This paper discusses the evolution of housing security in China in the past one hundred years.The author finds that there was a serious housing shortage during the Republic of China period(1912-1949),and the effect of...This paper discusses the evolution of housing security in China in the past one hundred years.The author finds that there was a serious housing shortage during the Republic of China period(1912-1949),and the effect of the housing security measures introduced by the government was very limited.While the welfare housing distribution system at the beginning of the People's Republic of China founded in 1949 provided residents with basic housing,it also caused housing problems.After the Reform and Opening-Up,a series of far-reaching security measures were put forward in housing reform,but they failed to eliminate the system of physical housing distribution.Progress of housing security development since the large-scale housing reform in 1998 has been slow.It was not until the government increased investment in 2007 that the housing security system was gradually formed and housing security efforts were paid off to a certain extent.This paper provides a historical perspective to the study of housing security.It can aid in understanding the evolution process of the housing security in China and establishing a set of comprehensive and long-term housing policies.展开更多
In recent years,Shenzhen's housing prices are very high,ranking top 3 in China,and the purchasing power of ordinary residents has been seriously insufficient,leading to increase in demand for security housing.At p...In recent years,Shenzhen's housing prices are very high,ranking top 3 in China,and the purchasing power of ordinary residents has been seriously insufficient,leading to increase in demand for security housing.At present,Shenzhen's security housing projects are concentrated in areas outside the former Special Economic Zones,such as Pingshan,Longgang and Longhua.The houses in Luohu,Futian and Nanshan districts,where obtaining housing is more difficult and the intention of living is the most concentrated are scarce.The community distance is too long for most commuters inside customs.In terms of spatial distribution,the structural contradiction between the supply and demand of security housing has become increasingly prominent.In this paper,the public housing policies in the United States and Singapore were studied,and their reference to the diversification of Shenzhen's security housing location was analyzed.In addition,a feasible housing policy was proposed for Shenzhen.展开更多
To understand the health effects of the temporary housing after the September 1999 earthquake in Taiwan, we conducted the object observation, environmental monitoring, questionnaire survey, and disease analysis in bot...To understand the health effects of the temporary housing after the September 1999 earthquake in Taiwan, we conducted the object observation, environmental monitoring, questionnaire survey, and disease analysis in both spring and autumn seasons to rate the presence and magnitude of exposures of environmental hazards. In the hot season more people identified poor ventilation, dampness, hot, odor, and insecurity as sources of hazards. The health effects on the cervix and vagina, liver, and respiratory disease assessed by clinic visits were corresponded to the environmental exposures, and complaints. It was suggested that reducing the risks to temporary housing residences by means of improving housing ventilation and providing community security when the permanent housing was not finished from the experience of Chi-Chi earthquake disaster in Taiwan.展开更多

In this paper, firstly, explaining the concept of the housing endowment, and summarizing the feasibility and necessity of the housing endowment. Then through the investigation and the analysis of SPSS data, with the housing endowment in the United States and Singapore＇ success, summing up what our country should do to make improvements, and then we will induce the current situation and predicament of the housing endowment in Nanjing. Finally, we can put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions by the feasibility to the reality to Nanjing city in the future.展开更多
