Following the review of a previous study of customer satisfaction and with the help of experiential level theory,this article attempts to establish a Satisfaction Factors Model for researching customer satisfaction with industry applications. We chose a product named "Mobile Monitor" and investigated the emotional satisfaction of 127 users and company leaders from different walks of life,and showed that 7 of the product's features affected the customers' overall emotional satisfaction. Lastly,this paper points out management implications of this application based on quantitative results. It presents a preliminary exploration program for customer satisfaction research in this specific field. The empirical research on a specific product based on experimental level theory may serve as a reference for other companies that desire to carry out similar surveys in future.展开更多

The weld electrode of Ni_3Al based alloy has been fabricated and used in the protection against cavitation erosion of big blade of hydraulic turbine in Sanmenxia Hydropower Station. Ni_3Al based alloys exhibit superproperties in the situation of high temperature over 1200℃, for example, in the work condition of flame tube of jet. Visible light communication(VLC)has a paramount role in industrial implementations,especially for better energy efficiency,high speed-data rates,and low susceptibility to interference.However,since studies on VLC for ...Visible light communication(VLC)has a paramount role in industrial implementations,especially for better energy efficiency,high speed-data rates,and low susceptibility to interference.However,since studies on VLC for industrial implementations are in scarcity,areas concerning illumination optimisation and communication performances demand further investigation.As such,this paper presents a new modelling of light fixture distribution for a warehouse model to provide acceptable illumination and communication performances.The proposed model was evaluated based on various semi-angles at half power(SAAHP)and different height levels for several parameters,including received power,signal to noise ratio(SNR),and bit error rate(BER).The results revealed improvement in terms of received power and SNR with 30 Mbps data rate.Various modulations were studied to improve the link quality,whereby better average BER values of 5.55×10^(−15) and 1.06×10^(−10) had been achieved with 4 PAM and 8 PPM,respectively.The simulation outcomes are indeed viable for the practical warehouse model.展开更多

In the quest for a more sustainable and efficient separation, solvent-resistant nanofiltration(SRNF) has emerged as a promising answer. This is because SRNF is a membrane-based process which offers the key advantages of high efficacy and low energy intensity separation. In particular, polymer-based membranes can offer compelling opportunities for SRNF with unprecedented cost-effectiveness. As a result, intensive research efforts have been devoted into developing novel polymer-based membranes with solvent-resistant capacities as well as exploring potential applications in different types of industries. In this review, we aim to give an overview of the recent progress in the development of the state-of-the-art polymer-based membranes for SRNF in the first section. Emerging nanomaterials for mixed matrix and thin film nanocomposite membranes are also covered in this section. This is followed by a discussion on the current status of membrane engineering and SRNF membrane commercialization. In the third section, we highlight recent efforts in adopting SRNF for relevant industrial applications such as food, bio-refinery, petrochemical, fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries followed by separations of enantiomers in stereochemistry, homogeneous catalysis and ionic liquids. In the research, the scientific concepts of IT applica- tion, urbanization, agricultural modernization and industrialization were illustrated and the interrelations were analyzed, with measures on harmonized development pro- posed based on existing problems.

文摘Separation of organic mixture is an inevitable process in most modern industrial processes. In the quest for a more sustainable and efficient separation, solvent-resistant nanofiltration(SRNF) has emerged as a promising answer. This is because SRNF is a membrane-based process which offers the key advantages of high efficacy and low energy intensity separation. In particular, polymer-based membranes can offer compelling opportunities for SRNF with unprecedented cost-effectiveness. As a result, intensive research efforts have been devoted into developing novel polymer-based membranes with solvent-resistant capacities as well as exploring potential applications in different types of industries. In this review, we aim to give an overview of the recent progress in the development of the state-of-the-art polymer-based membranes for SRNF in the first section. Emerging nanomaterials for mixed matrix and thin film nanocomposite membranes are also covered in this section. This is followed by a discussion on the current status of membrane engineering and SRNF membrane commercialization. In the third section, we highlight recent efforts in adopting SRNF for relevant industrial applications such as food, bio-refinery, petrochemical, fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries followed by separations of enantiomers in stereochemistry, homogeneous catalysis and ionic liquids. Finally, we offer a perspective and provide deeper insights to help shape future research direction in this very important field of SRNF.

文摘Owing to its low cost,short process and low energy consumption,semi-solid processing(SSP)of aluminum(Al)and magnesium(Mg)alloys has been considered as a competitive approach to fabricate complicated components with excellent performance.Over the past decade,significant progress has been achieved in deeply understanding the SSP process,the microstructure and performance of the fabricated components in China.This paper starts with a retrospective overview of some common slurry preparation methods,followed by presenting the performance and the underlying mechanisms of SSP fabricated alloys.Then,the mainstream opinions on the microstructure evolution and rheological flow behavior of semi-solid slurry are discussed.Subsequently,the general situation and some recent examples of industrial applications of SSP are presented.Finally,special attention is paid to the unresolved issues and the future directions in SSP of Al and Mg alloys in China.
