An Exploration of Higher Vocational English Teachers’Professional Development on Students’Learning Ability in the Context of New Liberal Arts

The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities.

Research on the Role of Guiding Students to Participate in Skills Competitions on the Development of Young Teachers in Vocational Colleges

This paper explores the role of guiding students to participate in skills competitions on the development of young teachers in vocational colleges.We investigate the impact of skills competitions on the consolidation of professional knowledge,development of innovation capabilities,improvement of hands-on abilities,and enhancement of communication skills with students.The results of this research demonstrate that skills competitions have a positive influence on the professional growth of young teachers.The consolidation of professional knowledge,development of innovation capabilities,improvement of hands-on abilities,and enhancement of communication skills collectively contribute to the effectiveness of young teachers in vocational colleges.It is recommended that vocational colleges prioritize and support the participation of young teachers in skills competitions to foster their professional development.

An Analysis of Teacher's Professional Development of Higher Vocational Education

Teachers are the backbones of any educational institutions. They not only play vital roles in students' development;they also directly affect the stature of their respective scholastic organizations. Highly qualified instructors produce competent and well-rounded students— learners who are more than ready to face the quirks and challenges of the labor force. This paper primarily discusses the following questions: What is teacher's professional development? What is higher vocational teacher's professional development? And how can scholastic institutions promote it? The conclusion states that the characteristics of higher vocational education directly influence the higher vocational teacher's professional development; therefore, it must be nurtured and promoted for the development of all the stakeholders of learning institutions – students, teachers, management staff,the learning institution itself, and the nation as a whole.

A Study on Teacher Autonomy in English Language Teacher's Professional Development in Vocational Colleges

Teacher professional development(TPD), which is related with teacher education, has been the topic of vital significance in the world educational reform. There are diverse modes and approaches of teacher development, among which, teacher autonomy(TA) is a new concept. It is relatively new and has received insufficient attention in China, especially in vocational colleges. The related research of this kind on English teachers in vocational colleges is far from enough. Based on this situation,some investigations were conducted on the topic of TA among 5 vocational colleges in Kunming, Yunnan Province. By utilizing questionnaires and interviews as the main investigation tools, the present author conducted the survey of the current situation of the English teachers' professional development and the existing problems, aiming at exploring the effective ways of promoting English language teachers'(autonomy) development in the context of vocational colleges.

PCK and ESP Teachers＇ Professional Development

This study, from the perspective of ESP(English for Special Purposes) teachers' professional development, focuses on thecurrent PCK of ESP teachers in higher vocational colleges. Based on PCK theories combining with ESP teachers professionalismtheories, this thesis comes out with a research gap by analyzing the literature reviews both on PCK and ESP Teachers' Develop-ment.

基于职业发展视角下的高职学生职业素养培养研究

新时期的职业教育改革发展,对职业人才职业素养的教育提出更高要求。以职业发展为核心的职业教育体系建设,要围绕提升职业人才的职业素养做好教育布局与教育设计,充分以产业发展、经济发展及企业发展为主体,培养具备高素质、高水平的职业人才,并利用强化职业信念教育、加强职业道德教育引导及深化职业潜力挖掘等基础策略,不断提升职业人才的就业发展水平,促使高职的职业人才教育输送,能有效填补我国职业人才的行业缺口。

基于扎根理论的职教教师专业发展标准模型构建

职教教师专业发展是提高职教师资队伍建设、推动职业教育快速发展的有力抓手。在人工智能快速发展和社会转型的新时代背景下,构建职教教师专业发展标准模型具有重要的时代意义。文章通过行为事件访谈和扎根理论研究的方式,确定职教教师专业发展标准模型构建的核心编码在于内容要素。由此对职教教师专业发展标准的内容要素进行了归纳、提取和更新,构建了以条件性知识和实践性知识为核心的综合性专业知识、以终身学习能力为核心的复合型专业能力、以个体品格为引领的正向情感教育和以自主反思为核心的多维度专业意识四大维度为主轴的理论模型,并进一步提炼出15个二级子维度和112个三级子维度,构建了职教教师专业发展标准模型。

服务区域发展的高职院校的专业结构调整研究——以湖南省为例

高等教育服务区域发展是区域发展对高等教育的必然要求。为实现区域产业发展战略,高职院校需要对专业结构进行动态调整,本文通过整理湖南省近二十年第一、二、三产业结构和就业人群,以及湖南省高职院校专业发展调整变化,总结湖南省高职院校专业结构调整的主要问题:专业结构调整滞后于产业结构的前沿布局;专业设置追求短期利益;地方特色专业发展受限;专业集聚度不高。因此,为更好地对接湖南省“三高四新”区域发展战略,需要高瞻远瞩,提前布局,充分挖掘地方特色,并形成专业集聚合力。

