The effects of vermicompost on the agronomic characters and yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco were investigated. The results showed that, the field growth periods of various treatments were 117-118 d, 1-2 days longer than that of the CK. The numbers of effective leaves of the treatments applied with vermicompost were 0.1-0.3 leaf more than the CK. The highest yield and the highest proportion of high-grade tobacco occurred in treatment 3 as 2 095.5 kg/m^2 and 49%, respectively, which were higher than those in the CK by 6.58 kg and 5.3%. In conclusion, the treatment with the application of vermicompost at 7 500-10 500 kg/hm^2 was the best. 展开更多

The yield characters and quality characters of several new cotton varieties in the mid-south area of Hebei Province were comprehensively evaluated in this pa- per. In different ecological environments, the single-boll weight of tested cotton vari- eties had the biggest variation coefficient among yield characters and micronaire value had the biggest variation coefficient among fiber quality characters. Path analy- sis indicated that the direct path coefficients of various characters had the flowing order, lint percentage〉 number of bolls per plant〉 single-boll weight〉 seed index among yield components and uniformity index 〉 fiber specific strength〉 micronaire value〉 elongation rate〉 upper half staple length among fiber quality characters. Principal component analysis indicated that the top three principal components contributed 8.263% of accumulated variance, basically reflecting the vast majority of informations of 10 main characters in tested cotton varieties. 展开更多

Genetic Differences and Selection of Major Nutritional Quality Characters in Millet

[Objective] The aim was to enhance specificity and efficiency of quality breeding of millet. [Method] Difference analysis, correlation analysis, principal compo- nent analysis, and path analysis were conducted on nutritional quality characters of 29 millet varieties. [Result] Variance coefficients of nutritional quality characters among different varieties were in descending order of crude protein 〉 crude fiber 〉 fat 〉 water 〉 total carbohydrate. The results of correlation analysis suggested that crude protein exhibited extremely significant negative correlation with total carbohydrate (correlation coefficient of -0.822 4) and significantly negative correlation with fat (correlation coefficient of -0.380 7); the rest characters showed no significant correla- tion. In addition, according to PCA and path analysis, four characters, including crude protein, fat, total carbohydrate and crude fiber, determined 97.35% of variance of nutritional quality and could be taken as references for selection of breeding ma- terials, with a determination coefficient of 1.000 0. Fat and carbohydrate were typical nutritional quality characters of breeding materials, which should be selected in low generation. However, crude protein and crude fiber should be selected for millet in high generation. Objective] This study was conducted to discuss growth characteristics and partial production and quality characters of different varieties, so as to provide can-didates for tobacco production as wel as a theoretical basis for variety deployment in Guizhou. [Method] ‘K326’ was used as control, the experiment for variance analysis of growth characteristics and partial production and quality characters of dif-ferent tobacco varieties was carried out in Fengsan Town, Kaiyang County, Guizhou Province in 2015. [Result] GY8 grew faster in early stages and slower in late stages, the growth periods of GY2 (130 d) and GY5(129 d) were the longest, while those of Yun85 (121 d) and Yun87 (121 d) were the shortest; and GY2, GY5 and GY8 had larger plant heights, maximum leaf widths and maximum leaf areas, and Yun85, Yun87 and K326 showed larger stem girths and maximum leaf lengths. Yun87 exhibited lower natural incidences of diseases, while Yun85 and GY8 showed higher incidences of diseases. GY2, GY5 and GY8 had higher nicotine, total nitro-gen, K and Cl contents, while Yun85, Yun87 and K326 had higher total sugar and reducing sugar contents and higher total sugar/nicotine ratio. Yun85 and Yun87 showed better economic characters, while GY5 and GY8 showed poorer economic characters. [Conclusion] Yun85 and Yun87 have quality characters better than GY2 and GY8, field natural incidences of diseases lower than GY2 and GY8, and better economic characters, and thus could serve as candidates in future flue-cured tobac-co production in Guizhou. 展开更多

Swelling Index of Glutenin (SIG) Related to Protein Quality, DoughCharacters and Noodle Quality

