Background:University students’ego-identity,an essential component of their psychological development and mental health,has widely attracted the attention of policymakers,schools,and parents.Method:A total of 298 Chi...Background:University students’ego-identity,an essential component of their psychological development and mental health,has widely attracted the attention of policymakers,schools,and parents.Method:A total of 298 Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates were recruited,and a conditional process analysis model was adopted to explore the interaction mechanism of ego-identity.Results:The results suggest that the ego-identity of Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates is significantly affected by interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence.(1)Interaction anxiousness significantly and positively predicts ego-identity.(2)Academic resilience positively and partially mediates the effect of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity.(3)Cultural intelligence significantly and positively moderates the relationship between interaction anxiousness and ego-identity.However,a similar moderating effect was not found between interaction anxiousness and academic resilience.(4)As cultural intelligence increases,the negative influence of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity gradually diminishes,whatever the cultural intelligence level.Conclusions:Interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence are essential determinants of ego-identity among Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates.Strategic interventions should be utilized to enhance their abilities to alleviate interpersonal tensions,promote their resilience in facing academic difficulties,cope with diverse cultures,and boost their sense of self-confirmation.展开更多
BACKGROUND Donor-recipient size mismatch(DRSM)is considered a crucial factor for poor outcomes in liver transplantation(LT)because of complications,such as massive intraoperative blood loss(IBL)and early allograft dys...BACKGROUND Donor-recipient size mismatch(DRSM)is considered a crucial factor for poor outcomes in liver transplantation(LT)because of complications,such as massive intraoperative blood loss(IBL)and early allograft dysfunction(EAD).Liver volumetry is performed routinely in living donor LT,but rarely in deceased donor LT(DDLT),which amplifies the adverse effects of DRSM in DDLT.Due to the various shortcomings of traditional manual liver volumetry and formula methods,a feasible model based on intelligent/interactive qualitative and quantitative analysis-three-dimensional(IQQA-3D)for estimating the degree of DRSM is needed.AIM To identify benefits of IQQA-3D liver volumetry in DDLT and establish an estimation model to guide perioperative management.METHODS We retrospectively determined the accuracy of IQQA-3D liver volumetry for standard total liver volume(TLV)(sTLV)and established an estimation TLV(eTLV)index(eTLVi)model.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were drawn to detect the optimal cut-off values for predicting massive IBL and EAD in DDLT using donor sTLV to recipient sTLV(called sTLVi).The factors influencing the occurrence of massive IBL and EAD were explored through logistic regression analysis.Finally,the eTLVi model was compared with the sTLVi model through the ROC curve for verification.RESULTS A total of 133 patients were included in the analysis.The Changzheng formula was accurate for calculating donor sTLV(P=0.083)but not for recipient sTLV(P=0.036).Recipient eTLV calculated using IQQA-3D highly matched with recipient sTLV(P=0.221).Alcoholic liver disease,gastrointestinal bleeding,and sTLVi>1.24 were independent risk factors for massive IBL,and drug-induced liver failure was an independent protective factor for massive IBL.Male donor-female recipient combination,model for end-stage liver disease score,sTLVi≤0.85,and sTLVi≥1.32 were independent risk factors for EAD,and viral hepatitis was an independent protective factor for EAD.The overall survival of patients in the 0.85<sTLVi<1.32 group was better compared to the sTLVi≤0.85 group and sTLVi≥1.32 group(P<0.001).There was no statistically significant difference in the area under the curve of the sTLVi model and IQQA-3D eTLVi model in the detection of massive IBL and EAD(all P>0.05).CONCLUSION IQQA-3D eTLVi model has high accuracy in predicting massive IBL and EAD in DDLT.We should follow the guidance of the IQQA-3D eTLVi model in perioperative management.展开更多

