It is found that the Al-Sc targets demonstrate more excellent ability to resist high-speed impact. It is concluded that different microstructures of Al-Sc and Al-Ti alloys, including different grain sizes and secondary particles precipitated in the matrix, result in their greatly different capabilities of resisting impact. Furthermore, the effect of the size range ofnanoscale A13Sc precipitate in A1-Sc alloy on the resistance of high-speed impact was investigated. In addition, computer simulations and validation of these simulations were developed which fairly accurately represented residual crater shapes/geometries. Validated computer simulations allowed representative extrapolations of impact craters well beyond the laboratory where melt and solidification occurred at the crater wall, especially for hypervelocity impact (〉5 km/s).展开更多

The model can simulate the cage motion under oil lubrication with all six degrees of freedom. Particularly, the model introduces oil-film damping and hysteresis damping, and deals with the collision contact as imperfect elastic contact. In addition, the effects of inner ring rotational speed, the ratio of pocket clearance to guiding clearance and applied load on the cage stability are investigated by simulating the cage motion with the model. The pantographs were fixed on the front or the rear end of the first middle car or fixed on the front or the rear end of the last middle car. The external flow fields of the high-speed trains were numeri- cally simulated using the software STAR-CCM+. The results show that the pantograph fixing position has little effect on the aerodynamic drag force of the head car and has a large effect on the aerodynamic drag force of the tail car. The influences of the pantograph fixing position on the aerodynamic lift forces of the head car, tail car and pan- tographs are obvious. Among the eight cases, considering the total aerodynamic drag force of the train and the aerodynamic lift force of the lifted pantograph, when the pantographs are fixed on the rear end of the last middle car and the lifted pantograph is in the knuckle-upstream ori- entation, the aerodynamic performance of the high-speed train is the best.展开更多

However, the random of the measured data is not considered. In this paper, a new method was established to compute the equivalent stress amplitude to evaluate the fatigue damage based on the measurable randomness, since the equivalent stress is the key parameter for assessment of structure fatigue life and load derivation. The equivalent stress amplitude of a high-speed train welded bogie frame was found to obey normal distribution under uniform operation route that verified by on-track dynamic stress data, and the proposed model is, in effect, an improved version of the mathematical model used to calculate the equivalent stress amplitude. The data of a long-term, on-track dynamic stress test program was analyzed to find that the normal distribution parameters of equivalent stress amplitude values differ across different operation route. Thus, the fatigue damage of the high-speed train welded bogie frame can be evaluated by the proposed method if the running schedule of the train is known a priori. The results also showed that the equivalent stress amplitude of the region connected to the power system is more random than in other regions of the bogie frame.展开更多

In this paper, we studied the long-term fertilizer experiment(started 1980) to assess the soil P dynamic, balance, critical P value and the crop yield response in Taihu Lake region, China. To avoid the effect of nitrogen(N) and potassium(K), only the following treatments were chosen for subsequent discussion, including: C0(control treatment without any fertilizer or organic manure), CNK treatment(mineral N and K only), CNPK(balanced fertilization with mineral N, P and K), MNK(integrated organic manure and mineral N and K), and MNPK(organic manure plus balanced fertilization). The results revealed that the response of wheat yield was more sensitive than rice, and no significant differences of crop yield had been detected among MNK, CNPK and MNPK until 2013. Dynamic and balance of soil total P(TP) and Olsen-P showed soil TP pool was enlarged significantly over consistent fertilization. However, the diminishing marginal utility of soil Olsen-P was also found, indicating that high-level P application in the present condition could not increase soil Olsen-P contents anymore. Linear-linear and Mitscherlich models were used to estimate the critical value of Olsen-P for crops. The average critical P value for rice and wheat was 3.40 and 4.08 mg kg^(–1), respectively. The smaller critical P value than in uplands indicated a stronger ability of P supply for crops in this paddy soil. We concluded that no more mineral P should be applied in rice-wheat system in Taihu Lake region if soil Olsen-P is higher than the critical P value. The agricultural technique and management referring to activate the plant-available P pool are also considerable, such as integrated use of low-P organic manure with mineral N and K.展开更多

