X-ray diffraction (XRD), a scanning electronic microscopy ( SEM ), a physical properties measurement system (PPMS-9), and a vector network analyzer were used to analyze their structure, surface morphology, magnetic and absorbing properties, respectively. The results show that the absorbing band of the composite absorbing material is widened and the absorbing strength is increased compared with the pure M-type barium ferrite. The sample with the content of doped graphene oxide of 3% has the minimum reflectivity at 10 to 18 GHz frequencies. The electromagnetic absorbing behaviors of ferrite/polymer coatings fabricated by dispersing Mn–Zn ferrite into epoxy resin (EP) are studied. The microstructure and morphology are characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. Complex permittivity, complex permeability, and reflection loss of ferrite/EP composite coating are investigated in a low frequency range. It is found that the prepared ferrite particles are traditional cubic spinel ferrite particles with an average size of 200 nm. The results reveal that the electromagnetic microwave absorbing properties are significantly influenced by the weight ratio of ferrite to polymer. The composites with a weight ratio of ferrite/polymer being 3:20 have a maximum reflection loss of –16 dB and wide absorbing band. Thus, the Mn–Zn ferrite is the potential candidate in electromagnetic absorbing application in the low frequency range (10 MHz–1 GHz).展开更多

For reconstruction of parameters which belongs to the inverse scattering problem, the test data in requirement of traditional impedance method are "just enough" and not "redundant" to comprehensively evaluate the electromagnetic properties of materials. High titanium slag containing more than 90% TiO2 was prepared by carbothermal reduction of ilmenite. The temperature rise curve of high titanium slag in microwave heating process was obtained. Crystalline compounds of high titanium slag before and after microwave irradiation were obtained and characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD). Effects of particle size of high titanium slag anal mixtures of high titanium slag with different mass fractions of V2o5 on microwave absorbing properties were investigated systematically. The results show that high titanium slag has good microwave absorption property; untreated high titanium slag mainly consists of crystalline compounds of anatase and iron titanium oxide, while the microwave-irradiation treated one is mainly composed of crystalline compounds of rutile and irgn titanium oxide. Synthetic anatase is transformed completely into rutile at about 1 050 ℃ for 20 min under microwave irradiation. High frequency shift and low amplitude of voltage make high titanium slag an ideal microwave absorbent. 180 μm of particle size and 10% mass fraction of V2O5 are found to be the optimum conditions for microwave absorption.展开更多

The minimum refleetivity at the absorbing peak frequency of RE,FeuCr3(RE=Ce, Pr, Tb, Er) are -9.49 dB at 5.76 GHz, -22.38 dB at 7.92 GHz, -18.52 dB at 11.68 GHz and -17.59 dB at 10.24 GHz, respectively. The absorbing bandwidth under -10 dB of the Pr13FesaCr3 powder was widened from 1.91 GI-Iz to 3.89 GHz by adding 2% Ti, but the reflectivity of the alloy was increased from -22.38 dB to -14.91 riB.

文摘Magnesium-substituted Mn0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 ferrite is synthesized by the sol–gel combustion method using citrate acid as the complex agent. Thus, the Mn–Zn ferrite is the potential candidate in electromagnetic absorbing application in the low frequency range (10 MHz–1 GHz).
文摘The electromagnetic parameters of microwave absorbing materials are important criteria when appraising the properties of absorbents. For reconstruction of parameters which belongs to the inverse scattering problem, the test data in requirement of traditional impedance method are "just enough" and not "redundant" to comprehensively evaluate the electromagnetic properties of materials. A novel optimization approach involving multiple impedance measurements is introduced in this paper to implement automatic measurement for electromagnetic parameters on microwave slot-line. Some results for standard samples and microwave absorbing materials are given.
文摘The experiment samples of La1-xSrxMn1-y FeyO3(x = 0. 15, 0.20, 0.23; y = 0. 10, 0. 12, 0.14, 0.16) were prepared by sol-gel process, and the loss tangent and absorption coefficient in the range of 2 - 18 GHz were measured by HP8722 net analyzing apparatus. It is found that changing the content of Sr or Fe would effect the microwave absorbing. When the thickness of La1-x SrxMn1-y FeyO3 is 2 mm and x =0.20, y = 0.14, the capability of microwave absorbing is the best one. There are two absorption peaks; the maximum is 34 dB and effective band width with 10 dB and more reaches 6.2 GHz.
文摘In this paper,Fe-Al solid solution was prepared by mechanical alloying technology, and Fe-Al powder was dispersed into unsaturated polyester (UP) with different contents as absorber to form mixture Fe-Al-UP.The results indicate that the alloying process is almost accomplished and most of the particles are nanometer.Meanwhile, the microwave absorbability of Fe-Al-UP samples in frequency from 0.3 MHz to 1.5 GHz was studied. The results indicate that the more the absorber, the better the absorbing property. The absorbing property of Fe-50Al-UP was slightly higher than Fe-28Al-UP.
文摘The microwave absorbing behaviour of Mn-Zn ferrite sintered at 1100,1200,1300,1400 and 1500℃ has been investigated. The phase constitution of the ferrite was analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The results show that the ferrite sintered at 1 500℃ has better microwave absorbing prop- erty than those prepared at other temperatures, due to the increase of turbulent loss generated by the formation of excessive Fe^(2+) in deoxidizing of Fe_2O_3 at high temperatures.

