This algorithm adjusted the inertia weight coefficients and learning factors adaptively and therefore could be used to optimize the weights in the BP network. After establishing the improved PSO-BP( IPSO-BP) model,it was applied to solve fault diagnosis of rolling bearing. Wavelet denoising was selected to reduce the noise of the original vibration signals,and based on these vibration signals a wide set of features were used as the inputs in the neural network models. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach by comparing with the traditional BP,PSO-BP and linear PSO-BP( LPSO-BP) algorithms. The experimental results show that IPSO-BP network outperforms other algorithms with faster convergence speed,lower errors,higher diagnostic accuracy and learning ability.展开更多
This paper focuses on wireless-powered communication systems,which are increasingly relevant in the Internet of Things(IoT)due to their ability to extend the operational lifetime of devices with limited energy.The mai...This paper focuses on wireless-powered communication systems,which are increasingly relevant in the Internet of Things(IoT)due to their ability to extend the operational lifetime of devices with limited energy.The main contribution of the paper is a novel approach to minimize the secrecy outage probability(SOP)in these systems.Minimizing SOP is crucial for maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data,especially in situations where the transmission of sensitive data is critical.Our proposed method harnesses the power of an improved biogeography-based optimization(IBBO)to effectively train a recurrent neural network(RNN).The proposed IBBO introduces an innovative migration model.The core advantage of IBBO lies in its adeptness at maintaining equilibrium between exploration and exploitation.This is accomplished by integrating tactics such as advancing towards a random habitat,adopting the crossover operator from genetic algorithms(GA),and utilizing the global best(Gbest)operator from particle swarm optimization(PSO)into the IBBO framework.The IBBO demonstrates its efficacy by enabling the RNN to optimize the system parameters,resulting in significant outage probability reduction.Through comprehensive simulations,we showcase the superiority of the IBBO-RNN over existing approaches,highlighting its capability to achieve remarkable gains in SOP minimization.This paper compares nine methods for predicting outage probability in wireless-powered communications.The IBBO-RNN achieved the highest accuracy rate of 98.92%,showing a significant performance improvement.In contrast,the standard RNN recorded lower accuracy rates of 91.27%.The IBBO-RNN maintains lower SOP values across the entire signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)spectrum tested,suggesting that the method is highly effective at optimizing system parameters for improved secrecy even at lower SNRs.展开更多
In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data traffic.Meanwhile,with the...In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data traffic.Meanwhile,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication paradigm.However,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic information.With the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to increase.In contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image transmission.However,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its application.To overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this work.The IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of images.Experimental segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray images and natural images from the Matlab and Berkeley Segmentation Datasets.The IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.展开更多
A hard problem that hinders the movement of waxy crude oil is wax deposition in oil pipelines.To ensure the safe operation of crude oil pipelines,an accurate model must be developed to predict the rate of wax depositi...A hard problem that hinders the movement of waxy crude oil is wax deposition in oil pipelines.To ensure the safe operation of crude oil pipelines,an accurate model must be developed to predict the rate of wax deposition in crude oil pipelines.Aiming at the shortcomings of the ENN prediction model,which easily falls into the local minimum value and weak generalization ability in the implementation process,an optimized ENN prediction model based on the IRSA is proposed.The validity of the new model was confirmed by the accurate prediction of two sets of experimental data on wax deposition in crude oil pipelines.The two groups of crude oil wax deposition rate case prediction results showed that the average absolute percentage errors of IRSA-ENN prediction models is 0.5476% and 0.7831%,respectively.Additionally,it shows a higher prediction accuracy compared to the ENN prediction model.In fact,the new model established by using the IRSA to optimize ENN can optimize the initial weights and thresholds in the prediction process,which can overcome the shortcomings of the ENN prediction model,such as weak generalization ability and tendency to fall into the local minimum value,so that it has the advantages of strong implementation and high prediction accuracy.展开更多

