A silicone oil emulsion with 60% of solid content was prepared with methyl silicone oil used as the main material by means of the emulsifier-in-oil method.The influence of emulsification conditions on the droplet diam...A silicone oil emulsion with 60% of solid content was prepared with methyl silicone oil used as the main material by means of the emulsifier-in-oil method.The influence of emulsification conditions on the droplet diameter of silicone oil emulsion was discussed.The experimental results showed that the emulsification method,including the quantity of the emulsifier,the time and temperature of emulsification,the emulsifying water dosage,and the stirring speed,had significant impact on the droplet size.The optimal conditions were identified to achieve a smallest droplet diameter of the emulsion at an emulsifier dosage of 6%,an emulsification temperature of 70 ℃,an emulsification time of 30 min,and a stirring speed of 1100 r/min,with water added in two portions at a ratio of 1:1.The high-solid content silicone oil emulsion with a mean droplet diameter of 2.731 μm was prepared under these conditions that could ensure absence of stratification and floating oil under centrifuging at a speed of 3000 r/min for 30 min.展开更多

We studied the emulsifier, the dosage of emulsifier initiator, polyether/silane coupling agent, pH value. There are some results of the research indicated in the following. First, there are many factors for the hydrophilic amino-silicone softener both on the polymerization process and the performance, such as the proportion and amount of emulsifier, initiator dosage, the mass ratio of the polyether and hydrogen silicone oil, the choice of silicone coupling agent, and the ratio and dosage of polyether silicones silane coupling agent. Second, the amount of hydrogen of the hydrogen silicones and the choice of catalyst are the key points on the synthesis of polyether silicones. The amount of hydrogen should be low and the catalyst must be economical and efficient and its introduction should be small and times, other more the holding time is not too long. The next one is that, in the process of hydrolysis of silane coupling agent, we need some acid to adjust pH value, or they will be broken down. The most important one but not the last is that the epoxy group can improve the products low-temperature supple and the persistence of the finishing fabric, furthermore it can reduce yellowing and has a good stability of the inorganic salt, however, it will be destroyed if the reaction temperature for epoxy is too high. What’s more, it is very economical and environmental that the process of emulsion is simple and with less emulsifier.展开更多

Practical application of a Si anode in a high-energy-density battery cannot be achieved due to the huge volume expansion of these anodes.Researchers have focused on binders of the anode to restrict volume expansion in...Practical application of a Si anode in a high-energy-density battery cannot be achieved due to the huge volume expansion of these anodes.Researchers have focused on binders of the anode to restrict volume expansion in order to address this issue,as the hydrogen bonds and mechanical properties of binders can be used to enhance adhesion and accommodate the volume changes of a Si anode.Herein,we comprehensively consider binders’hydrogen bonds,mechanical properties,stability,and compatibility with the electrolyte solution,and design an ether-/ester-/fluorine-rich composite polymer,named P(TFEMAco-IBVE).The proposed binder formula possesses outstanding stability,adhesion,and mechanical strength;moreover,it can accommodate the dramatic volume changes of a Si electrode and exhibits excellent electrochemical performance,achieving a high areal capacity of about 5.4 mA·h·cm^(-2).This novel polymer design may be applied to other electrode materials in the next generation of lithium-ion batteries.展开更多

From the experimental quantities investigated using Tsallis’ statistics, we...In this work, we study some changes of nuclear matter in the interactions of <sup>28</sup>Si with emulsion nuclei at 4.5 AGeV/c. From the experimental quantities investigated using Tsallis’ statistics, we deduced the temperature, entropy density and non-equilibrium factor of the nuclear medium. These obtained parameters were used to reveal variations in the nuclear matter at the stated interaction energy. The results that came up from this study were compared with their corresponding results obtained from other heavy ion collision experiments at wide energy range.展开更多

This...It has been found through analysis of defect components and micrographs that "oil-burn" defects on non- oriented silicon steel surf'aces, which of ten occur after cold rolling, are composed of Fe, O, Si and C. This study analyzed the fomation mechanism of 'toil-burn" defects and the strategies to prevent them,and proposed, according to the equipment and process status in the production fields ,some relevant optimized control measures and process adjustment schemes from two perspectives of reducing the residual emulsion trod avoiding the specific temperature range. The results demonstrate that the application of the proposed optimization meastu'es effectively inhibits the formation of "oil-bum" defects.展开更多