Intelligent Space(IS)is widely regarded as a promising paradigm for improving quality of life through using service task processing.As the field matures,various state-of-the-art IS architectures have been proposed.Mos...Intelligent Space(IS)is widely regarded as a promising paradigm for improving quality of life through using service task processing.As the field matures,various state-of-the-art IS architectures have been proposed.Most of the IS architectures designed for service robots face the problems of fixedfunction modules and low scalability when performing service tasks.To this end,we propose a hybrid cloud service robot architecture based on a Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA).Specifically,we first use the distributed deployment of functional modules to solve the problem of high computing resource occupancy.Then,the Socket communication interface layer is designed to improve the calling efficiency of the function module.Next,the private cloud service knowledge base and the dataset for the home environment are used to improve the robustness and success rate of the robot when performing tasks.Finally,we design and deploy an interactive system based on Browser/Server(B/S)architecture,which aims to display the status of the robot in real-time as well as to expand and call the robot service.This system is integrated into the private cloud framework,which provides a feasible solution for improving the quality of life.Besides,it also fully reveals how to actively discover and provide the robot service mechanism of service tasks in the right way.The results of extensive experiments show that our cloud system provides sufficient prior knowledge that can assist the robot in completing service tasks.It is an efficient way to transmit data and reduce the computational burden on the robot.By using our cloud detection module,the robot system can save approximately 25% of the averageCPUusage and reduce the average detection time by 0.1 s compared to the locally deployed system,demonstrating the reliability and practicality of our proposed architecture.展开更多

This wide range of applications has attractedmany researchers to this field. Inspired by the existing recognition systems,this paper proposes a new and efficient human-object interaction recognition(HOIR) model which is based on modeling human pose and scene featureinformation. There are different aspects involved in an interaction, includingthe humans, the objects, the various body parts of the human, and the backgroundscene. Themain objectives of this research include critically examiningthe importance of all these elements in determining the interaction, estimatinghuman pose through image foresting transform (IFT), and detecting the performedinteractions based on an optimizedmulti-feature vector. The proposedmethodology has six main phases. The first phase involves preprocessing theimages. During preprocessing stages, the videos are converted into imageframes. Then their contrast is adjusted, and noise is removed. In the secondphase, the human-object pair is detected and extracted from each image frame.The third phase involves the identification of key body parts of the detectedhumans using IFT. The fourth phase relates to three different kinds of featureextraction techniques. Then these features are combined and optimized duringthe fifth phase. The optimized vector is used to classify the interactions in thelast phase. TheMSRDaily Activity 3D dataset has been used to test this modeland to prove its efficiency. The proposed system obtains an average accuracyof 91.7% on this dataset.展开更多

In this article I will address the issue of the meaning of Embodied Artificial Intelligence(EAI)as it is configured today.My starting point is the refined interactive perspective on the semantics of EAI,as was recentl...In this article I will address the issue of the meaning of Embodied Artificial Intelligence(EAI)as it is configured today.My starting point is the refined interactive perspective on the semantics of EAI,as was recently suggested by Froese and colleagues.This perspective rests on the assumption that the concept of human bodily subjectivity must be extended to include meaning-making processes,which are enabled by advanced AI systems that may be incorporated in the human biological body.After having clarified the technical background,I will introduce the genetic component of the phenomenological method as a suitable tool to face the aforementioned issue.Towards this end,I will place the genetic method in the context of the so-called New Human-Machine Interaction(New HMI).I will further outline a genetic phenomenology of visual embodiment,suggesting a futuristic application based on the thesis of the“technological supplementation of phenomenological methodology”through the synthetic method.The case at stake is that of patients with a severe clinical picture characterised by the loss of corneal function,who in the near future could be treated with synthetic corneal prosthetic implants produced by a 3D bio-printing process by using an advanced EAI technique.I will conclude this article with a brief review of the main problems that still remain open.展开更多

In this case,a human-centered intelligent agent/robot is required to be able to understand and generate plans for these naturally expressed tasks. For this purpose, it is a good way to enhance intelligent robot's abilities by utilizing open knowledge extracted from the web, instead of hand-coded knowledge. A key challenge of utilizing open knowledge lies in the semantic interpretation of the open knowledge organized in multiple modes, which can be unstructured or semi-structured, before one can use it.Previous approaches used a limited lexicon to employ combinatory categorial grammar(CCG) as the underlying formalism for semantic parsing over sentences. Here, we propose a more effective learning method to interpret semi-structured user instructions. Moreover, we present a new heuristic method to recover missing semantic information from the context of an instruction. Experiments showed that the proposed approach renders significant performance improvement compared to the baseline methods and the recovering method is promising.展开更多