Its system reliability and autonomous fault diagnosis are particularly important and can provide the basis for underwater vehicles to take corresponding security policy in a failure. Aiming at the characteristics of the underwater vehicle which has uncertain system and modeling difficulty, an improved Elman neural network is introduced which is applied to the underwater vehicle motion modeling. Through designing self-feedback connection with fixed gain in the unit connection as well as increasing the feedback of the output layer node, improved Elman network has faster convergence speed and generalization ability. This method for high-order nonlinear system has stronger identification ability. Firstly, the residual is calculated by comparing the output of the underwater vehicle model(estimation in the motion state) with the actual measured values. Secondly, characteristics of the residual are analyzed on the basis of fault judging criteria. Finally, actuator fault diagnosis of the autonomous underwater vehicle is carried out. In the non-linear microwave drying process, the incremental improved back-propagation (BP) neural network and response surface methodology (RSM) were used to build a predictive model of the combined effects of ind...In the non-linear microwave drying process, the incremental improved back-propagation (BP) neural network and response surface methodology (RSM) were used to build a predictive model of the combined effects of independent variables (the microwave power, the acting time and the rotational frequency) for microwave drying of selenium-rich slag. The optimum operating conditions obtained from the quadratic form of the RSM are: the microwave power of 14.97 kW, the acting time of 89.58 min, the rotational frequency of 10.94 Hz, and the temperature of 136.407 ℃. The relative dehydration rate of 97.1895% is obtained. Under the optimum operating conditions, the incremental improved BP neural network prediction model can predict the drying process results and different effects on the results of the independent variables. The verification experiments demonstrate the prediction accuracy of the network, and the mean squared error is 0.16. The optimized results indicate that RSM can optimize the experimental conditions within much more broad range by considering the combination of factors and the neural network model can predict the results effectively and provide the theoretical guidance for the follow-up production process.展开更多

Parkinson’s disease is a neurogenerative disorder and it is difficult to diagnose as no therapies may slow down its progression.This paper contributes a novel analytic system for Parkinson’s Disease Prediction mecha...Parkinson’s disease is a neurogenerative disorder and it is difficult to diagnose as no therapies may slow down its progression.This paper contributes a novel analytic system for Parkinson’s Disease Prediction mechanism using Improved Radial Basis Function Neural Network(IRBFNN).Particle swarm optimization(PSO)with K-means is used to find the hidden neuron’s centers to improve the accuracy of IRBFNN.The performance of RBFNN is seriously affected by the centers of hidden neurons.Conventionally K-means was used to find the centers of hidden neurons.The problem of sensitiveness to the random initial centroid in K-means degrades the performance of RBFNN.Thus,a metaheuristic algorithm called PSO integrated with K-means alleviates initial random centroid and computes optimal centers for hidden neurons in IRBFNN.The IRBFNN uses Particle swarm optimization K-means to find the centers of hidden neurons and the PSO K-means was designed to evaluate the fitness measures such as Intracluster distance and Intercluster distance.Experimentation have been performed on three Parkinson’s datasets obtained from the UCI repository.The proposed IRBFNN is compared with other variations of RBFNN,conventional machine learning algorithms and other Parkinson’s Disease prediction algorithms.The proposed IRBFNN achieves an accuracy of 98.73%,98.47%and 99.03%for three Parkinson’s datasets taken for experimentation.The experimental results show that IRBFNN maximizes the accuracy in predicting Parkinson’s disease with minimum root mean square error.展开更多
Plant species recognition is an important research area in image recognition in recent years.However,the existing plant species recognition methods have low recognition accuracy and do not meet professional requiremen...Plant species recognition is an important research area in image recognition in recent years.However,the existing plant species recognition methods have low recognition accuracy and do not meet professional requirements in terms of recognition accuracy.Therefore,ShuffleNetV2 was improved by combining the current hot concern mechanism,convolution kernel size adjustment,convolution tailoring,and CSP technology to improve the accuracy and reduce the amount of computation in this study.Six convolutional neural network models with sufficient trainable parameters were designed for differentiation learning.The SGD algorithm is used to optimize the training process to avoid overfitting or falling into the local optimum.In this paper,a conventional plant image dataset TJAU10 collected by cell phones in a natural context was constructed,containing 3000 images of 10 plant species on the campus of Tianjin Agricultural University.Finally,the improved model is compared with the baseline version of the model,which achieves better results in terms of improving accuracy and reducing the computational effort.The recognition accuracy tested on the TJAU10 dataset reaches up to 98.3%,and the recognition precision reaches up to 93.6%,which is 5.1%better than the original model and reduces the computational effort by about 31%compared with the original model.In addition,the experimental results were evaluated using metrics such as the confusion matrix,which can meet the requirements of professionals for the accurate identification of plant species.展开更多

