As the extension and supplement of explicit curriculum,the English hidden curriculum in higher vocational colleges plays animportant role in cultivating students' behaviors,stimulate their interest and arouse their enthusiasm,initiative and creativity in learningEnglish.This paper analyzes the problems of English hidden curriculum construction in higher vocational colleges under the back-ground o"fInternet plus",and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures to bring the role of college English hidden curriculuminto full play.

Research on the Training Mode of Business English Majors in Higher Vocational Colleges under the Concept of Modern Apprenticeship

Based on the experience and lessons of modern apprenticeship in the UK,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the process of the training of business English majors in higher vocational colleges in China,and puts forward the“three identities in four phases”personnel training model which is suitable for the business English majors in higher vocational colleges in China.It provides a reference for the development of business English majors in relevant higher vocational colleges.

On the Effects of Applying Task-based Approach to Business Oral English Teaching in Higher Vocational College

A teaching experiment was conducted to investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of applying of Task-based approach(TBA) to business oral English teaching in higher vocational college.Instruments are tests and questionnaire for the experimental participants.Based on the data analysis,it can be concluded that TBA proves to be more effective especially compared with PPP approach.

Countermeasures to the Problems with Business English Teaching in Vocational Schools

With the development of China's foreign trade, there is a lack in business English talents in general. As a result, higher requirements have been made for business English teaching of higher vocational education in our country. However, there are still many unfavorable problems in current higher vocational business English teaching. This article carries on the analysis of the present situation in current higher vocational business English teaching, summarizes some of the problems that exist in it, and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to solve these problems, in order to improve the level of higher vocational business English teaching in China, and to create more business English talents for the society and enterprises.

Research based on the Cultivation of Vocational Ability of Vocational English Curriculum

In this paper, we will explore the problems on the current implementation of English Curriculum in Higher Vocational Colleges,and discuss the measures of improving Higher Vocational English teaching.

On Cultures of Curriculum in Mass Higher Education-Taking SEIB in GDUFS as an Example

The thesis focuses on the reconstruction of cultures of curriculum,their qualities of cultural reflection,generativity,and the renewal of their natures and logics,in order to serve for the practice of quality education.By taking the cultures of curriculum of School of English for International Business (SEIB) in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) as an example,the thesis adopts qualitative approach,on the one hand,to obtain the current situation of cultures of curriculum by exploring the contemporary value orientation of curriculum in Business English (BE) major;on the other hand,to be aware of teachers' and students'understandings of cultures of curriculum for comparison by a survey for students and in-depth interviews for both of the two parts.Consequently,problems are identified and solved through seeking the reconstruction of cultures of curriculum which aims at pursuing cultures of curriculum as they ought to be.

CIPP模式下的高职商务英语专业实践教学评价体系探索

新课标实施中高职英语教师发展路径研究——基于职业院校教学能力大赛参赛经历

当前新课标在高职英语教师发展中的实践研究缺失,但这是新课标和教师正向互动中最亟待解决的问题。本课题以新课标的颁布为背景,通过研究参加教师教学能力大赛的个体成员,发现参赛可充分激励个体教师综合运用新课标中提出的教师发展的六大途径:深入学习新的政策与文件、积极参加针对性较强的培训和课题、强化自身英语语言能力、更新和创新教学模式、充分运用信息化手段、团队合作拓展专业和职场领域。通过这六大途径,教师在比赛中取得较好成绩,自身实现从任务关注型教师向自我更新型教师的转变。

交通运输类高职英语课程思政“三育融合” 实践路径探索

高职应用英语专业“实用英语”教学改革研究——以产教融合的视角

为了适应当代职业教育发展的需求,通过问卷法和访谈法总结出目前高职公共英语教材存在的不足,并从加大中华优秀文化的融入、增加教材中的职业元素、设计显性的英语学习策略模块、植入单元自我评价板块四方面提出了高职公共英语教材内容的建设途径。