Background Augmented reality classrooms have become an interesting research topic in the field of education,but there are some limitations.Firstly,most researchers use cards to operate experiments,and a large number o...Background Augmented reality classrooms have become an interesting research topic in the field of education,but there are some limitations.Firstly,most researchers use cards to operate experiments,and a large number of cards cause difficulty and inconvenience for users.Secondly,most users conduct experiments only in the visual modal,and such single-modal interaction greatly reduces the users'real sense of interaction.In order to solve these problems,we propose the Multimodal Interaction Algorithm based on Augmented Reality(ARGEV),which is based on visual and tactile feedback in Augmented Reality.In addition,we design a Virtual and Real Fusion Interactive Tool Suite(VRFITS)with gesture recognition and intelligent equipment.Methods The ARGVE method fuses gesture,intelligent equipment,and virtual models.We use a gesture recognition model trained by a convolutional neural network to recognize the gestures in AR,and to trigger a vibration feedback after a recognizing a five finger grasp gesture.We establish a coordinate mapping relationship between real hands and the virtual model to achieve the fusion of gestures and the virtual model.Results The average accuracy rate of gesture recognition was 99.04%.We verify and apply VRFITS in the Augmented Reality Chemistry Lab(ARCL),and the overall operation load of ARCL is thus reduced by 29.42%,in comparison to traditional simulation virtual experiments.Conclusions We achieve real-time fusion of the gesture,virtual model,and intelligent equipment in ARCL.Compared with the NOBOOK virtual simulation experiment,ARCL improves the users'real sense of operation and interaction efficiency.展开更多

While artificial intelligence answers in responsive patterns only, natural intelligence holds creative qualities. A match is a game that creates suspense over the question of who is going to prevail. It can thus only be a game that features competing human players, since a computerized opponent is unaware of the game's significance. The nature of the match lies within the interactive trial. In a play, however, there is no battle but only cooperation. The aesthetics of such a play unfold to the audience, its purpose is showing rather than experiencing and/or competitively interacting. Artificial intelligence is then a surrogate that is often used in videogames to create an illusion of competition or battle. Its actual purpose is not to feature a worthy opponent, but to be a programmatic loser. 文摘Intelligent Space(IS)is widely regarded as a promising paradigm for improving quality of life through using service task processing.As the field matures,various state-of-the-art IS architectures have been proposed.Most of the IS architectures designed for service robots face the problems of fixedfunction modules and low scalability when performing service tasks.To this end,we propose a hybrid cloud service robot architecture based on a Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA).Specifically,we first use the distributed deployment of functional modules to solve the problem of high computing resource occupancy.Then,the Socket communication interface layer is designed to improve the calling efficiency of the function module.Next,the private cloud service knowledge base and the dataset for the home environment are used to improve the robustness and success rate of the robot when performing tasks.Finally,we design and deploy an interactive system based on Browser/Server(B/S)architecture,which aims to display the status of the robot in real-time as well as to expand and call the robot service.This system is integrated into the private cloud framework,which provides a feasible solution for improving the quality of life.Besides,it also fully reveals how to actively discover and provide the robot service mechanism of service tasks in the right way.The results of extensive experiments show that our cloud system provides sufficient prior knowledge that can assist the robot in completing service tasks.It is an efficient way to transmit data and reduce the computational burden on the robot.By using our cloud detection module,the robot system can save approximately 25% of the averageCPUusage and reduce the average detection time by 0.1 s compared to the locally deployed system,demonstrating the reliability and practicality of our proposed architecture.

文摘Identifying human actions and interactions finds its use in manyareas, such as security, surveillance, assisted living, patient monitoring, rehabilitation,sports, and e-learning. This wide range of applications has attractedmany researchers to this field. Inspired by the existing recognition systems,this paper proposes a new and efficient human-object interaction recognition(HOIR) model which is based on modeling human pose and scene featureinformation. There are different aspects involved in an interaction, includingthe humans, the objects, the various body parts of the human, and the backgroundscene. Themain objectives of this research include critically examiningthe importance of all these elements in determining the interaction, estimatinghuman pose through image foresting transform (IFT), and detecting the performedinteractions based on an optimizedmulti-feature vector. The proposedmethodology has six main phases. The first phase involves preprocessing theimages. During preprocessing stages, the videos are converted into imageframes. Then their contrast is adjusted, and noise is removed. In the secondphase, the human-object pair is detected and extracted from each image frame.The third phase involves the identification of key body parts of the detectedhumans using IFT. The fourth phase relates to three different kinds of featureextraction techniques. Then these features are combined and optimized duringthe fifth phase. The optimized vector is used to classify the interactions in thelast phase. TheMSRDaily Activity 3D dataset has been used to test this modeland to prove its efficiency. The proposed system obtains an average accuracyof 91.7% on this dataset.