新发展理念下高职院校高水平专业群建设研究

专业群建设实质为打造能够精准对接区域职业岗位群的专业群。但当前高职院校在专业群建设中并未形成全新建设思路,不仅缺乏建“群”意识,还存在一定盲目性与随意性。“创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享”的新发展理念正推动着中国经济社会高质量发展。高职院校也应积极应用新发展理念引领专业群建设,瞄准适应产业、支撑发展、中国特色、世界水平等目标,以创新发展精准对接区域产业群、以协调发展强化专业群内部治理、以绿色发展打造高水平师资队伍、以开放发展强化专业群国际交流、以共享发展深化专业群校企合作,推动高职院校高质量发展。

“她”的困与解:高职院校青年女教师职业发展之探——基于X省4所高职院校342名教师样本的分析

青年女教师是教师群体的重要组成部分,是高职院校高质量发展的先锋军。聚焦该群体职业发展中的困与解,通过针对性问卷调研和深度访谈,深度拆解“她”的职业发展现状发现,由于职业生涯初期的投入与产出焦虑,家庭分工与教养子女的外在期待,以及高职教育新发展带来的新要求等,“她”的职业发展陷入不同程度的困境,包括职场初始段嵌套重叠家庭生命周期关键段、教学胜任力与高质量科研产出的双重压力、企业实践要求与个体安定感追求的矛盾、难破“工作赚钱与顾家养娃”的两难选题,以及职业发展缺乏持续有效的社会支持系统等。对此,建议通过搭建多元化职业发展平台、构建系统的社会支持体系,以及唤醒职业发展内驱力、培养行动力等途径助力高职院校青年女教师职业发展。

基于Delphi-AHP法的高职专业课教师课程思政能力评价指标体系建构

专业课教师的课程思政能力是高职院校全面推进课程思政工作的关键。针对高职专业课教师课程思政能力结构尚不明晰,评价体系粗放等问题,采用Delphi-AHP法构建高职专业课教师课程思政能力评价指标体系。通过文献三级编码、专家咨询和研究小组讨论,拟定高职专业课教师课程思政能力评价指标体系草案,然后经过两轮德尔菲(Delphi)专家咨询,确定了包含5个一级指标、17个二级指标和58个三级指标的评价指标体系,再采用层次分析法(AHP),构建各级指标判断矩阵,计算各指标权重并检验判断矩阵的一致性,确定各指标的合理权重。研究结果在理论上为探究高职专业课教师课程思政能力内涵拓展了新的认知视角,在实践上为高职院校教师课程思政能力测评提供了可操作的依据和方向。

职教教师企业实践何以“内化于心、外化于行”——职业发展视角的解释

在职业教育高质量发展背景下,打造高素质的职教教师队伍迫在眉睫。高素质职教教师队伍的建设,高度依赖于教师企业实践这样一种制度化活动。虽然国家层面已经出台了一系列教师企业实践政策,但相关政策却在现实层面遭遇落实困境。研究发现,专业发展价值认同与实际价值不匹配的矛盾,导致教师企业实践难以“内化于心”;教师深度实践与职业资源获取不匹配的矛盾,导致教师企业实践难以“外化于行”。一方面,需要全方位提高教师企业实践活动本身的质量,强化企业实践对教师专业发展的促进作用。另一方面,需要加大学校层面对教师企业实践的组织支持力度,满足教师通过企业实践获取职业资源的需求。

高职院校“双师型”教师职业认同及提升策略研究

高职院校“双师型”教师是培养高素质技术技能人才的良匠之师,职业认同水平会影响教师的专业自主发展和人才培养质量。调研发现,安徽省高职院校“双师型”教师的职业认同水平较高,但是没有随年龄、工作年限、月收入的增加和职称的晋升而明显提升,影响教师职业认同的因素主要可以归纳为社会因素和学校因素等方面,因此建议从国家、学校和个人三个层面实施相应的策略以提高“双师型”教师职业认同水平。

在CIPP模式背景下,分析高职教育可持续发展保障机制建设面临的问题及其成因,阐述CIPP模式用于高职可持续发展保障机制研究的可行性。以高职船舶工程技术专业群为研究对象,围绕背景评价、输入评价、过程评价、结果评价,全面实施专业教育教学质量评价体系建设、第三方评价机制建设及专业教学质量保障体系建设,形成常态化的高职专业动态调整机制,为高职教育高质量发展提供保障。
