Because of the inevitable debugging lag,imperfect debugging process is used to replace perfect debugging process in the analysis of software reliability growth model.Considering neither testing-effort nor testing cove...Because of the inevitable debugging lag,imperfect debugging process is used to replace perfect debugging process in the analysis of software reliability growth model.Considering neither testing-effort nor testing coverage can describe software reliability for imperfect debugging completely,by hybridizing testing-effort with testing coverage under imperfect debugging,this paper proposes a new model named GMW-LO-ID.Under the assumption that the number of faults is proportional to the current number of detected faults,this model combines generalized modified Weibull(GMW)testing-effort function with logistic(LO)testing coverage function,and inherits GMW's amazing flexibility and LO's high fitting precision.Furthermore,the fitting accuracy and predictive power are verified by two series of experiments and we can draw a conclusion that our model fits the actual failure data better and predicts the software future behavior better than other ten traditional models,which only consider one or two points of testing-effort,testing coverage and imperfect debugging.展开更多
With the rapid development of emerging 5G and beyond(B5G),Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)are increasingly important to improve the performance of dense cellular networks.As a conventional metric,coverage probability ha...With the rapid development of emerging 5G and beyond(B5G),Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)are increasingly important to improve the performance of dense cellular networks.As a conventional metric,coverage probability has been widely studied in communication systems due to the increasing density of users and complexity of the heterogeneous environment.In recent years,stochastic geometry has attracted more attention as a mathematical tool for modeling mobile network systems.In this paper,an analytical approach to the coverage probability analysis of UAV-assisted cellular networks with imperfect beam alignment has been proposed.An assumption was considered that all users are distributed according to Poisson Cluster Process(PCP)around base stations,in particular,Thomas Cluster Process(TCP).Using thismodel,the impact of beam alignment errors on the coverage probabilitywas investigated.Initially,the ProbabilityDensity Function(PDF)of directional antenna gain between the user and its serving base station was obtained.Then,association probability with each tier was achieved.A tractable expression was derived for coverage probability in both Line-of-Sight(LoS)andNon-Line-of-Sight(NLoS)condition links.Numerical results demonstrated that at low UAVs altitude,beam alignment errors significantly degrade coverage performance.Moreover,for a small cluster size,alignment errors do not necessarily affect the coverage performance.展开更多
Fault tolerance designs are essential techniques for systems that require high levels of reliability,such as aircraft or spacecraft control system.Imperfect Fault Coverage(IFC)may lead to the failure of a system or su...Fault tolerance designs are essential techniques for systems that require high levels of reliability,such as aircraft or spacecraft control system.Imperfect Fault Coverage(IFC)may lead to the failure of a system or subsystem even with adequate redundancy.Previous studies of IFC mostly concentrated on evaluating Coverage Factor(CF),whereas the system failure behaviors with IFC have rarely been involved.Failures that occur in low-layer may be covered by highlayer.However,if the coverage is imperfect,uncovered failure will have functional and physical impact on the system behavior.In this thesis,the failure behavior and reliability of IFC of multi-layer systems are studied and a Binary Decision Diagram(BDD)-based modeling and simulation method are proposed to evaluate system reliability.As a case,the failure behavior of an aero engine electronic controller with IFC is studied.The results show that the IFC may impact system behavior without taking the IFC into account,the system maintenance intervals may reduce,and thus the maintenance costs will increase.展开更多
