PANI were obtained by mechanically mixing the prepared PANI and ZnO. The gas sensing properties of PANI/ZnO hybrids to different volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including methanol, ethanol and acetone were investigated at a low operating temperature of 90°C. Compared with the pure PANI and ZnO, the PANI/ZnO hybrids presented much higher response to VOCs. Meanwhile, the PANI/ZnO hybrid exhibited a good reversibility and a short response-recovery time, implying its potential application for gas sensors. The sensing mechanism was suggested to be related to the existence of p-n heterojunctions in the PANI/ZnO hybrids.展开更多

The Er-Yb:NaYF4 nanoparticles are adsorbed on the petals(the position of the strongest local electric field on W(18)O(49) nanoflowers). With a 976 nm laser diode(LD) as an excitation source, the selectively green upconversion luminescence(UCL) is observed to be enhanced by two orders of magnitude in Er-Yb: NaYF4/W(18)O(49) nanoflowers heterostructures. It suggests that the near infrared(NIR)-excited localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR) of W(18)O(49) is primarily responsible for the enhanced UCL, which could be partly reabsorbed by the W(18)O(49), thus leading to the selective enhancement of green UCL for the Er-Yb: NaYF4. The fluorescence intensity ratio is investigated as a function of temperature based on the intense green UCL, which indicates that Er-Yb: NaYF4/W(18)O(49) nanoflower heterostructures have good potential for developing into temperature sensors.展开更多

This is a fully distributed sensing method based on the simulated annealing evolutionary (SAE) algorithm. Several modifications are made to improve the algorithm efficiency, including choosing the most superior chromosome, setting up the boundary of every gene according to the density of resonance peaks of the reflection spectrum, and dynamically modifying the boundary with the algorithm running. Numerical simulation results show that both the convergence rate and the fluctuation are significantly improved. A high spat-ial temperature resolution of 0.25 mm has been achieved at the time cost of 86 s.展开更多

The relation between spatial analysis of the land surface temperature and existing land use/land cover changes is important to evaluate the climate processes. Monitoring of this relation in the arid and semi-arid regions is necessary to make an appropriate decision about Land surface temperature and environmental status. In this paper, generally the split-window algorithm is used to estimate LST from thermal bands of the Landsat Operational Land Imager (OLI) and the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) using remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques as well as meteorological data through Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS). The results show the relationships between land use types and land surface temperature. MODIS data were analyzed. The relationship between MODIS and Landsat data temperature is moderate relation and the (R2 = 0.5109) according on 200 random points were selected. This research concludes that the maximum temperatures of the land use types in MODIS and Landsat data for the rock formation are 59°and 45°respectively, whereas the maximum temperatures of the geological formation in MODIS and Landsat data for the basalt are 59°and 45°respectively. In conclusion, the MODIS and Landsat OLI and TIRS Data have high ability to distinguish the land use types. The correlation coefficient of the relation between the surface temperature with rock was (R2 = 0.6197). Therefore, it is found that there is an ability to monitor the spatial and temporal changes for land surface temperature and thus it can be useful to environmental studies.展开更多

High-resolution temperature sensing has specifically demonstrated its capacity to characterize very low flows in wellbores. But as sharp as they can be, temperature profiles are often difficult to decipher. The aim of the present work is to provide and to test the “Borehole Heat Budget Calculator” (BHB Calculator), which is implemented as a fast and easy to use tool for the quantitative analysis of depth-temperature profiles. The Calculator is suitable for most pumping and draining configurations, as the heat budget is generalized for modelling multidirectional flow systems within the same wellbore. The formatted worksheet allows the quick exploitation of temperature logs, and is applicable for the characterization of distributed fractures in long screened wellbores. Objectives of the heat modelling are to enhance the readability of complex depth-temperature data, as well as to quantify distribution of inflow intensities and temperatures with depth. The use of heat budget helps to clearly visualize how heat conduction and heat advection contributions are distributed along wellbores profiles. Calculations of inflow temperatures and their evolution through pumping duration is a prerequisite to infer about the nature of aquifer properties (i.e. conduits, distributed or discrete fractures, porous media), as well as to give insight information about the mapping of effective flow paths draining the aquifer. The efficiency and limitations of the BHB Calculator are being tested through high-resolution temperature logging, along with complementary flowmetering and televiewing logging in fractured aquifers located in the St-Lawrence Lowlands, Quebec, Canada.展开更多

The larger surface area and porous nature of the material lead to high sensitivity (40.93% for 300 ppm of ethanol), quick response (42s) and recovery (40 s) towards ethanol at 30014. The porous nature of the interwoven fibre-like network affords mass transportation of ethanol vapor, which results in faster surface accessibility, and hence it acts as a potential candidate for ethanol sensing at room temperature.

文摘It is proposed a high resolution remote sensing image segmentation method which combines static minimum spanning tree(MST)tessellation considering shape information and the RHMRF-FCM algorithm. It solves the problems in the traditional pixel-based HMRF-FCM algorithm in which poor noise resistance and low precision segmentation in a complex boundary exist.By using the MST model and shape information, the object boundary and geometrical noise can be expressed and reduced respectively.Firstly, the static MST tessellation is employed for dividing the image domain into some sub-regions corresponding to the components of homogeneous regions needed to be segmented.Secondly, based on the tessellation results, the RHMRF model is built, and regulation terms considering the KL information and the information entropy are introduced into the FCM objective function. Finally, the partial differential method and Lagrange function are employed to calculate the parameters of the fuzzy objective function for obtaining the global optimal segmentation results. To verify the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, the experiments are carried out with WorldView-3(WV-3)high resolution image. The results from proposed method with different parameters and comparing methods(multi-resolution method and watershed segmentation method in eCognition software)are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.
文摘Pure ZnO thick film, prepared by screen-printing technique, was almost insensitive to NH3. The better performance could be attributed to an optimum number of surface misfits in terms of MnO2 on the ZnO films.

