Objective:To implement humanized quality care in critical respiratory failure nursing, observe the effect, and analyze the satisfaction.Methods:80 patients with severe respiratory failure were divided into 40 cases per group(admitted from February 2022 to December 2023)by double-blind method, the control group performed routine care, and the observation group was given humanized quality care. Results:After the nursing care, two respiratory function indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and two pulmonary function indexes were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);regarding the complication situation, the incidence rate of the observation group was lower(P<0.05);regarding the nursing care satisfaction situation, the observation group had a higher level of total satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of a humanized quality nursing intervention model in the care of critical respiratory failure can actively improve patients’respiratory status and lung function, reduce complications, and satisfy patients. 展开更多

This study assesses the effect of human capital expansion on China's export product quality. It employs the difference-in-differences(DID)framework based on a quasi-natural experiment investigating the 1999 higher education enrollment expansion as the exogenous policy shock. The empirical results confirm that human capital expansion appreciably improved the quality of China's export products.Human capital expansion promoted the transformation and upgrading of old products and the development of new products in term of intensive margin;it strengthened the endowment advantages of incumbent high-quality export enterprises while preventing low-quality enterprises from entering the market through price competition on the extensive margin. This prevented quality decline.Further, the study reveals that the improvement effect driven by human capital came from both innovation-induced and managerial efficiency improvement channels and was more prominent for large or foreign-funded enterprises in the eastern region. Our findings highlight the role of human capital in China's remarkable export performance from an endogenous growth perspective. 展开更多

Heavy metals are widely concerning because of their toxicity,persistence,non-degradation and bioaccumulation ability.Iluman health ambient water quality criteria(AWQC)are specific levels of chemicals that can occur in water without harming human health. At present, most countries do not consider the effects of aquatic vegetables in deriving human health AWQC.Therefore, the intake of aquatic vegetables(Brasenia schreberi)was added to the derivation of human health AWQC and a health risk assessment for 13 heavy metals in Taihu Lake. The human health AWQC(consumption of water, fish and aquatic vegetables)values of 13 heavy metals ranged from 0.04(Cd)to 710.87μg/L(Sn),and the intake of B.schreberi had a very significant effect on the human health AWQC for Cu,with a more than 62-fold difference. The hazard quotients of As(2.8),Cd(1.6),Cr(1.4)and Cu(4.86)were higher than the safe level(HQ=1),indicating that As,Cd,Cr and Cu in Taihu Lake posed a significant health risk.Sensitivity analysis showed that the contribution rate of B.schreberi intake to the human health risk from Cu was 91.6%,and all results indicated that the risk of Cu in B.schreberi to human health should be of particular concern. This study adds the consideration of aquatic vegetable consumption to the traditional method of human health AWQC derivation and risk assessments for the first time, and this approach can promote the development of risk assessments and water quality criteria. 展开更多

This thesis appraises the human resources in developed regions, relatively developed regions, moderately developed regions and underdeveloped regions in China by means of comprehensive fuzzy assessment of human resources quality. Then the interrelationship between regional economic development and human resources quality is analysed. The results can be of some value for decision making. 展开更多

Increasing Chinese urbanization and industrialization has prompted greater attention to the study of human settlement and the human-land relationship in the fields of geography, architecture, and urban planning. We used bibliometric methods and statistical software to review 180 articles on human settlement in 16 Chinese geographical journals. We found that Chinese geographical human settlement research is characterized by the following:(1) Most research focuses on human settlement extension, valuation indicators, models for urban and rural settlements, theoretical exploration and the planning practices of single-factor, human settlement and complex, geographical livability in macro-scale, urban settlement differentiation and ideal patterns in medium scale, the comprehensive evaluation of settlement environment, and the planning of community units in micro-scale, community settlements; socio-cultural investigation and warnings about advancing human settlement.(2) No progress has been made in synthesizing and integrating method systems. PSR models and DPSIR models are used for targeting mechanisms, while the standard settlement evaluation system was composed of physical & economic indicators by questionnaire surveys. On the other hand, spatial clustering based on GIS has been a frequent focus in recent years. Pioneering research on human settlement and theoretical systems within the context of China's urbanization and industrialization will provide guidance on the sustainability of Chinese cities and regions. The following five aspects require greater attention:(1) Natural suitability research on human settlement, and a survey of human settlement demands to reflect the range of different demands concerning ecologically suitable settlements in urban environments, the corresponding valuation indicators, systems, and evolution, and the impact of the residents' socio-economic attributes.(2) Spatial-temporal evaluation and sustainability research on urban and rural human settlement at various scales, focusing on evolution and spatial differen-tiation at various scales such as city clusters and comparisons between cities, within the cities and communities.(3) Development of theory and technology for human settlement evolution research, including detection technology and methods, data mining measures, and forecasting and emulation of regional and urban human settlement evolution processes, mechanisms and patterns.(4) Research on the control of human settlement that focuses on optimization, patterns, and policies for effective management and development.(5) Estimating the human settlement system service value and establishing suitable human settlement systems, including social, economic, cultural and ecological service values. 展开更多

However, the "chlorine smell" in swimming pools may be a turn-off for some people. Although this smell is often thought to be of chlorine, it actually comes from volatile compounds that are produced from unintended reactions between disinfectants (e.g., chlorine) and organic matter in the water (Li and Blatchley, 2007; Zwiener et al., 2007; Schmalz et al., 2011; Daiber et al., 2016). Body fluids, such as sweat and urine, are among the sources of this organic matter that contribute to the formation of disinfection byproducts (DBPs) (Richardson et al., 2007; Arnaud, 2016; Tang et al., 2016). 展开更多
