Based on the shear-lag theory, a hexagonal model of fiber bundles was established to study the tensile fracture mechanism of a claviform hybrid composite rebar. Firstly, the stress redistributions are investigated on two conditions: one condition is that interfacial damage is taken into account and the other is not. Then, a micro-statistical analysis of the multiple tensile failures of the rebar was performed by using the random critical-core theory. The results indicate that the predictions of the tensile failure strains of the rebar, in which the interfacial damage is taken into account, are in better agreement with the existing experimental results than those when only elastic case is considered. Through the comparison between the theoretical and experimental results, the shear-lag theory and the model are verified feasibly in studying the claviform hybrid composite rebar. 展开更多

采用低延伸率的碳纤维和高延伸率的玻璃纤维的层内混杂方式,通过拉挤工艺生产得到了混杂CG-FRP筋.CG-FRP筋的总纤维体积率为65%,碳纤维和玻璃纤维的混杂比例为1:6.标准拉伸力学试验结果表明,CG-FRP混杂筋表现出较为明显的“屈服”现象,... 采用低延伸率的碳纤维和高延伸率的玻璃纤维的层内混杂方式,通过拉挤工艺生产得到了混杂CG-FRP筋.CG-FRP筋的总纤维体积率为65%,碳纤维和玻璃纤维的混杂比例为1:6.标准拉伸力学试验结果表明,CG-FRP混杂筋表现出较为明显的“屈服”现象,平均“屈服”强度和平均极限抗拉强度分别为1507.0MPa和1676.5MPa,后“屈服”阶段的应变量约为弹性阶段应变量的23%.CG-FRP筋的平均弹性模量为88.01GPa,平均泊松比为0.274.研究表明,该混杂筋存在较为明显的混杂效应,协同工作性能较好,筋的弹性模量和极限抗拉强度也得到了显著的提高. 展开更多

This paper presents development of 3D non-linear finite element model to simulate the response and predict the behavior of un-bonded mild steel bars under axial and bending loading. The models were successfully analyzed with the finite element software ANSYS, taking into account the nonlinear material properties of the reinforced mild steel bars. A bending strain relationship is derived based on a parametric study involving multiple nonlinear finite element models. A mild steel fracture criterion based on low-cycle fatigue models is proposed to control the total (elastic and plastic) strains in the mild steel bar below a maximum permissible limit. In addition, FE predictions of bar elongation due to strain penetration reasonably agreed with a proposed empirical equation by Raynor and Lehman. It was concluded that the equation proposed by Raynor and Lehman is considered valid for estimating the additional unbounded length and can be used in both analysis and design. 展开更多

为提升侵蚀环境下混凝土柱的受力性能,提出一种在截面周边配置GFRP纵筋和箍筋、截面中部配置钢筋和螺旋箍筋的钢筋混凝土混合配筋柱。为评价该混合配筋柱的偏心受压性能,设计了6根不同配筋形式的柱,并开展偏心受压试验,结果显示:混合配... 为提升侵蚀环境下混凝土柱的受力性能,提出一种在截面周边配置GFRP纵筋和箍筋、截面中部配置钢筋和螺旋箍筋的钢筋混凝土混合配筋柱。为评价该混合配筋柱的偏心受压性能,设计了6根不同配筋形式的柱,并开展偏心受压试验,结果显示:混合配筋柱的破坏形式为压弯破坏,破坏特征、截面应变分布规律与普通钢筋混凝土柱的相似;合理配筋的混合配筋柱的压弯承载力、挠度和延性均优于同等截面配筋率下的全GFRP筋混凝土柱的,在混合配筋柱达到峰值荷载后,受拉侧GFRP筋应力不断增长,内部纵向钢筋提供的承载能力和螺旋箍筋提供的约束发挥作用,可以保证构件承载能力缓慢下降;当混合配筋柱达到极限荷载后,荷载-跨中挠度曲线下降平缓,延性较好;混合配筋柱所增设的螺旋箍筋和内纵筋,有效地提高了混合配筋柱的压弯承载力和延性。 展开更多
