The goal of anomaly detection in artificial intelligence is to identify illustrations that deviate significantly from the main distribution of data or that differ from known cases. Anomalous nodes in node-attributed networks can be identified with greater precision if both graph and node attributes are taken into account. Almost all of the studies in this area focus on supervised techniques for spotting outliers. While supervised algorithms for anomaly detection work well in theory, they cannot be applied to real-world applications owing to a lack of labelled data. Considering the possible data distribution, our model employs a dual variational autoencoder (VAE), while a generative adversarial network (GAN) assures that the model is robust to adversarial training. The dual VAEs are used in another capacity: as a fake-node generator. Adversarial training is used to ensure that our latent codes have a Gaussian or uniform distribution. To provide a fair presentation of the graph, the discriminator instructs the generator to generate latent variables with distributions that are more consistent with the actual distribution of the data. Once the model has been learned, the discriminator is used for anomaly detection via reconstruction loss which has been trained to distinguish between the normal and artificial distributions of data. First, using a dual VAE, our model simultaneously captures cross-modality interactions between topological structure and node characteristics and overcomes the problem of unlabeled anomalies, allowing us to better understand the network sparsity and nonlinearity. Second, the proposed model considers the regularization of the latent codes while solving the issue of unregularized embedding techniques that can quickly lead to unsatisfactory representation. Finally, we use the discriminator reconstruction loss for anomaly detection as the discriminator is well-trained to separate the normal and generated data distributions because reconstruction-based loss does not include the adversarial component. Experiments conducted on attributed networks demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and show that it greatly surpasses the previous methods. The area under the curve scores of our proposed model for the BlogCatalog, Flickr, and Enron datasets are 0.83680, 0.82020, and 0.71180, respectively, proving the effectiveness of the proposed model. The result of the proposed model on the Enron dataset is slightly worse than other models;we attribute this to the dataset’s low dimensionality as the most probable explanation.展开更多

Detecting this disease typically requires radiologists to examine chest X-rays and report their findings to physicians, a task susceptible to human error. The application of Deep Transfer Learning (DTL) for the identification of pneumonia through chest X-rays is hindered by a shortage of available images, which has led to less than optimal DTL performance and issues with overfitting. Overfitting is characterized by a model’s learning that is too closely fitted to the training data, reducing its effectiveness on unseen data. The problem of overfitting is especially prevalent in medical image processing due to the high costs and extensive time required for image annotation, as well as the challenge of collecting substantial datasets that also respect patient privacy concerning infectious diseases such as pneumonia. To mitigate these challenges, this paper introduces the use of conditional generative adversarial networks (CGAN) to enrich the pneumonia dataset with 2690 synthesized X-ray images of the minority class, aiming to even out the dataset distribution for improved diagnostic performance. Subsequently, we applied four modified lightweight deep transfer learning models such as Xception, MobileNetV2, MobileNet, and EfficientNetB0. These models have been fine-tuned and evaluated, demonstrating remarkable detection accuracies of 99.26%, 98.23%, 97.06%, and 94.55%, respectively, across fifty epochs. The experimental results validate that the models we have proposed achieve high detection accuracy rates, with the best model reaching up to 99.26% effectiveness, outperforming other models in the diagnosis of pneumonia from X-ray images.展开更多

The attempt to meet the increasing energy demand means that the interest for the integration of renewable energy sources in the existing power system is growing, but such integration poses challenges to the operating stability. Power converters play a major role in the evolution of power system towards SmartGrids, by regulating as virtual synchronous generators. The concept of virtual synchronous generators requires an energy storage system with power converters to emulate virtual inertia similar to the dynamics of traditional synchronous generators. In this paper, a dynamic droop control for the estimation of fundamental reference sources is implemented in the control loop of the converter, including active and reactive power components acting as a mechanical input to the virtual synchronous generator and the virtual excitation controller. An inertia coefficient and a droop coefficient are implemented in the control loop. The proposed controller uses a current synchronous detection scheme to emulate a virtual inertia from the virtual synchronous generators. In this study, a wave energy converter as the power source is used and a power management of virtual synchronous generators to control the frequency deviation and the terminal voltage is implemented. The dynamic control scheme based on a current synchronous detection scheme is presented in detail with a power management control. Finally, we carried out numerical simulations and verified the scheme through the experimental results in a microgrid structure.展开更多

