Based on the confirmed simulation model, the simulation results of pressure and flow of the hydraulic system were analyzed. The dynamic simulation method is very helpful for designing and analyzing the performance of hydraulic system and further optimization design. A new GO method for reliability analysis of such repairable systems with multifault modes was presented. Firstly, calculation equations of reliability parameters of operators which were used to describe components with multi-fault modes in reparable systems were derived based on Markov process theory. Then, this new GO method was applied in reliability analysis of a hydraulic transmission oil supply system( HTOSS) of a power-shift steering transmission at low and high speeds. However, its dynamic properties are not good enough for application. In this paper, in order to increase the output characteristics, a late-model air-powered vehicle using expansion energy is proposed which can boost energy through a pneumatic-hydraulic transmission. The dynamic characteristics of the air-powered vehicle is modeled and verified by conducting experiment. In addition,the influence of the key parameters of the air-powered vehicle is researched for the optimization of the system performance. Through the results, the author got the conclusion that, firstly, comparison of the results of model and experiment proves the built model to be effective; secondly, input air pressure should be set according to the request of the practical loads, and range of 0.65 to 0.75 MPa can be chosen; thirdly, as a key structure parameter of the airpowered vehicle, ratio of the areas is considered to be set to approximate 8; what’s more, a bigger orifice with a limit will promote the system dynamic characteristic property, and the limit is about 3.5 mm; last but not the least, not too farther position of the rings will increase the quality of output dynamic characteristics. This paper can be a reference for system design of air-powered vehicle and dynamic improvement.展开更多

A hybrid energy transmission pipeline is proposed with the aim of long-distance cooperative transmission of electricity and chemical fuels, which is composed of an inner high-temperature superconducting (HTS) power ca...A hybrid energy transmission pipeline is proposed with the aim of long-distance cooperative transmission of electricity and chemical fuels, which is composed of an inner high-temperature superconducting (HTS) power cable and outer liquefied natural gas (LNG) pipeline. The flowing LNG could maintain the operating temperature of the inner HTS power cable within the range of 85 K-90 K, thus the Bi-2223 superconductors in the HTS power cable produce little Joule loss with the transmission current below the critical current. Owing to the advantages of high power density, low transmission losses and economical manufacturing costs, the hybrid energy transmission pipeline is expected to be widely utilized in the near future. In order to ensure the safety of the HTS power cable and explosive LNG in case of short-circuit faults, this paper tests and analyzes the characteristics of Bi-2223 HTS tapes of the Type HT-CA, Type HT-SS and Type H models under short-circuit current impacts at the LNG cooling temperature (85 K-90 K). An experimental platform is designed and established for the ampacity tests of HTS tapes above LN2 cooling temperature (77 K). The AC over-current impact tests at 85 K-90 K are carried out on each sample of Bi-2223 tapes respectively, and the experimental results are analyzed and compared to evaluate their performances under different operating conditions. The results indicate that the Type HT-CA tape can withstand 50 Hz short-circuit current impact with the amplitude of 1108 A (10 times of critical current Ic ) for 100 ms at 90 K, and its resistance is the smallest of the three tested samples under similar current impacts. Therefore, the Type HT-CA Bi-2223 tape is the optimal superconductor of the HTS power cable in the hybrid energy transmission pipeline.展开更多

Hydros...Hydraulic hybrid vehicles (HHV) with secondary regulation technology has the potential of improving fuel economy by operating the engine in the optimum efficiency range and making use of regenerative braking. Hydrostatic transmission technology has the advantage of higher power density and the ability to accept the high rates and high frequencies of charging and discharging, both of which are not favorable for batteries, but the lower energy density requires special power matching design and control strategy to coordinate all the powertrain components in an optimal manner. A multi-objective optimization method is proposed to distinguish the components size values of HHV by considering the requirements of driving cycles and technology aspects. The regenerative braking strategy and energy control strategy based on the optimized HHV is proposed to recovery the braking energy and distribute the regenerated braking energy. Simulation results show that by taking the optimized configuration of HHV, adopting the regenerative braking strategy and energy control strategy are helpful to improve the system efficiency and fuel economy of HHV under urban driving cycles.展开更多

A new four-parameter shift schedule is presented, which can keep the torque converter working in the high efficiency area. The control algorithm based on the Elman recursive neural network is applied, and four-parameter control system is developed which is based on industrial computer. The system is used to collect data accurately and control 4D180 power-shift gearbox of ZL50E wheel loader shift timely. An experiment is done on automatic transmission test-bed, and the result indicates that the control system could reliably and safely work and improve the efficiency of hydraulic torque converter. Four-parameter shift strategy that takes into account the power consuming of the working pump has important operating significance and reflects the actual working status of construction vehicle.展开更多