Against the fault type of elevator door system: elevator door opened, excessive vibration when elevator door opened or closed, elevator door did not open or closed when reached the specified level. Three fault types were used as the output of the prediction model. There were 8 reasons for the failure, used them as input. A model based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and BP neural network was established, using MATLAB to emulation;the results showed that: PSO-BP neural network algorithm was feasible in the fault prediction of the elevator door system.展开更多

To address this issue, a density peaks-based adaptive fuzzy neural network(DP-AFNN) is proposed in this study. To obtain suitable fuzzy rules, a DP-based clustering method is applied to fit the cluster centers to process nonlinearity.The parameters of the extracted fuzzy rules are fine-tuned based on the improved Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm during the training process. Furthermore, the analysis of convergence is performed to guarantee the successful application of the DPAFNN. Finally, the proposed DP-AFNN is utilized to develop the models of EC and EQ in the WWTP. The experimental results show that the proposed DP-AFNN can achieve fast convergence speed and high prediction accuracy in comparison with some existing methods.展开更多

Aiming at the characteristics of the underwater vehicle which has uncertain system and modeling difficulty, an improved Elman neural network is introduced which is applied to the underwater vehicle motion modeling. Through designing self-feedback connection with fixed gain in the unit connection as well as increasing the feedback of the output layer node, improved Elman network has faster convergence speed and generalization ability. This method for high-order nonlinear system has stronger identification ability. Firstly, the residual is calculated by comparing the output of the underwater vehicle model(estimation in the motion state) with the actual measured values. Secondly, characteristics of the residual are analyzed on the basis of fault judging criteria. Finally, actuator fault diagnosis of the autonomous underwater vehicle is carried out. The results of the simulation experiment show that the method is effective.

文摘In the non-linear microwave drying process, the incremental improved back-propagation (BP) neural network and response surface methodology (RSM) were used to build a predictive model of the combined effects of independent variables (the microwave power, the acting time and the rotational frequency) for microwave drying of selenium-rich slag. The optimum operating conditions obtained from the quadratic form of the RSM are: the microwave power of 14.97 kW, the acting time of 89.58 min, the rotational frequency of 10.94 Hz, and the temperature of 136.407 ℃. The relative dehydration rate of 97.1895% is obtained. Under the optimum operating conditions, the incremental improved BP neural network prediction model can predict the drying process results and different effects on the results of the independent variables. The verification experiments demonstrate the prediction accuracy of the network, and the mean squared error is 0.16. The optimized results indicate that RSM can optimize the experimental conditions within much more broad range by considering the combination of factors and the neural network model can predict the results effectively and provide the theoretical guidance for the follow-up production process.
文摘Firstly, the early warning index system of coal mine safety production was given from four aspects as per- sonnel, environment, equipment and management. Then, improvement measures which are additional momentum method, adaptive learning rate, particle swarm optimization algorithm, variable weight method and asynchronous learning factor, are used to optimize BP neural network models. Further, the models are applied to a comparative study on coal mine safety warning instance. Results show that the identification precision of MPSO-BP network model is higher than GBP and PSO-BP model, and MPSO- BP model can not only effectively reduce the possibility of the network falling into a local minimum point, but also has fast convergence and high precision, which will provide the scientific basis for the forewarnin~ management of coal mine safetv production.
文摘Parkinson’s disease is a neurogenerative disorder and it is difficult to diagnose as no therapies may slow down its progression.This paper contributes a novel analytic system for Parkinson’s Disease Prediction mechanism using Improved Radial Basis Function Neural Network(IRBFNN).Particle swarm optimization(PSO)with K-means is used to find the hidden neuron’s centers to improve the accuracy of IRBFNN.The performance of RBFNN is seriously affected by the centers of hidden neurons.Conventionally K-means was used to find the centers of hidden neurons.The problem of sensitiveness to the random initial centroid in K-means degrades the performance of RBFNN.Thus,a metaheuristic algorithm called PSO integrated with K-means alleviates initial random centroid and computes optimal centers for hidden neurons in IRBFNN.The IRBFNN uses Particle swarm optimization K-means to find the centers of hidden neurons and the PSO K-means was designed to evaluate the fitness measures such as Intracluster distance and Intercluster distance.Experimentation have been performed on three Parkinson’s datasets obtained from the UCI repository.The proposed IRBFNN is compared with other variations of RBFNN,conventional machine learning algorithms and other Parkinson’s Disease prediction algorithms.The proposed IRBFNN achieves an accuracy of 98.73%,98.47%and 99.03%for three Parkinson’s datasets taken for experimentation.The experimental results show that IRBFNN maximizes the accuracy in predicting Parkinson’s disease with minimum root mean square error.