文摘Damage to parcels reduces customer satisfactionwith delivery services and increases return-logistics costs. This can be prevented by detecting and addressing the damage before the parcels reach the customer.Consequently, various studies have been conducted on deep learning techniques related to the detection of parcel damage. This study proposes a deep learning-based damage detectionmethod for various types of parcels.Themethod is intended to be part of a parcel information-recognition systemthat identifies the volume and shipping information of parcels, and determines whether they are damaged;this method is intended for use in the actual parcel-transportation process. For this purpose,1)the study acquired image data in an environment simulating the actual parcel-transportation process, and 2)the training dataset was expanded based on StyleGAN3 with adaptive discriminator augmentation.Additionally,3)a preliminary distinction was made between the appearance of parcels and their damage status to enhance the performance of the parcel damage detection model and analyze the causes of parcel damage. Finally, using the dataset constructed based on the proposed method,a damage type detection model was trained, and its mean average precision was confirmed. This model can improve customer satisfaction and reduce return costs for parcel delivery companies.
文摘Network security problems bring many imperceptible threats to the integrity of data and the reliability of device services,so proposing a network intrusion detection model with high reliability is of great research significance for network security.Due to the strong generalization of invalid features during training process,it is more difficult for single autoencoder intrusion detection model to obtain effective results.A network intrusion detection model based on the Ensemble of Denoising Adversarial Autoencoder(EDAAE)was proposed, which had higher accuracy and reliability compared to the traditional anomaly detection model.Using the adversarial learning idea of Adversarial Autoencoder(AAE),the discriminator module was added to the original model, and the encoder part was used as the generator. The distribution of the hidden space of the data generated by the encoder matched with the distribution of the original data. The generalization of the model to the invalid features was also reduced to improve the detection accuracy. At the same time, the denoising autoencoder and integrated operation was introduced to prevent overfitting in the adversarial learning process.Experiments on the CICIDS2018 traffic dataset showed that the proposed intrusion detection model achieves an Accuracy of 95.23%,which out performs traditional self-encoders and other existing intrusion detection models methods in terms of overall performance.

文摘Credit Card Fraud Detection(CCFD)is an essential technology for banking institutions to control fraud risks and safeguard their reputation.Class imbalance and insufficient representation of feature data relating to credit card transactions are two prevalent issues in the current study field of CCFD,which significantly impact classification models’performance. To address these issues, this research proposes a novel CCFD model based on Multifeature Fusion and Generative Adversarial Networks(MFGAN).The MFGAN model consists of two modules:a multi-feature fusion module for integrating static and dynamic behavior data of cardholders into a unified highdimensional feature space, and a balance module based on the generative adversarial network to decrease the class imbalance ratio. The effectiveness of theMFGAN model is validated on two actual credit card datasets. The impacts of different class balance ratios on the performance of the four resamplingmodels are analyzed, and the contribution of the two different modules to the performance of the MFGAN model is investigated via ablation experiments.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model does better than state-of-the-art models in terms of recall,F1,and Area Under the Curve(AUC)metrics, which means that the MFGAN model can help banks find more fraudulent transactions and reduce fraud losses.
文摘Pneumonia ranks as a leading cause of mortality, particularly in children aged five and under. The experimental results validate that the models we have proposed achieve high detection accuracy rates, with the best model reaching up to 99.26% effectiveness, outperforming other models in the diagnosis of pneumonia from X-ray images.
文摘Sarcasm detection in text data is an increasingly vital area of research due to the prevalence of sarcastic content in online communication. This study addresses challenges associated with small datasets and class imbalances in sarcasm detection by employing comprehensive data pre-processing and Generative Adversial Network(GAN)based augmentation on diverse datasets, including iSarcasm,SemEval-18,and Ghosh. This research offers a novel pipeline for augmenting sarcasm data with Reverse Generative Adversarial Network(RGAN).The proposed RGAN method works by inverting labels between original and synthetic data during the training process. This inversion of labels provides feedback to the generator for generating high-quality data closely resembling the original distribution.Notably, the proposed RGAN model exhibits performance on par with standard GAN,showcasing its robust efficacy in augmenting text data. The exploration of various datasets highlights the nuanced impact of augmentation on model performance, with cautionary insights into maintaining a delicate balance between synthetic and original data. The methodological framework encompasses comprehensive data pre-processing and GAN-based augmentation, with a meticulous comparison against Natural Language Processing Augmentation(NLPAug)as an alternative augmentation technique.Overall, the F1-score of our proposed technique outperforms that of the synonym replacement augmentation technique using NLPAug.The increase in F1-score in experiments using RGAN ranged from 0.066%to 1.054%,and the use of standard GAN resulted in a 2.88%increase in F1-score.The proposed RGAN model outperformed the NLPAug method and demonstrated comparable performance to standard GAN,emphasizing its efficacy in text data augmentation.