文摘Artificial intelligence(AI)can sometimes resolve difficulties that other advanced technologies and humans cannot.In medical diagnostics,AI has the advantage of processing figure recognition,especially for images with similar characteristics that are difficult to distinguish with the naked eye.However,the mechanisms of this advanced technique should be well-addressed to elucidate clinical issues.In this letter,regarding an original study presented by Takayama et al,we suggest that the authors should effectively illustrate the mechanism and detailed procedure that artificial intelligence techniques processing the acquired images,including the recognition of non-obvious difference between the normal parts and pathological ones,which were impossible to be distinguished by naked eyes,such as the basic constitutional elements of pixels and grayscale,special molecules or even some metal ions which involved into the diseases occurrence.

文摘This article aims to explore the development and application of AI-based interactive exhibits in Wuhan Museum of Science and Technology.By utilizing computer vision,natural language processing,and machine learning technologies,an innovative exhibit development and application system is proposed.This system employs deep learning algorithms and data analysis methods to achieve real-time perception of visitor behavior and adaptive interaction.The development process involves designing user interfaces and interaction methods to effectively enhance visitor engagement and learning outcomes.Through evaluation and comparison in practical applications,the potential of this system in enhancing exhibit interaction,increasing visitor engagement,improving educational effectiveness,and expanding avenues for scientific knowledge dissemination are validated.
文摘In this article I will address the issue of the meaning of Embodied Artificial Intelligence(EAI)as it is configured today.My starting point is the refined interactive perspective on the semantics of EAI,as was recently suggested by Froese and colleagues.This perspective rests on the assumption that the concept of human bodily subjectivity must be extended to include meaning-making processes,which are enabled by advanced AI systems that may be incorporated in the human biological body.After having clarified the technical background,I will introduce the genetic component of the phenomenological method as a suitable tool to face the aforementioned issue.Towards this end,I will place the genetic method in the context of the so-called New Human-Machine Interaction(New HMI).I will further outline a genetic phenomenology of visual embodiment,suggesting a futuristic application based on the thesis of the“technological supplementation of phenomenological methodology”through the synthetic method.The case at stake is that of patients with a severe clinical picture characterised by the loss of corneal function,who in the near future could be treated with synthetic corneal prosthetic implants produced by a 3D bio-printing process by using an advanced EAI technique.I will conclude this article with a brief review of the main problems that still remain open.

文摘Intelligent techniques foster the dissemination of new discoveries and novel technologies that advance the ability of robots to assist and support humans. The human-centered intelligent robot has become an important research field that spans all of the robot capabilities including navigation, intelligent control, pattern recognition and human-robot interaction. This paper focuses on the recent achievements and presents a survey of existing works on human-centered robots. Furthermore, we provide a comprehensive survey of the recent development of the human-centered intelligent robot and discuss the issues and challenges in the field.

文摘A more natural way for non-expert users to express their tasks in an open-ended set is to use natural language. In this case,a human-centered intelligent agent/robot is required to be able to understand and generate plans for these naturally expressed tasks. For this purpose, it is a good way to enhance intelligent robot's abilities by utilizing open knowledge extracted from the web, instead of hand-coded knowledge. A key challenge of utilizing open knowledge lies in the semantic interpretation of the open knowledge organized in multiple modes, which can be unstructured or semi-structured, before one can use it.Previous approaches used a limited lexicon to employ combinatory categorial grammar(CCG) as the underlying formalism for semantic parsing over sentences. Here, we propose a more effective learning method to interpret semi-structured user instructions. Moreover, we present a new heuristic method to recover missing semantic information from the context of an instruction. Experiments showed that the proposed approach renders significant performance improvement compared to the baseline methods and the recovering method is promising.