The swelling index of glutenin (SIG) and the protein fraction of 25 Chinese wheat varieties were studied with new protein fractions extracting method. The protein fractions compose of monomeric protein, soluble glutenin and insoluble glutenin. The relations between other protein index, dough character, and fresh noodle quality were also discussed. The SIG results at different time is positively and highly significantly related to the insoluble glutenin content (r= 0.808 -0.867, P< 0.01). The SIG result can reflect the insoluble glutenin content. The protein content, gluten index, farinograph stability time, extensibility length and extensigram energy were positively and significantly correlated with SIG5 and SIG20 (r= 0.516 - 0.734, P<0.05, 0.01).SIG proved to be applicable in Chinese wheat dough evaluation. Fresh noodle making quality parameters were evaluated by fresh noodle length, thickness, maximum resistance to extension, extension area and extension distance, while cooked noodle texture was determined by cutting firmness, compression recovery, surface firmness and TPA by using a texture analyzer of TA.XT2i. The noodle cooking quality was significantly correlated with SIG value. The surface firmness and cutting firmness were more desirable for predicating the quality difference than TPA test and compression. Cooking loss and water absorption were negatively related to SIG value and insoluble content (r = -0.556 - - 0.787, P < 0.05, 0.01). The results showed that SIG test was also suitable in evaluating noodle making and cooking quality in very small sample size, which was very important in wheat breeding programs. Therefore, SIG test, as a small scale test, is suitable to evaluate dough rheological properties for Chinese wheat varieties, and will be helpful in cereal research and wheat breeding program, especially, in early generations. 展开更多

[Objectives]The paper was to study the effects of different herbicides on weed control,agronomic characters and grain quality of Coix lacryma-jobi L.[Methods]Six commonly used herbicides were selected for the trial,including atrazine SC,butachlor SC,monosulfuron WP,MCPA-starane EC,clopyralid AS and tribenuron-methyl WP.[Results](i)Atrazine,butachlor and monosulfuron had no chemical injury to C.lacryma-jobi L.,while clopyralid caused slight chemical injury.(ii)The fresh weight control effects of atrazine,butachlor and monosulfuron on weeds increased first and then decreased.The initial control effect of MCPA-starane and clopyralid reached more than 90%;the control effect of monosulfuron increased gradually in the late stage,reaching 97%at 60 d post spraying,and the overall control effect was optimal.(iii)Compared with manual weeding,herbicides had no significant effect on plant height of C.lacryma-jobi L.However,compared with no weeding,other herbicides except tribenuron-methyl inhibited plant growth to a certain extent.Herbicides had different effects on main stem diameter,tiller number per plant and grain number per plant of C.lacryma-jobi L.(iv)Different herbicides had no significant effect on 100-grain weight,but had significant effect on yield.(v)Compared with manual weeding,atrazine,butachlor and clopyralid decreased the protein content of C.lacryma-jobi L.,and the use of atrazine,butachlor,monosulfuron,MCPA-starane and tribenuron-methyl decreased the fat content of C.lacryma-jobi L.;butachlor and MCPA-starane decreased the glycerol trioleate content of C.lacryma-jobi L.Compared with no weeding,chemical herbicides had no significant effect on the protein content,while atrazine decreased the fat content,and butachlor and MCPA-starane decreased the glycerol trioleate content of C.lacryma-jobi L.[Conclusions]The use of herbicides significantly increases crop yield compared with no weeding,but has an impact on agronomic characters and grain quality. 展开更多

Incomplete diallel crosses were made by using six male sterile lines (Zhenshan 97A, Erjiuqing A, Erjiunan 1A, V20A, Zhe’nan 1A and Zhe’nan 3A)as females and three restorer lines(Cezao 2-2, T49 and 26715)as males. Sampled seeds were used to measure the cooking quality characters, including amylose content(%), gelatinization temperature(alkali spreading score)and gel consistency(mm). Identification of Quality Characteristics of Sun-cured Tobacco Leaves

