A novel and effective approach to global motion estimation and moving object extraction is proposed. First, the translational motion model is used because of the fact that complex motion can be decomposed as a sum of translational components. Then in this application, the edge gray horizontal and vertical projections are used as the block matching feature for the motion vectors estimation. The proposed algorithm reduces the motion estimation computations by calculating the onedimensional vectors rather than the two-dimensional ones. Once the global motion is robustly estimated, relatively stationary background can be almost completely eliminated through the inter-frame difference method. To achieve an accurate object extraction result, the higher-order statistics (HOS) algorithm is used to discriminate backgrounds and moving objects. Experimental results validate that the proposed method is an effective way for global motion estimation and object extraction. 展开更多

This paper proposes a higher-order shear deformation theory to predict the bending response of the laminated composite and sandwich plates with general lamination configurations.The proposed theory a priori satisfies the continuity conditions of transverse shear stresses at interfaces.Moreover,the number of unknown variables is independent of the number of layers.The first derivatives of transverse displacements have been taken out from the inplane displacement fields,so that the C 0 shape functions are only required during its finite element implementation.Due to C 0 continuity requirements,the proposed model can be conveniently extended for implementation in commercial finite element codes.To verify the proposed theory,the fournode C 0 quadrilateral element is employed for the interpolation of all the displacement parameters defined at each nodal point on the composite plate.Numerical results show that following the proposed theory,simple C 0 finite elements could accurately predict the interlaminar stresses of laminated composite and sandwich plates directly from a constitutive equation,which has caused difficulty for the other global higher order theories. 展开更多

Typical examples of such operators include the 2k-order divergence form homogeneous elliptic operator L1 with complex bounded measurable coefficients and the 2k-order Schr6dinger type operator L2 := (-△)k + Vk, where A is the Laplacian and 0≤V C Llkoc(Rn). Moreover, as an application, for i E {1, 2}, the authors prove that the associated Riesz transform Vk(Li-1/2) p n HP(Rn) for @ (n/(n + k), 1] and establish the Riesz transform characterizations is bounded from HLI(IR ) to p of HPL1(]Rn) for p C (rn/(n + kr), 1] if {e-tL1 }t〉o satisfies the Lr - L2 k-off-diagonal estimates with r C (1, 2].