Under low temperature condition, the coverage of the ice results in the disconnection between the aluminum tube and the steel anchor of strain clamp. Using macroscopic analysis, structure stress analysis, force analysis and mechanical property test, the fractured strain clamps are investigated. The crimping of the aluminum tube on the polished rod not on the grooves of the steel anchor leads to the damage of the strain clamps, which is defined as improper crimping. When improper crimping emerges, there will be only friction force between the aluminum tube and the steel anchor without shear force, and the tension of the conductor will be mainly supported by the steel strands which should be supported by both the aluminum tube and steel stands. Therefore, the breaking force of the strain clamp will greatly decrease. The failure analysis helps to promote the proper hydraulic crimping process and the safe operation of the transmission line.展开更多

The past studies i...Development of groundwater needs the capabilities to distinguish the different aquifer layers found in a region, and thereafter the parameters which can be used expressly to define the aquifer type. The past studies in the Olbanita sub-basin have accorded the area as having one aquifer, which has resulted into generalization of the aquifer parameters. The objective in this study is to map the main aquifer layer and determine its parameters. The use of modeled geoelectric layers from Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) data has been used in the study area to distinguish the major aquifer from the minor ones. There is noted an excellent correlation between the geoelectric layers and the lithologies as outlined by the driller’s log clearly delineating four aquifer stratums. The main aquifer is identified to be geoelectric layer 11 and 12, defined by a thickness of 30.18 m mainly of tuffs, and 17.39 m mainly of weathered phonolites. Hydraulic conductivity of the main aquifer averages value of 17.16389314 m/day, in consideration of the ranges 0.248690465 m/day to 74.62681942 m/day for the 31 VES points. For the aquifer breadth of 30.18 m, the Transmissivity values vary from a minimum of 57.32119 Ωm<sup>2</sup> to 53365.49 Ωm<sup>2</sup> and for 47.57 m breadth, the range is between 11.83021 Ωm<sup>2</sup> and 1390.921 Ωm<sup>2</sup>. The variance of longitudinal unit conductance shows that 63.15 percent of the aquifer represented by one lithology is having lowest values of S (<sup>-1</sup>), an indication that the resistivity values of these points are relatively high when compared to their corresponding breadths. Notably, where the geoelectric layer is represented by more than one lithologic layer, the longitudinal unit conductance has high values of S (~1.1 - 5.3 Ω<sup>-1</sup>) at about 83.33 percent of the aquifer, thus giving a manifestation that a change in lithology has an implication in the aquifer characteristics. The transverse resistance values have a direct proportionality to both the aquifer layer thickness and the geoelectric layer resistivities. Evidently, using the close range of resistivities record indicates that indeed transverse resistance increases with increase in aquifer thickness. For example, for resistivities 52.677 Ω, 54.78 Ω, 54.297 Ω, 57.819 Ω, and 51.85 Ω, for 30.18 m, 47.57 m, 136.35 m, 190.84 m, 277.93 m thicknesses respectively, have their correlated transverse resistances values notably rising incrementally, from 1589.7919 Ωm<sup>2</sup>, 2605.8846 Ωm<sup>2</sup>, 7403.396 Ωm<sup>2</sup>, and 11034.178 Ωm<sup>2</sup> correspondingly. There is confirmation that the modeled VES data can help map aquifers despite the limited resources of borehole logs that can used as control points.展开更多

The structure of the breakwaters can be used as coastal protection system by reducing the amount of incoming wave energy. Effect of slope, core permeability, water depth and incident wave characteristics on the stability was also studied. The breakwater model consisted of a core and two armour layers attacked by irregular waves. This paper discusses and compares the test results with the existing design equations. In general, the existing design equations do not seem to predict the wave transmission and reflection accurately for the range of test data. In the range of variable tested, it was observed that the water depth, crest width and wave period have a significant influence on wave transmission process. Further, results show strong influence of the water depth and wave period on the wave reflection process. The structural stability of low crested breakwaters is very much affected by the water depth and wave period.展开更多

When improper crimping emerges, there will be only friction force between the aluminum tube and the steel anchor without shear force, and the tension of the conductor will be mainly supported by the steel strands which should be supported by both the aluminum tube and steel stands. Therefore, the breaking force of the strain clamp will greatly decrease. The failure analysis helps to promote the proper hydraulic crimping process and the safe operation of the transmission line.