文摘Plant species recognition is an important research area in image recognition in recent years.However,the existing plant species recognition methods have low recognition accuracy and do not meet professional requirements in terms of recognition accuracy.Therefore,ShuffleNetV2 was improved by combining the current hot concern mechanism,convolution kernel size adjustment,convolution tailoring,and CSP technology to improve the accuracy and reduce the amount of computation in this study.Six convolutional neural network models with sufficient trainable parameters were designed for differentiation learning.The SGD algorithm is used to optimize the training process to avoid overfitting or falling into the local optimum.In this paper,a conventional plant image dataset TJAU10 collected by cell phones in a natural context was constructed,containing 3000 images of 10 plant species on the campus of Tianjin Agricultural University.Finally,the improved model is compared with the baseline version of the model,which achieves better results in terms of improving accuracy and reducing the computational effort.The recognition accuracy tested on the TJAU10 dataset reaches up to 98.3%,and the recognition precision reaches up to 93.6%,which is 5.1%better than the original model and reduces the computational effort by about 31%compared with the original model.In addition,the experimental results were evaluated using metrics such as the confusion matrix,which can meet the requirements of professionals for the accurate identification of plant species.

文摘In order to accomplish the task of object recognition in natural scenes,a new object recognition algorithm based on an improved convolutional neural network(CNN)is proposed.First,candidate object windows are extracted from the original image.Then,candidate object windows are input into the improved CNN model to obtain deep features.Finally,the deep features are input into the Softmax and the confidence scores of classes are obtained.The candidate object window with the highest confidence score is selected as the object recognition result.Based on AlexNet,Inception V1 is introduced into the improved CNN and the fully connected layer is replaced by the average pooling layer,which widens the network and deepens the network at the same time.Experimental results show that the improved object recognition algorithm can obtain better recognition results in multiple natural scene images,and has a higher degree of accuracy than the classical algorithms in the field of object recognition.

文摘The virtual synchronous generator(VSG)technology has been proposed to address the problem of system frequency and active power oscillation caused by grid-connected new energy power sources.However,the traditional voltage-current double-closed-loop control used in VSG has the disadvantages of poor disturbance immunity and insufficient dynamic response.In light of the issues above,a virtual synchronous generator voltage outer-loop control strategy based on improved linear autonomous disturbance rejection control(ILADRC)is put forth for consideration.Firstly,an improved first-order linear self-immunity control structure is established for the characteristics of the voltage outer loop;then,the effects of two key control parameters-observer bandwidthω_(0)and controller bandwidthω_(c)on the control system are analyzed,and the key parameters of ILADRC are optimally tuned online using improved gray wolf optimizer-radial basis function(IGWO-RBF)neural network.A simulationmodel is developed using MATLAB to simulate,analyze,and compare the method introduced in this paper.Simulations are performed with the traditional control strategy for comparison,and the results demonstrate that the proposed control method offers superior anti-interference performance.It effectively addresses power and frequency oscillation issues and enhances the stability of the VSG during grid-connected operation.
文摘Nowadays, the elevator has become an indispensable means of indoor transportation in people’s life, but in recent years this kind of traffic tools has caused many casualties because of the gate system fault. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the elevator, the failure of elevator door system was predicted in this paper. Against the fault type of elevator door system: elevator door opened, excessive vibration when elevator door opened or closed, elevator door did not open or closed when reached the specified level. Three fault types were used as the output of the prediction model. There were 8 reasons for the failure, used them as input. A model based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and BP neural network was established, using MATLAB to emulation;the results showed that: PSO-BP neural network algorithm was feasible in the fault prediction of the elevator door system.

