According to the training objectives, the reverse design graduation requirements, establish the relationship between training objectives, graduation requirements and practical curriculum system;on the basis of the reverse design of the practical curriculum system, establish a new relationship between the practical curriculum system and the theoretical curriculum system Finally, according to the graduation requirements, the basic curriculum, professional basic courses and professional courses are reversed. The traditional teaching mode belittles practice and emphasis theory, regardless of the students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning. However, the educational objective of the higher vocational colleges is to cultivate practical talents. Therefore, the reformation and innovation of the higher vocational education teaching mode must be carried out. This research analyses the effect of autonomous cooperative teaching mode in higher vocational colleges. The reformation of teaching mode consists of the following three parts first, the autonomous cooperative teaching needs to improve the existing education system, to lay the foundation for the work of education. Secondly, to strengthen the capacity of building and promote the full implementation of the project is essential. Finally, strengthen the construction of educational resources, and enrich the connotation of the carrier. Proved by practice, the independent collaborative teaching mode can not only improve the learning atmosphere, but also improve student achievement, but also do well to students’ all-round development and enhance their comprehensive quality. School of Arts and Design, Nanjing Vocational Institute of Industry Technology actively carries out the exploration and construction of "art workshop" teaching mode in recent years, which obtains better echo and recognition of society, teachers and students.