[Objective] The aim was to explore tobacco varieties which satisfy tobacco formula and is suitable to be grown in ecotopes simultaneously. [Method] Interior and exterior qualities of tobacco were compared and identified based on agronomic and economic characters of tobacco in fields. [Result] Yunshai No.1 was better in both agronomic and economic characters. Specifically, the fragrance was dominated by empyreumatique and aroma; the highly-qualified variety is fragrant and sweet, with little irritation, which gives the tobacco smoke a light, mild flavor. As for Virgini- a934, economic characters were better, but agronomic characters were just ordinary. Similar to Yunshai No.l, dominated by empyreumatique and aroma, the variety was with distinctive resin and herbaceous fragrance. What's more, it tasted good with high quality and usability. Cunsanpi was ordinary in agronomic characters, and poor in economic characters, with coordinated quality and chemical composition. It is fra- grant and the smoke is clean. However, the quality was not so high and it tasted not so good. Tengruan No.2 was good in agronomic characters, but poor in eco- nomic characters, which gives delicate fragrance, but not clean enough. Waiweiba and Mijie Qinggeng neither taste well nor smell sweet, performing ordinary in agro- nomic and economic characters. Hence, the two varieties seem bad in quality and ranks poorly. [Conclusion] In terms of sensory quality, the varieties from high to low were Yunshai No.1, Virginia 934, Cunsanpi, Tengruan No.2, Waiweiba and Mijie Qinggeng. 展开更多

Effects of DPC on Agronomic Traits and Economic Characters of Machine-Harvested Cotton in the Yellow River Valley of China and Chemical Control Techniques 被引量:3

[Objective] The aim was to investigate the effects of DPC chemical controlling technique on agronomic traits, yield and quality of machine-harvested cotton in the Yellow River Valley of China, and clarify the reasonable control period and the application amount of DPC. [Method] The new machine-harvested cotton variety Hengmian HD008 was used as the test material, and 3 different DPC treatments were set. [Result] DPC significantly reduced plant height and branch length, reduced branch angle and leaf area, so the rational control can effectively shape the ideal plant type of machine-harvested cotton. DPC had significant effects on yield and yield components, and the proper amount of DPC could increase the number of bolls during hot days, the number bolls in autumn and the total number of bolls. It increased the boll weight and seed index, but decreased lint percentage decreased, and proper amount of DPC could increase the yield. DPC significantly increased the specific breaking strength of fibers, and proper control could improve the uniformity of fibers, but other indexes had no significant influence. [Conclusion] According to the requirements of machine harvest to the agronomic traits of cotton and the growth characteristics of cotton plant, chemical control could begin after floral bud emergence in cotton about every 10 d, and the spraying amount can be controlled according to the growth amount of the main stem. The daily growth amount of plant height should be controlled at 1.5-1.8 cm, and the plant height should be within 75-90 cm. 展开更多

Purpose: To evaluate personality characteris- tics’ impact upon outcome after silicone-based MP arthroplasty in RA patients. Methods: 40 RA patients who had undergone operations on their MP joints were investigated in a one-year fol- low-up. Objective measurement to assess grip strength and active range of motion—Paper- pencil-tests to assess pain during activity and at rest performance, QoL, and personality. Results: Significant improvement was observed in func- tion and pain related scores except for the pain related VAS and in several QoL facets and do- mains. Patients who experienced improvement reported higher scores on the activities of daily living facet of the WHO QoL questionnaire. Those with lower pain showed more independ- ence. The variance of the QoL domain scores, other than social and physical domains, could substantially and meaningfully be explained by variance of objective measures combined with personality scores. Conclusions: Most RA pa- tients’ QoL can be improved by MP arthroplasty despite remaining substantial level of pain. NS and HA seem to play an important role in the adaptation process during the long term, chronic illness;whereas SD represents a tool of coping with the burden of pain and disability. Personal- ity characteristics are highly predictive for QoL suggesting their important mediating role be- tween experienced pain and disability and HR QoL. 展开更多

In the research,36 spring wheat cultivars from Xinjiang were used to investigate flour yield,ash content,color,granularity,flour quality,paste quality and gelatinization property and to evaluate processing quality and characters of stretched noodle,in order to explore relationship of milling flour quality with quality property of Xinjiang spring wheat and with processing quality of Xinjiang hand-stretched noodle,which provides theoretical references for improvement of Xinjiang spring wheat cultivars,breeding of specific cultivars(for Xinjiang stretched noodles),and advancement of stretched noodles.The results indicated that flour color is dominant among flour quality properties of Xinjiang spring wheat,which is of significant correlation with processing quality of stretched noodles.Therefore,in quality improvement of Xinjiang stretched noodles,flour yield of Xinjiang wheat should be enhanced and ash content and damaged starch should be reduced in order to improve quality of flour and stretched noodles from Xinjiang spring wheat.The indices of milling flours for Xinjiang stretched noodles are as follows:flour yield ≥60.77%,ash content ≤ 0.45%,damaged starch≤3.77%,granularity ≤108.14%,brightness(L^*)≥ 90.86,redness(a^*)≥-0.82,and yellowness(b^*) ≤9.00. 展开更多