文摘With principles of reliability, independence, practicality and economical effi- ciency, a set of intelligent fire alarm system based on AVRmega128 single chip microcomputer was designed to solve problems of fire alarm system in many large- scale warehouses. Using advanced flame sensor, 485 bus communication, computer interactive software and related peripheral devices, this intelligent fire alarm system has functions of sound-light alarm and intelligent fire extinguishing. The human-com- puter interactive software was adopted for the remote control of the alarm main control panel through the 485 bus communication. This design of intelligent fire alarm system shows high reference and practical value to the development of intel- ligent alarm products with high integration and high reliability.

文摘Background Augmented reality classrooms have become an interesting research topic in the field of education,but there are some limitations.Firstly,most researchers use cards to operate experiments,and a large number of cards cause difficulty and inconvenience for users.Secondly,most users conduct experiments only in the visual modal,and such single-modal interaction greatly reduces the users'real sense of interaction.In order to solve these problems,we propose the Multimodal Interaction Algorithm based on Augmented Reality(ARGEV),which is based on visual and tactile feedback in Augmented Reality.In addition,we design a Virtual and Real Fusion Interactive Tool Suite(VRFITS)with gesture recognition and intelligent equipment.Methods The ARGVE method fuses gesture,intelligent equipment,and virtual models.We use a gesture recognition model trained by a convolutional neural network to recognize the gestures in AR,and to trigger a vibration feedback after a recognizing a five finger grasp gesture.We establish a coordinate mapping relationship between real hands and the virtual model to achieve the fusion of gestures and the virtual model.Results The average accuracy rate of gesture recognition was 99.04%.We verify and apply VRFITS in the Augmented Reality Chemistry Lab(ARCL),and the overall operation load of ARCL is thus reduced by 29.42%,in comparison to traditional simulation virtual experiments.Conclusions We achieve real-time fusion of the gesture,virtual model,and intelligent equipment in ARCL.Compared with the NOBOOK virtual simulation experiment,ARCL improves the users'real sense of operation and interaction efficiency.
文摘Videogames feature non-player-characters. Such ingame entities are controlled by artificial intelligence that is sought to match the user's skill. Defining and understanding the given human-computer-interaction videogame genres can be differentiated in either competitive matches or coherent plays. While artificial intelligence answers in responsive patterns only, natural intelligence holds creative qualities. A match is a game that creates suspense over the question of who is going to prevail. It can thus only be a game that features competing human players, since a computerized opponent is unaware of the game's significance. The nature of the match lies within the interactive trial. In a play, however, there is no battle but only cooperation. The aesthetics of such a play unfold to the audience, its purpose is showing rather than experiencing and/or competitively interacting. Artificial intelligence is then a surrogate that is often used in videogames to create an illusion of competition or battle. Its actual purpose is not to feature a worthy opponent, but to be a programmatic loser. In narrative and linear videogames, such as AI takes the role of a supporting actor whose function in the plot is, to signalize the player's dominance.

文摘Digital twin(DT)can achieve real-time information fusion and interactive feedback between virtual space and physical space.This technology involves a digital model,real-time information management,comprehensive intelligent perception networks,etc.,and it can drive the rapid conceptual development of intelligent construction(IC)such as smart factories,smart cities,and smart medical care.Nevertheless,the actual use of DT in IC is partially pending,with numerous scientific factors still not clarified.An overall survey on pending issues and unsolved scientific factors is needed for the development of DT-driven IC.To this end,this study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the state of the art and state of the use of DT-driven IC.The use of DT in planning,design,manufacturing,operation,and maintenance management of IC is demonstrated and analyzed,following which the driving functions of DT in IC are detailed from four aspects:information perception and analysis,data mining and modeling,state assessment and prediction,intelligent optimization and decision-making.Furthermore,the future direction of research,using DT in IC,is presented with some comments and suggestions.This work will help researchers gain in-depth and systematic understanding of the use of DT,and help practitioners to better promote its implementation in IC.

文摘We are developing a novel wearable devices called the urban intelligent fashion advertising.Such system is mobile information devices capable of supporting remote communication and intelligent interaction between terminals.In this paper,we explore the possible functions of such a wearable devices and will present the service-based architecture combing the hardware and the software.This architecture involves two major parts.The first part is hardware design,which includes microcontroller,display part,communication module,and positioning system module.The second part is software design,which is a real-time interactive system that includes signal reception,position detection,and user workload assessment.Then,we use the interactive concept and interactive technology to construct the urban fashion advertising service model,and elaborate on its business model.Finally,we present sustainability development recommendations for the proposed service model.