文摘Due to the complex and changeable environment under water,the performance of traditional DOA estimation algorithms based on mathematical model,such as MUSIC,ESPRIT,etc.,degrades greatly or even some mistakes can be made because of the mismatch between algorithm model and actual environment model.In addition,the neural network has the ability of generalization and mapping,it can consider the noise,transmission channel inconsistency and other factors of the objective environment.Therefore,this paper utilizes Back Propagation(BP)neural network as the basic framework of underwater DOA estimation.Furthermore,in order to improve the performance of DOA estimation of BP neural network,the following three improvements are proposed.(1)Aiming at the problem that the weight and threshold of traditional BP neural network converge slowly and easily fall into the local optimal value in the iterative process,PSO-BP-NN based on optimized particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is proposed.(2)The Higher-order cumulant of the received signal is utilized to establish the training model.(3)A BP neural network training method for arbitrary number of sources is proposed.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is proved by comparing with the state-of-the-art algorithms and MUSIC algorithm.
文摘In order to increase drilling speed in deep complicated formations in Kela-2 gas field, Tarim Basin, Xinjiang, west China, it is important to predict the formation lithology for drilling bit optimization. Based on the conventional back propagation (BP) model, an improved BP model was proposed, with main modifications of back propagation of error, self-adapting algorithm, and activation function, also a prediction program was developed. The improved BP model was successfully applied to predicting the lithology of formations to be drilled in the Kela-2 gas field.

文摘Rolling dynamic compaction(RDC),which involves the towing of a noncircular module,is now widespread and accepted among many other soil compaction methods.However,to date,there is no accurate method for reliable prediction of the densification of soil and the extent of ground improvement by means of RDC.This study presents the application of artificial neural networks(ANNs) for a priori prediction of the effectiveness of RDC.The models are trained with in situ dynamic cone penetration(DCP) test data obtained from previous civil projects associated with the 4-sided impact roller.The predictions from the ANN models are in good agreement with the measured field data,as indicated by the model correlation coefficient of approximately 0.8.It is concluded that the ANN models developed in this study can be successfully employed to provide more accurate prediction of the performance of the RDC on a range of soil types.

文摘Modeling of energy consumption(EC) and effluent quality(EQ) are very essential problems that need to be solved for the multiobjective optimal control in the wastewater treatment process(WWTP). To address this issue, a density peaks-based adaptive fuzzy neural network(DP-AFNN) is proposed in this study. To obtain suitable fuzzy rules, a DP-based clustering method is applied to fit the cluster centers to process nonlinearity.The parameters of the extracted fuzzy rules are fine-tuned based on the improved Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm during the training process. Furthermore, the analysis of convergence is performed to guarantee the successful application of the DPAFNN. Finally, the proposed DP-AFNN is utilized to develop the models of EC and EQ in the WWTP. The experimental results show that the proposed DP-AFNN can achieve fast convergence speed and high prediction accuracy in comparison with some existing methods.
文摘Target maneuver trajectory prediction plays an important role in air combat situation awareness and threat assessment.To solve the problem of low prediction accuracy of the traditional prediction method and model,a target maneuver trajectory prediction model based on phase space reconstruction-radial basis function(PSR-RBF)neural network is established by combining the characteristics of trajectory with time continuity.In order to further improve the prediction performance of the model,the rival penalized competitive learning(RPCL)algorithm is introduced to determine the structure of RBF,the Levenberg-Marquardt(LM)and the hybrid algorithm of the improved particle swarm optimization(IPSO)algorithm and the k-means are introduced to optimize the parameter of RBF,and a PSR-RBF neural network is constructed.An independent method of 3D coordinates of the target maneuver trajectory is proposed,and the target manuver trajectory sample data is constructed by using the training data selected in the air combat maneuver instrument(ACMI),and the maneuver trajectory prediction model based on the PSR-RBF neural network is established.In order to verify the precision and real-time performance of the trajectory prediction model,the simulation experiment of target maneuver trajectory is performed.The results show that the prediction performance of the independent method is better,and the accuracy of the PSR-RBF prediction model proposed is better.The prediction confirms the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method and model.
文摘To understand the complexity of the mathematical models of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) and their shortage of practical PEMFC control, the PEMFC complex mechanism and the existing PEMFC models are analyzed, and artificial neural networks based PEMFC modeling is advanced. The structure, algorithm, training and simulation of PEMFC modeling based on improved BP networks are given out in detail. The computer simulation and conducted experiment verify that this model is fast and accurate, and can be used as a suitable operational model for PEMFC real-time control.