文摘Polyaniline (PANI) was prepared by the chemical oxidative polymerization of aniline, and ZnO, with the mean particle size of 28 nm, was synthesized by a non-aqueous solvent method. The sensing mechanism was suggested to be related to the existence of p-n heterojunctions in the PANI/ZnO hybrids.

文摘The embedded temperature sensing fabric was designed and woven according to the heat transmission model of the fabric. The temperature sensors were embedded into the multi-layered fabric that weft yarns were high-shrinkage polyester filaments. And the fabric was treated by a self-designed partial heat device, which can make the sensor be fixed in the fabric. The effects of yarn type, yarn linear density, fabric warp density, fabric structure, fabric layer numbers where the sensor is located, and the ambient temperature on the temperature measured value were investigated. The results demonstrated that when the higher thermal conductivity of yarns and lower density yarns were applied in the fabric as rawmaterials, they were favored to improve the measurement precision.Meanwhile, there were many factors that could make the measured values closer to the real value of the body, such as the plain fabric, the increased warp density of the fabric, the multiple-layer fabric where the sensor was located, the raised ambient testing temperature and the prolonged test time in the certain range.

文摘The W(18)O(49) nanoflowers with a diameter of 500 nm are prepared by a facile hydrothermal method. The fluorescence intensity ratio is investigated as a function of temperature based on the intense green UCL, which indicates that Er-Yb: NaYF4/W(18)O(49) nanoflower heterostructures have good potential for developing into temperature sensors.

文摘In this paper, we present a simple and fast spectra inversion method to reconstruct the temperature distribution along single fiber Bragg grating (FBC) temperature sensor. A high spat-ial temperature resolution of 0.25 mm has been achieved at the time cost of 86 s.

文摘The components of urban surface cover are diversified, and component temperature has greater physical significance and application values in the studies on urban thermal environment.Although the multi-angle retrieval algorithm of component temperature has been matured gradually, its application in the studies on urban thermal environment is restricted due to the difficulty in acquiring urban-scale multi-angle thermal infrared data. Therefore, based on the existing multi-source multi-band remote sensing data, access to appropriate urban-scale component temperature is an urgent issue to be solved in current studies on urban thermal infrared remote sensing. Then,a retrieval algorithm of urban component temperature by multi-source multi-band remote sensing data on the basis of MODIS and Landsat TM images was proposed with expectations achieved in this work, which was finally validated by the experiment on urban images of Changsha,China. The results show that:1) Mean temperatures of impervious surface components and vegetation components are the maximum and minimum, respectively, which are in accordance with the distribution laws of actual surface temperature; 2) High-accuracy retrieval results are obtained in vegetation component temperature. Moreover, through a contrast between retrieval results and measured data,it is found that the retrieval temperature of impervious surface component has the maximum deviation from measured temperature and its deviation is greater than 1 ℃,while the deviation in vegetation component temperature is relatively low at 0.5 ℃.
文摘Land Surface Temperature (LST) is one of the important indicators to understand the spatial changes and surface processes on the earth surface that leads to actual assessment of environmental quality from local to global scales. Therefore, it is found that there is an ability to monitor the spatial and temporal changes for land surface temperature and thus it can be useful to environmental studies.
文摘Distributed temperature sensing is known to provide sharp signals which are very efficient for mapping hydraulically active fractures in wellbores. The efficiency and limitations of the BHB Calculator are being tested through high-resolution temperature logging, along with complementary flowmetering and televiewing logging in fractured aquifers located in the St-Lawrence Lowlands, Quebec, Canada.

文摘Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3O12 (BNdT) films were deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si(100) substrates by a metal organic decomposition (MOD)method, and annealed by a rapid thermal annealing process in oxygen atmosphere and in air, respectively. The crystalline structuresand morphologies of BNdT films were characterized by X-ray diffraction and field-emission scanning electron microscopy, and thegas sensing properties were measured by monitoring its resistance at different gas concentrations. The results indicate that the BNdTfilms annealed in air are of porous microstructure and rough surface, and the annealing atmosphere has great influence on gas sensingproperties. At an operating temperature of 100 °C, the BNdT films annealed in air are of high response value to 1×10?6 gaseousethanol, and the detecting limit is as low as 0.1×10?6. The corresponding response and recovery time is about 10 and 6 s, respectively. The results can offer useful guidelines for fabricating high performance ethanol sensors.

文摘The transmission equation of microdisk resonator is obtained by the transfer matrix method. The physical model is built and the electric field distribution, output spectrum and phase of the microdisk resonator are simulated by three-dimensional finite element software. The influence of the structural parameters on transmission characteristics and the temperature sensing property of the microdisk resonator are studied deeply. The results show that the output spectrum will change significantly with the distance between the microdisk and the straight waveguide within a certain range but there is no apparent change in the phase of the output port. The extinction ratio and maxima sensitivity of the device will reach 30 dB and 45 pm/℃,respectively.Microdisk has higher integration, higher quality factor and wider free spectral range compared with common microring resonator.
文摘In the industrial field, long running of the equipment easily leads local temperature of the equipment to rise. This is a security risk. For this problem, we have designed a set of remote wireless temperature monitoring system. Based on ZigBee technology, we have a remote wireless networking temperature monitoring of a lot of equipment scattered in various locations of factories and enterprises. The system uses infrared temperature sensor TS118-3 gathering temperature information. After a signal conditioning circuit, we use a wireless RF single-chip CC2530 wirelessly transmitting the temperature of the measured target to the receiving node. The receiving node uploads the data to a computer by RS232.PC software displays real-time temperature information.