文摘Welded Turnout on Large-span Bridge(WTLB)is a complex multi-layer heterogeneous system and can significantly influence the service performance of High-Speed Railway(HSR).Understanding the coupling dynamic response of the vehicle and WTLB is essential.Previous research did not consider the dynamic behavior of foundations, leading to an underestimation of the vehicle-turnout-foundation coupling dynamic response, particularly when turnouts were laid on large-span bridges. This study proposes a novel modeling method that includes the foundations,to overcome the previous shortcomings by applying a rigid-flexible coupling system. In this approach, the vehicle was modeled as a rigid body sub-model in a Multi-Body Software(MBS),while WTLB was modeled as a flexible bodies sub-model using Finite Element(FE)software. The modal information from the FE model was imported into the MBS software. The two sub-models were coupled by the wheel-rail contact in the MBS environment and then the Vehicle-turnout-bridge Rigid-flexible Coupling Dynamic(VRCD)calculation model was established and it was discovered that the calculation results showed good agreement with the field test data.Through the VRCD model, the safety of the structure, the stability of the vehicle and the comfort of passengers were investigated,as well as several important infrastructure factors. The results demonstrate that this novel method provides accurate calculations and highlights the complex and significant interactions in the vehicle-turnout-bridge system.
文摘A measurement system for the scattering characteristics of warhead fragments based on high-speed imaging systems offers advantages such as simple deployment, flexible maneuverability, and high spatiotemporal resolution, enabling the acquisition of full-process data of the fragment scattering process. However, mismatches between camera frame rates and target velocities can lead to long motion blur tails of high-speed fragment targets, resulting in low signal-to-noise ratios and rendering conventional detection algorithms ineffective in dynamic strong interference testing environments. In this study,we propose a detection framework centered on dynamic strong interference disturbance signal separation and suppression. We introduce a mixture Gaussian model constrained under a joint spatialtemporal-transform domain Dirichlet process, combined with total variation regularization to achieve disturbance signal suppression.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed disturbance suppression method can be integrated with certain conventional motion target detection tasks, enabling adaptation to real-world data to a certain extent. Moreover,we provide a specific implementation of this process, which achieves a detection rate close to 100%with an approximate 0%false alarm rate in multiple sets of real target field test data. This research effectively advances the development of the field of damage parameter testing.

文摘Al-Sc and Al-Ti semi-infinite targets were impacted by high-speed projectiles at velocities of 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 km/s, respectively. Validated computer simulations allowed representative extrapolations of impact craters well beyond the laboratory where melt and solidification occurred at the crater wall, especially for hypervelocity impact (〉5 km/s).

文摘The running safety of high-speed trains has become a major concern of the current railway research with the rapid development of high-speed railways around the world. The basic safety requirement is to prevent the derailment. The root causes of the dynamic derailment of highspeed trains operating in severe environments are not easy to identify using the field tests or laboratory experiments.Numerical simulation using an advanced train–track interaction model is a highly efficient and low-cost approach to investigate the dynamic derailment behavior and mechanism of high-speed trains. This paper presents a three-dimensional dynamic model of a high-speed train coupled with a ballast track for dynamic derailment analysis. The model considers a train composed of multiple vehicles and the nonlinear inter-vehicle connections. The ballast track model consists of rails, fastenings, sleepers, ballasts, and roadbed, which are modeled by Euler beams, nonlinear spring-damper elements, equivalent ballast bodies, and continuous viscoelastic elements,in which the modal superposition method was used to reduce the order of the partial differential equations of Euler beams. The commonly used derailment safety assessment criteria around the world are embedded in the simulation model. The train–track model was then used to investigate the dynamic derailment responses of a high-speed train passing over a buckled track,in which the derailmentmechanism and train running posture during the dynamic derailment process were analyzed in detail. The effects of train and track modelling on dynamic derailment analysis were also discussed. The numerical results indicate that the train and track modelling options have a significant effect on the dynamic derailment analysis. The inter-vehicle impacts and the track flexibility and nonlinearity should be considered in the dynamic derailment simulations.

文摘To investigate the cage stability of high-speed oil-lubricated angular contact ball bearings, a dynamic model of cages is developed on the basis of Gupta’s and Meeks’ work. The results can provide a theoretical basis for the design of ball bearing parameters.