文摘Renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic wind turbines, and wave power converters, use power converters to connect to the grid which causes a loss in rotational inertia. Finally, we carried out numerical simulations and verified the scheme through the experimental results in a microgrid structure.

文摘The in-core self-powered neutron detector(SPND)acts as a key measuring device for the monitoring of parameters and evaluation of the operating conditions of nuclear reactors.Prompt detection and tolerance of faulty SPNDs are indispensable for reliable reactor management. To completely extract the correlated state information of SPNDs,we constructed a twin model based on a generalized regression neural network(GRNN)that represents the common relationships among overall signals.Faulty SPNDs were determined because of the functional concordance of the twin model and real monitoring sys-tems,which calculated the error probability distribution between the model outputs and real values.Fault detection follows a tolerance phase to reinforce the stability of the twin model in the case of massive failures.A weighted K-nearest neighbor model was employed to reasonably reconstruct the values of the faulty signals and guarantee data purity. The experimental evaluation of the proposed method showed promising results, with excellent output consistency and high detection accuracy for both single-and multiple-point faulty SPNDs.For unexpected excessive failures, the proposed tolerance approach can efficiently repair fault behaviors and enhance the prediction performance of the twin model.

文摘In underground mining, the belt is a critical component,as its state directly affects the safe and stable operation of the conveyor. Most of the existing non-contact detection methods based on machine vision can only detect a single type of damage and they require pre-processing operations. This tends to cause a large amount of calculation and low detection precision. To solve these problems,in the work described in this paper a belt tear detection method based on a multi-class conditional deep convolutional generative adversarial network(CDCGAN)was designed. In the traditional DCGAN,the image generated by the generator has a certain degree of randomness. Here,a small number of labeled belt images are taken as conditions and added them to the generator and discriminator,so the generator can generate images with the characteristics of belt damage under the aforementioned conditions. Moreover, because the discriminator cannot identify multiple types of damage, the multi-class softmax function is used as the output function of the discriminator to output a vector of class probabilities, and it can accurately classify cracks, scratches, and tears. To avoid the features learned incompletely, skiplayer connection is adopted in the generator and discriminator. This not only can minimize the loss of features, but also improves the convergence speed.Compared with other algorithms, experimental results show that the loss value of the generator and discriminator is the least. Moreover, its convergence speed is faster, and the mean average precision of the proposed algorithm is up to 96.2%,which is at least 6%higher than that of other algorithms.

文摘Detecting anomaly logs is a great significance step for guarding system faults.Due to the uncertainty of abnormal log types, lack of real anomaly logs and accurately labeled log datasets.Existing technologies cannot be enough for detecting complex and various log point anomalies by using human-defined rules. We propose a log anomaly detection method based on Generative Adversarial Networks(GAN).This method uses the Encoder-Decoder framework based on Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)network as the generator, takes the log keywords as the input of the encoder, and the decoder outputs the generated log template. The discriminator uses the Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)to identify the difference between the generated log template and the real log template. The model parameters are optimized automatically by iteration. In the stage of anomaly detection, the probability of anomaly is calculated by the Euclidean distance.Experiments on real data show that this method can detect log point anomalies with an average precision of 95%.Besides,it outperforms other existing log-based anomaly detection methods.
文摘Aiming at the problem that the detection effect of traditional edge detection algorithm is not good, and the problem that the existing edge detection algorithm based on convolution network cannot solve the thick edge problem from the model itself, this paper proposes a new edge detection method based on the generative adversarial network. The confrontation network consists of generator network and discriminator network, generator network is composed of U-net network and discriminator network is composed of five-layer convolution network. In this paper,we use BSDS500 training data set to train the model. Finally, several images are randomly selected from BSDS500 test set to compare with the results of traditional edge detection algorithm and HED algorithm. The results of BSDS500 benchmark test show that the ODS and OIS indices of the proposed method are 0.779 and 0.782 respectively, which are much higher than those of traditional edge detection algorithms, and the indices of HED algorithm using non-maximum suppression are similar.

文摘Islanding detection is an essential function for safety and reliability in grid-connected distributed generation (DG) systems. Several methods for islanding detection are proposed, but most of them may fail under multi-source configurations, or they may produce important power quality degradation which gets worse with increasing DG penetration. This paper presents an active islanding detection algorithm for Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) based multi-source DG systems. The proposed method is based on the Voltage Positive Feedback (VPF) theory to generate a limited active power perturbation. Theoretical analyses were performed and simulations by MATLAB /Simulink /SimPowerSystems were used to evaluate the algorithm’s performance and its advantages concerning the time response and the effects on power quality, which turned out to be negligible. The algorithm performance was tested under critical conditions: load with unity power factor, load with high quality factor, and load matching DER’s powers.