Stopping draining cash gangue age limit over 25 a and herbage abundance CO3p level was regarded as IV gangue hill. GGE Biplot Analyses for Grain Quality and Yield of Durum Wheat (Triticum turgidum ssp. durum Desf.) Landraces Populations

The aim of this study was to determine the GY (grain yield) and some quality characters of durum wheat landraces under Thrace Region ecological conditions. This study was carried out in randomized complete blocks design with three replications in the locations of Tekirdag, Edirne, Klrklareli and Lüleburgaz during the growing years of 2009 and 2010. In the research, 20 durum wheat landraces obtained from different regions of Turkey and 5 obsolete durum wheat cultivars were used as the experimental material. It was determined that the GY, TW (test weight) and PC (protein content) in the first year were higher than the second year in this study. The highest values for GY, TGW (thousand grain weight), and TW and GVR (grain vitreousness rate) were determined in Tekirdag location, while the highest PC was determined in Edirne location. The results of the research showed that GY varied between 321.17-470.33 kg da^-1 in Tekirdag, 301.33-404.00 kg da^-1 in Edirne;197.50-334.67 kg da^-1 in K?rklareli and 280.00-501.33 kg da^-1 in Lüleburgaz. TGWs were determined between 38.17-44.50 g of Tekirdag, 36.00-43.00 g of Edirne, 38.43-43.67 g of Karklareli and 35.33-45.67 g of Lüleburgaz. TW of Tekirdag, Edirne, Karklareli and Lüleburgaz locations changed between 74.67-79.33 kg hl^-1, 69.33-76.83 kg hl^-1, 70.00-75.17 kg hl^-1 and 71.00-77.50 kg hl^-1, respectively. The GVR was determined among 85.00-96.83% in Tekirdag, 68.33-93.33% in Edirne, 67.83-93.83% in Klrklareli, and 85.17-98.17% in Lüleburgaz. The PC of grains was measured among 13.32-14.95% in Tekirdag, 14.90-16.25% in Edirne, 14.27-16.17% in K?rklareli, and 13.40-16.53% in Lüleburgaz. It was determined that Dicle and Dicle-13 landraces for GY and TW, Adlyaman landrace for TGW,Canakkale and Akbugday landraces for the GVR, and Iskenderun, Akbu?day, Erzincan landraces for PC have the highest values. 展开更多

[Objectives]To establish a quality analysis method for Guangxi Zhuang medicine Lysimachia foenum-graecum Hance.[Methods]The moisture,total ash and alcohol-soluble extracts of L.foenum-graecum medicinal materials were determined in accordance with the inspection method of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2015).[Results]The 10 batches of L.foenum-graecum medicinal materials from different origins and different collection times in Guangxi all had the same plant morphology and medicinal properties.The moisture content was 5.69%-10.51%,the total ash content was 5.50%-8.61%,the acid-insoluble ash content was 0.42%-0.78%,and the extract was 15.28%-20.75%.[Conclusions]This study is expected to provide a scientific basis for the development and utilization of L.foenum-graecum medicinal materials and the establishment of its quality standards. 展开更多