文摘The dynamic resource allocation problem in high-speed railway downlink orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) systems with multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) antennas is investigated.Sub-carriers,antennas,time slots, and power are jointly considered. The problem of multi-dimensional resource allocation is formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem. The effect of the moving speed on Doppler shift is analyzed to calculate the inter-carrier interference power. The optimization objective is to maximize the system throughput under the constraint of a total transmitted power that is no greater than a certain threshold. In order to reduce the computational complexity,a suboptimal solution to the optimization problem is obtained by a two-step method.First,sub-carriers,antennas,and time slots are assigned to users under the assumption of equal power allocation.Next, the power allocation problem is solved according to the result of the first-step resource allocation.Simulation results show that the proposed multi-dimensional resource allocation strategy has a significant performance improvement in terms of system throughput compared with the existing one.

文摘To study the influence of the pantograph fixing position on aerodynamic characteristics of high-speed trains, the aerodynamic models of high-speed trains with eight cars were established based on the theory of com- putational fluid dynamics, and eight cases with pantographs fixed on different positions and in different operational orientations were considered. Among the eight cases, considering the total aerodynamic drag force of the train and the aerodynamic lift force of the lifted pantograph, when the pantographs are fixed on the rear end of the last middle car and the lifted pantograph is in the knuckle-upstream ori- entation, the aerodynamic performance of the high-speed train is the best.

文摘The basic structure of epicyclical gear transmission with inner teeth ofsingle-ring, double-ring, three-ring and four-ring reducer are analyzed. The force analysis model ofring reducer is built. Following this, it is concluded that the present ring reducer~ have theproblem that the inertia force or the inertia moment is lopsided. On the base of analysis andcalculation the balanced ring reducer which can realize the balance of inertia force and inertiamoment is brought forward, and so is its concrete realizing step. The specimen of the balanced ringreducer is designed and manufactured; the experiment is carried out on the gear transmission testbench. Compared with other ring reducer of the same power, the balanced ring reducer has manyadvantages, such as low vibration noise, low cost and less production difficulty and less heat. Itis the substitute of other ring reducer of the same kind. Therefore, it has important theoreticsignificance and highly practical engineering value.

文摘The current method of estimating the fatigue life of railway structures is to calculating the equivalent stress amplitude based on the measured stress data. The results also showed that the equivalent stress amplitude of the region connected to the power system is more random than in other regions of the bogie frame.

文摘Piled embankments, which offer many advantages, are increasingly popular in construction of high-speed railways in China.Although the performance of piled embankment under static loading is well-known,the behavior under the dynamic train load of a high-speed railway is not yet understood. In light of this,a heavily instrumented piled embankment model was set up,and a model test was carried out,in which a servo-hydraulic actuator outputting M-shaped waves was adopted to simulate the process of a running train.Earth pressure, settlement, strain in the geogrid and pile and excess pore water pressure were measured. The results show that the soil arching height under the dynamic train load of a high-speed railway is shorter than under static loading. The growth trend for accumulated settlement slowed down after long-term vibration although there was still a tendency for it to increase.Accumulated geogrid strain has an increasing tendency after long-term vibration. The closer the embankment edge, the greater the geogrid strain over the subsoil.Strains in the pile were smaller under dynamic train loads, and their distribution was different from that under static loading. At the same elevation, excess pore water pressure under the track slab was greater than that under the embankment shoulder.

文摘Phosphorus(P) is an important macronutrient for plant but can also cause potential environmental risk. The agricultural technique and management referring to activate the plant-available P pool are also considerable, such as integrated use of low-P organic manure with mineral N and K.
文摘In this study,we focused on a novel parallel mechanism for utilizing the motion simulator of a high-speed boat(HSB).First,we expressed the real behavior of the HSB based on a seakeeping trial. For this purpose,we recorded the motion parameters of the HSB by gyroscope and accelerometer sensors, while using a special data acquisition technique.Additionally,a Chebychev highpass filter was applied as a noise filter to the accelerometer sensor. Then,a novel 3 degrees of freedom(DoF)parallel mechanism(1T2R)with prismatic actuators is proposed and analyses were performed on its inverse kinematics, velocity, and acceleration. Finally, the inverse dynamic analysis is presented by the principle of virtual work, and the validation of the analytical equations was compared by the ADAMS simulation software package.Additionally, according to the recorded experimental data of the HSB,the feasibility of the proposed novel parallel mechanism motion simulator of the HSB,as well as the necessity of using of the washout filters, was explored.
