Image matching is one of the key technologies for digital Earth.This paper presents a combined image matching method for Chinese satellite images.This method includes the following four steps:(1)a modified Wallis-type...Image matching is one of the key technologies for digital Earth.This paper presents a combined image matching method for Chinese satellite images.This method includes the following four steps:(1)a modified Wallis-type filter is proposed to determine parameters adaptively while avoiding over-enhancement;(2)a mismatch detection procedure based on a global-local strategy is introduced to remove outliers generated by the Scale-invariant feature transform algorithm,and geometric orientation with bundle block adjustment is employed to compensate for the systematic errors of the position and attitude observations;(3)we design a novel similarity measure(distance,angle and the Normalized Cross-Correlation similarities,DANCC)which considers geometric similarity and textural similarity;and(4)we introduce a hierarchical matching strategy to refine the matching result level by level.Four typical image pairs acquired from Mapping Satellite-1,ZY-102C,ZY-3 and GeoEye-1,respectively,are used for experimental analysis.A comparison with the two current main matching algorithms for satellite imagery confirms that the proposed method is capable of producing reliable and accurate matching results on different terrains from not only Chinese satellite images,but also foreign satellite images.展开更多

The algorithm adopts Sobel operator to deal with subgraph and template image, and regards the region which has maximum relevance as final result. In order to solve time-consuming problem existing in original algorithm, a coarse-to-fine matching method is put forward. Besides, the location correlation keeps updating and remains the minimum value in the whole scanning process, which can significantly decrease time consumption. Experiments show that the algorithm proposed in this article can not only overcome gray distortion, but also ensure accuracy. Time consumption is at least one time orders of magnitude shorter than that of primal algorithm.展开更多

This method, which is demonstrated by both theoretical interpreting and computer simulation, explains how to measure the wavefront slope difference between two sub apertures through the determination of image displacements on detector plane. It includes a fast and accurate digital algorithm for detecting wavefront disturbance, which is much suitable for realization in such electrical hardwares as digital signal processors.展开更多

However, some feature points’ extraction for three-dimensional color of polar image, such as the color edge extraction, inflection points, and so on, was urgently to be solved a polar color problem. For achieving quickly and accurately the color feature extraction to polar image, this paper proposed a similar region of color algorithm. The algorithm was compared to polar image, and the effect to color extraction was also described by the combination of the proposed and existing algorithms. Moreover, this paper gave the comparison of the proposed algorithm and an existing classical algorithm to extraction of color feature. These researches in this paper provided a powerful tool for polar image classification, color feature segmentation, precise recognition, and so on.展开更多
