We demonstrate a novel picosecond optical parametric preamplification to generate high-stability, high-energy and high-contrast seed pulses. The 5ps seed pulse is amplified from 60pJ to 300μJ with an 8.6ps/ 3mJ pump laser in a signal stage of short pulse non-collinear optical parametric chirped pulse amplification. The total gain is more than 106 and the rms energy stability is under 1.35%. The contrast ratio is higher than 10s within a scale of 20ps before the main pulse. Consequently, the improvement factor of the signal contrast is approximately equal to the gain 106 outside the pump window. 展开更多

An isolated SNM model for high-stability multi-port register file in 65 nm CMOS 被引量:1

In modern microprocessors, the multi-port register file is one of the key modules which provides fast and multiple data access for instructions. As the number of access ports in register files increases, stability becomes a key issue due to the voltage fluctuation on bit lines. We propose to apply an isolated inverter to address the voltage fluctuation. To assess the register stability, we derive a closed-form expression of static noise margin (SNM) for our register file. The proposed SNM model can be used as a guideline to predict the impact of several register parameters on the stability and optimize register file designs. To validate the proposed SNM model, we fabricated a test chip of two-write-four-read (2W4R) 1024 bits register file in a TSMC 65 nm low-power CMOS technology. The experimental result shows that the stability of our register file cells with an isolated inverter improve the conventional cells by approximately 2.4 times. Also, the supply voltage causes a fluctuation of SNM of about 65%, while temperature and transistor mismatch cause a fluctuation of SNM of about 20%. 展开更多

Due to the high theoretical capacity and electrode potential,Prussian blue is regarded as promising cathode material for potassium ion batteries.However,inferior structural stability,poor electronic conductivity,ambiguous energy storage mechanism have limited the application of Prussian blue materials.Herein,a highly stable Prussian blue-polypyrrole(PB-PPY)composite has been prepared by a facile one-step method.PB-PPY displays higher discharging capacity,better rate capacity,and longer cycling lifespan than that of pure Prussian blue in potassium ion batteries.The superior electrochemical performance can be attributed to the unique synthesis strategy to reduce the content of vacancies and crystal water in Prussian blue and enhance the conductivity.Furthermore,partial K ions have been evidenced that could remain in the Prussian blue framework,which contributes the long-term cycling stability.The K ions in the framework play the role of“pillars”to support the framework of Prussian blue and relieve the structural stress during the intercalation and de-intercalation of K ions.This work will reveal a new energy storage mechanism of Prussian blue and promote the design of high stability Prussian blue in the future. 展开更多
