A delayed predator-prey model concerning impulsive spraying pesticides and releasing natural enemies is proposed and investigated,in which both the prey and the predator have a history that takes them through two stages:immature and mature.The global attractiveness of the pest-eradication periodic solution is discussed,and sufficient condition is obtained for the permanence of the system.Further,numerical simulations show that there is a characteristic sequence of bifurcations leading to a chaotic dynamics,which implies that the system with constant periodic impulsive perturbations admits rich and complex dynamics. 展开更多

In this paper, a delayed ratio-dependent Holling-III predator-prey system with stagestructured and impulsive stocking on prey and continuous harvesting on predator is considered. The authors obtain sufficient conditions of the global attractivity of predator-extinction periodic solution and the permanence of the system. These' results show that the behavior of impulsive stocking on prey plays an important role for the permanence of the system. The authors also prove that all solutions of the system are uniformly ultimately bounded. The results show that the biological resource management is effective and reliable. In addition, dispersal processes often involve with time delay. In view of these facts, a single species model with impulsive diffusion and dispersal delay is formulated. By the stroboscopic map of the discrete dynamical system and other analysis methods, the permanence of the system is investigated. Moreover, sufficient conditions on the existence and uniqueness of a positive periodic solution for the system are derived from the intermediate value theorem. We also demonstrate the global stability of the positive periodic solution by the theory of discrete dynamical system. Finally, numerical simulations and discussion are presented to validate our theoretical results. 展开更多

Considering the influence of sublethal concentration of pesticides on pests and natural enemies,we propose a pest-management model with impulsive effect on chemical control and biological control strategies periodic spraying pesticide and releasing predatory natural enemies.By using the Floquet theory and the comparison theorem of impulsive differential equations,a sufficient condition for the global asymptotic stability of the pest-eradication periodic solution is obtained.The persistence of the system is further studied,and a sufficient condition for the persistence of the system is obtained.Finally,some numerical simulations are shown to verify our theoretical works.Our works indicate that the sublethal effects of insecticides and the release of predatory natural enemies play significant roles in pest control in agricultural production. 展开更多