文摘According to a research on the 30kVA simulation experimental platform of hydraulic wind tur- bine, its basic structure, composition and operation principle are expounded in this paper. An in- verter motor is used to simulate the wind turbine, while a similarity calculation method is applied be- tween the small and large wind turbine. A fixed displacement pump-variable motor closed loop is used as the main transmission system, and a self-excited synchronous generator generates electricity through the grid connection. The experiment and simulation study on the speed and power control of the hydraulic wind turbine is conducted, based on the experimental platform, thus correctness and progressiveness of the experiment platform is further verified. The experimental platform study lays a foundation for further research on the characteristics of hydraulic wind turhln~

文摘Based on multidisciplinary design optimization(MDO),a new design method is put forward for hydraulic shift mechanism of heavy-duty vehicle automated manual transmission(AMT).Taking a shift cylinder for example,the collaborative optimization(CO)method for the design problem of a cylinder is devided into one system level design optimization problem and three subsystem level design optimization problems.The system level is an economic model and the subsystem level is mechanics,kinetics,and a reliability model.Application of the multidisciplinary design optimization software iSIGHT modeling and solving,optimal solution of the shifting cylinder CO model is obtained.According to the optimal solution,oil cylinders are machined out and installed on the gearbox of an AMT system for the bench cycle shift test.The results show that the output force and action speed of the optimized mechanism can meet requirements very well.In addition,the optimized mechanism has a better performance compared to the structure of the traditional design method,which indicates that the CO method can optimize the design of hydraulic transmission.
文摘Development of groundwater needs the capabilities to distinguish the different aquifer layers found in a region, and thereafter the parameters which can be used expressly to define the aquifer type. The past studies in the Olbanita sub-basin have accorded the area as having one aquifer, which has resulted into generalization of the aquifer parameters. The objective in this study is to map the main aquifer layer and determine its parameters. The use of modeled geoelectric layers from Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) data has been used in the study area to distinguish the major aquifer from the minor ones. There is noted an excellent correlation between the geoelectric layers and the lithologies as outlined by the driller’s log clearly delineating four aquifer stratums. The main aquifer is identified to be geoelectric layer 11 and 12, defined by a thickness of 30.18 m mainly of tuffs, and 17.39 m mainly of weathered phonolites. Hydraulic conductivity of the main aquifer averages value of 17.16389314 m/day, in consideration of the ranges 0.248690465 m/day to 74.62681942 m/day for the 31 VES points. For the aquifer breadth of 30.18 m, the Transmissivity values vary from a minimum of 57.32119 Ωm<sup>2</sup> to 53365.49 Ωm<sup>2</sup> and for 47.57 m breadth, the range is between 11.83021 Ωm<sup>2</sup> and 1390.921 Ωm<sup>2</sup>. The variance of longitudinal unit conductance shows that 63.15 percent of the aquifer represented by one lithology is having lowest values of S (<sup>-1</sup>), an indication that the resistivity values of these points are relatively high when compared to their corresponding breadths. Notably, where the geoelectric layer is represented by more than one lithologic layer, the longitudinal unit conductance has high values of S (~1.1 - 5.3 Ω<sup>-1</sup>) at about 83.33 percent of the aquifer, thus giving a manifestation that a change in lithology has an implication in the aquifer characteristics. The transverse resistance values have a direct proportionality to both the aquifer layer thickness and the geoelectric layer resistivities. Evidently, using the close range of resistivities record indicates that indeed transverse resistance increases with increase in aquifer thickness. For example, for resistivities 52.677 Ω, 54.78 Ω, 54.297 Ω, 57.819 Ω, and 51.85 Ω, for 30.18 m, 47.57 m, 136.35 m, 190.84 m, 277.93 m thicknesses respectively, have their correlated transverse resistances values notably rising incrementally, from 1589.7919 Ωm<sup>2</sup>, 2605.8846 Ωm<sup>2</sup>, 7403.396 Ωm<sup>2</sup>, and 11034.178 Ωm<sup>2</sup> correspondingly. There is confirmation that the modeled VES data can help map aquifers despite the limited resources of borehole logs that can used as control points.
文摘A conceptual superconducting DC cable model is designed and its magnetic fields distribution is analyzed with Ansoft/Maxwell soft. A DC Power transmission system is also studied by using the Matlab/Simulink. With the DC Line and AC Ground Fault, the system losses analysis is introduced.The analysis results mainly include the magnetic fields distribution of the HTS cable model with Ansoft/Maxwell, the system loss, the DC Line and AC Ground Fault with Matlab/Simulation.
文摘Two-dimensional physical models of low crested breakwaters were tested to establish the effect of water depth, crest width, slope, stone size, core permeability and incident wave characteristics on the wave transformation processes. The structure of the breakwaters can be used as coastal protection system by reducing the amount of incoming wave energy. Effect of slope, core permeability, water depth and incident wave characteristics on the stability was also studied. The breakwater model consisted of a core and two armour layers attacked by irregular waves. This paper discusses and compares the test results with the existing design equations. In general, the existing design equations do not seem to predict the wave transmission and reflection accurately for the range of test data. In the range of variable tested, it was observed that the water depth, crest width and wave period have a significant influence on wave transmission process. Further, results show strong influence of the water depth and wave period on the wave reflection process. The structural stability of low crested breakwaters is very much affected by the water depth and wave period.