浙江省3个油橄榄主栽品种果实表型与品质性状分析

为摸清油橄榄Olea europaea引入浙江栽植后的表现,以3个主栽品种‘城固32号’O.uropaeain‘Chenggu32’‘鄂植8号’O.uropaeain‘Ezhi 8’和‘豆果’O.uropaeain‘Arbequina’的果实为材料,测定不同成熟度下的果实表型和品质性状,并采... 为摸清油橄榄Olea europaea引入浙江栽植后的表现,以3个主栽品种‘城固32号’O.uropaeain‘Chenggu32’‘鄂植8号’O.uropaeain‘Ezhi 8’和‘豆果’O.uropaeain‘Arbequina’的果实为材料,测定不同成熟度下的果实表型和品质性状,并采用方差分析、相关性分析和主成分分析法确定最佳采收期及果实表型与品质性状的差异性。结果表明,3个品种果实的成熟时间不同,成熟时间从早到晚依次为‘城固32号’(9月18日)、‘鄂植8号’(10月7日)和‘豆果’(10月28日);3个品种果实的成熟期也不同,分别为28 d(‘城固32号’)、47d(‘鄂植8号’)和68d(‘豆果’);根据鲜果质量和含油率确定‘城固32号’‘鄂植8号’和‘豆果’的最佳采收期分别为第5成熟度、第4成熟度和第5成熟度;方差分析结果表明,3个油橄榄品质性状在品种间差异显著(P<0.05),同一品种不同成熟度也存在显著差异(P<0.05);相关性分析分析结果表明,油橄榄果实表型性状间和品质性状间存在显著相关性,通过果实表型性状可以推测果实品质的差异;通过油橄榄果实品质性状主成分分析结果表明,前三个主成分的特征值最大,分别为5.88、3.52和2.16,累积贡献率达到88.86%。本文研究结果有助于通过不同油橄榄品种的表型性状差异来推断果实品质性状的差异性,可为浙江油橄榄品种引种工作提供重要参考。 展开更多

作为学术共同体的重要组成部分,高质量的学术期刊是助推高校“双一流”建设的重要引擎。然而,“双一流”建设背景下,高校学术期刊高质量发展面临困局。其中,国家“双一流”建设的顶层制度设计对高校学术期刊的高质量发展观照不足,高校... 作为学术共同体的重要组成部分,高质量的学术期刊是助推高校“双一流”建设的重要引擎。然而,“双一流”建设背景下,高校学术期刊高质量发展面临困局。其中,国家“双一流”建设的顶层制度设计对高校学术期刊的高质量发展观照不足,高校学术期刊的角色定位在曲折中发展,在资助政策下成长;主办高校对学术期刊支持不够,存在高校科研评估与期刊建设理性、主办高校对外“窗口”与学术公共“平台”、特色发展与集约规范管理等对立冲突,高校学术期刊的基层实践成效不佳。因此,应以“双一流”建设为契机,促进高校学术期刊的高质量发展与“双一流”建设良性互动,积极构建有利于高校学术期刊高质量发展的生态圈层,重塑高校学术期刊的角色定位。在顶层设计上,指引学术期刊深度参与“双一流”建设的发展定位;在中层支持上,强化主办高校统筹“学术期刊和学科发展”互融互促学术共同体建设的主体责任;在基层创新上,提升高校学术期刊在助力“双一流”建设实践中的学科贡献力和学术引领力。 展开更多

基于GT双标图对小麦新品系的分类评价

为了从产量、品质方面准确评价旱肥地试验小麦新品系,以2020—2021年连续2年参加国家黄淮冬麦区旱地组多点比较试验的26份新品系为材料,应用多元统计方法分析了大田条件下2年间产量和品质性状的变化。结果表明:26份品系的产量和品质性状... 为了从产量、品质方面准确评价旱肥地试验小麦新品系,以2020—2021年连续2年参加国家黄淮冬麦区旱地组多点比较试验的26份新品系为材料,应用多元统计方法分析了大田条件下2年间产量和品质性状的变化。结果表明:26份品系的产量和品质性状2年变异系数分别为2.0%~74.2%和2.1%~95.1%,变异较大,变异系数大小顺序依次为稳定时间>湿面筋含量>蛋白质含量>吸水率=单位面积产量>容重;相关分析表明,2年产量与品质性状存在负相关关系,稳定时间均与蛋白质含量、吸水量正相关,稳定时间与产量负相关,其中稳定时间与蛋白质含量相关系数均较高。在相关分析的基础上,采用聚类分析方法将2年中26份小麦参试品系聚为4类,并在主成分品种、性状(genotype by trait,GT)双标图(biplot)和聚类图中进行展示,聚类结果与新品系的实际表现一致,其中‘泰科麦4835’‘洛旱35’‘农大162’‘山农611436’连续2年划为同一类型,表现为产量较高、品质优良。该研究结果可为参试新品系的合理评价和推广应用提供理论依据。 展开更多
