The hybrid matrix method preserves the numerical stability and accuracy across large and small ...This paper presents the recursive asymptotic hybrid matrix method for acoustic waves in multilayered piezoelectric media. The hybrid matrix method preserves the numerical stability and accuracy across large and small thicknesses. For discussion and comparison, the scattering matrix method is also presented in physics-based form and coherent form. The latter form resembles closely that of hybrid matrix method and helps to highlight their relationship and distinction. For both scattering and hybrid matrix methods, their formulations in terms of eigenwaves solution are provided concisely. Making use of the hybrid matrix, the recursive asymptotic method without eigenwaves solution is described and discussed. The method bypasses the intricacies of eigenvalue-eigenvector approach and requires only elementary matrix operations along with thin- layer asymptotic approximation. It can be used to determine Green’s function matrix readily and facilitates the trade-off between computation efficiency and accuracy.展开更多
In recent years,abundant words with Chinese characteristics in media translation show that on the one hand,the unique society,politics,economics and culture,and on the other hand,the important source of foreign words....In recent years,abundant words with Chinese characteristics in media translation show that on the one hand,the unique society,politics,economics and culture,and on the other hand,the important source of foreign words.According to post colonial cultural translation theory,through different hybridization tactics,they formed the third part,which is different from the source language and target language,and is the product of globalization.This notion of hybridity not only has great bearing on translators’selection of translating strategies,but also helps to change some of the accepted conception about translation,and thus enables us to have a better understanding of media translation.This promotes China’s discourse power in international society and the objectivity of reports of China,which constructs the third space in media translation between the West and China.展开更多

The system is modeled as multi-component micropolar elasti...A mixture theory is developed for multi-component micropolar porous media with a combination of the hybrid mixture theory and the micropolar continuum theory. The system is modeled as multi-component micropolar elastic solids saturated with multi- component micropolar viscous fluids. Balance equations are given through the mixture theory. Constitutive equations are developed based on the second law of thermodynamics and constitutive assumptions. Taking account of compressibility of solid phases, the volume fraction of fluid as an independent state variable is introduced in the free energy function, and the dynamic compatibility condition is obtained to restrict the change of pressure difference on the solid-fluid interface. The constructed constitutive equations are used to close the field equations. The linear field equations are obtained using a linearization procedure, and the micropolar thermo-hydro-mechanical component transport model is established. This model can be applied to practical problems, such as contaminant, drug, and pesticide transport. When the proposed model is supposed to be porous media, and both fluid and solid are single-component, it will almost agree with Eringen's model.展开更多