文摘Microwave absorbing properties of high titanium slag were investigated by using microwave cavity perturbation technique. 180 μm of particle size and 10% mass fraction of V2O5 are found to be the optimum conditions for microwave absorption.
文摘MnZn-doped W-type barium cobalt ferrite powder composites of Ba(MnZn)xCo2(1-x)Fe16O27 (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5) were prepared in a sol-gel process. The microwave absorbing properties of the composites in the range of 2 - 18 GHz and their electromagnetic loss mechanisms were studied. The results demonstrated that the synthesized Ba(MnZn)xCo2(1-x)Fe16O27 samples possess a W-type phase of the crystal structure with a hexagonal flaky shape in micro-morphology, and the samples exhibited a soft magnetic trait that enables improving their microwave absorption properties through suitable MnZn doping. For Ba(MnZn)0.4Co1.2Fe16O27 with a thickness of 2.8 mm, the reflection loss peak was -40.7 dB at a frequency of 7.3 GHz, with a bandwidth of 6.6 GHz at a loss of less than -10 dB. The microwave absorption primarily resulted from magnetic losses caused by magnetization relaxation, domain wall resonance, and natural resonance.

文摘To develop the microwave absorbing(MA)properties of cementitious material mixed with mine solid waste, the iron tailings cementitious microwave absorbing materials were prepared. The iron tailings was treated into different particle sizes by planetary ball mill, and the physicochemical properties of iron tailings were tested by laser particle size analyzer and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The electromagnetic parameters of iron tailings cementitious materials were characterized by a vector network analyzer and simulated MA properties, and the MA properties of iron tailings-cement composite system with steel fiber as absorber was studied.Based on the design of the single-layer structure, optimum mix ratio and thickness configuration method of double-layer structure were further studied, meanwhile, the mechanical properties and engineering application were analyzed and discussed. The results show that the particle size of iron tailings can afiect its electromagnetic behavior in cementitious materials, and the smaller particles lead the increase of demagnetisation efiect induced by domain wall motion and achieve better microwave absorbing properties in cementitious materials. When the thickness of matching layer and absorbing layer is 5 mm,the optimized microwave absorbing properties of C1/C3 double-layer cementitious material can obtain optimal RL value of-27.61 dB and efiective absorbing bandwidth of 0.97 GHz,which attributes to the synergistic efiect of impedance matching and attenuation characteristics. The double-layer microwave absorbing materials obtain excellent absorbing properties and show great design flexibility and diversity, which can be used as a suitable candidate for the preparation of favorable microwave absorbing cementitious materials.

文摘La0.8Ba0.2MnO3 nano-particles were synthesized by sol-gel process, and the crystal structure and morphology were characterized by XRD and SEM, respectively. The complex permittivity and permeability were determined by microwave vector network analyzer in the frequency range of 2-18 GHz. The relationship between reflection coefficient and microwave frequency of La0.8Ba0.2 MnO3 was calculated based on measured data. The results show that the average diameter of La0.8Ba0.2MnO3 crystal powders is about 80 nm and the crystal structure is perovskite when being calcined at 800 ℃ for 2 h. The microwave absorbing peak is 13 dB at 6.7 GHz and the effective absorbing bandwidth above 10 dB reaches 1.8 GHz for the sample with the thickness of 2.6 mm. The microwave absorption can be attributed to both the dielectric loss and the magnetic loss from the loss tangents of the sample, but the former is greater than the latter.

文摘The impedance matching of absorbers is a vital factor affecting their microwave absorption(MA)properties. In this work,we controllably synthesized Material of Institute Lavoisier 88C(MIL-88C)with varying aspect ratios(AR)as a precursor by regulating oil bath conditions, followed by one-step thermal decomposition to obtain carbon-coated iron-based composites.Modifying the precursor MIL-88C(Fe)preparation conditions, such as the molar ratio between metal ions and organic ligands(M/O),oil bath temperature, and oil bath time, influenced the phases, graphitization degree, and AR of the derivatives, enabling low filler loading, achieving well-matched impedance, and ensuring outstanding MA properties. The MOF-derivatives 2(MD_(2))/polyvinylidene Difluoride(PVDF),MD_(3)/PVDF,and MD4/PVDF absorbers all exhibited excellent MA properties with optimal filler loadings below 20 wt%and as low as 5 wt%.The MD_(2)/PVDF(5 wt%)achieved a maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 5.52 GHz(1.90 mm).The MD_(3)/PVDF(10 wt%)possessed a minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))value of−67.4 at 12.56 GHz(2.13 mm).A symmetric gradient honeycomb structure(SGHS)was constructed utilizing the high-frequency structure simulator(HFSS)to further extend the EAB,achieving an EAB of 14.6 GHz and a RL_(min) of−59.0 dB.This research offers a viable inspiration to creating structures or materials with high-efficiency MA properties.
