Study and Countermeasures on Safety Control of Traditional Chinese Medicines Industry Chain

I'm very grateful to Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and DIA for their elaborate organization,so that we are able to participate in the Sino-Europe Symposium.Yesterday and today,several professors have talked about various aspects.It is true that the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine is important,and safety is equally important.For this reason,our laboratory works on the effective test,and at the same time,since 2001,we have been focusing on the safety of traditional Chinese medicines,especially the research on exogenous pollution.Today,I would like to share with you some of the quality control of the whole industry chain of traditional Chinese medicine and some of our thoughts.

Distribution patterns and industry planning of commonly used traditional Chinese medicinal plants in China

Medicinal plants are the primary material basis for disease prevention and treatment in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).The conservation and sustainable utilization of these medicinal plants is critical for the development of the TCM industry.However,wild medicinal plant resources have sharply declined in recent decades.To ameliorate the shortage of medicinal plant resources,it is essential to explore the development potential of the TCM industry in different geographical regions.For this purpose,we examined the spatial distribution of commonly used medicinal plants in China,the number of Chinese medicinal material markets,and the number of TCM decoction piece enterprises.Specifically,multispecies superimposition analysis and Thiessen polygons were used to reveal the optimal range for planting bulk medicinal plants and the ideal regions for building Chinese medicinal material markets,respectively.Furthermore,we quantitatively analyzed mismatches between the spatial distribution of commonly used medicinal plant richness,Chinese medicinal material markets,and TCM decoction piece enterprises.We found that the areas suitable for growing commonly used medicinal plants in China were mainly distributed in Hengduan Mountain,Nanling Mountain,Wuling Mountain,and Daba Mountain areas.The Thiessen polygon network based on Chinese medicinal material market localities showed there are currently fewer markets in southwestern,northwestern,and northeastern China than in central and southern China.TCM decoction piece enterprises are concentrated in a few provinces,such as Hebei and Jiangxi.We found that the distribution of commonly used medicinal plants,Chinese medicinal material markets and TCM decoction piece enterprises are mismatched in Henan,Shaanxi,Hunan,Hubei,Zhejiang,Fujian,Chongqing,and Xizang.We recommend strengthening development of the TCM industry in Henan,Hunan,Zhejiang,Shaanxi,Hubei,Chongqing,Fujian,and Xizang;building more Chinese medicinal material markets in southwestern,northwestern,and northeastern China;and establishing medicinal plant nurseries in resource-rich provinces to better protect and domesticate local medicinal plants.

Problems in the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials Planting Industry in Shiyan City and Countermeasures

Through the analysis on the cultivation advantages and development problems of traditional Chinese medicinal planting industry in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, some measures were proposed to enlarge and enhance the traditional Chinese medicinal planting industry, namely, large-scale, standardized, market-oriented and regionalized planting, thereby making it the pillar industry for farmers to increase income.

Quality 4.0 technologies to enhance traditional Chinese medicine for overcoming healthcare challenges during COVID-19

The Quality 4.0 concept is derived from the industrial fourth revolution,i.e.,Industry 4.0.Quality 4.0 is the future of quality,where new digital and disruptive technologies are used to maintain quality in organizations.It is also suitable for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)to maintain quality.This quality revolution aims to improve industrial and service sectors’quality by incorporating emerging technologies to connect physical systems with the natural world.The proposed digital philosophy can update and enhance the entire TCM treatment methodology to become more effective and attractive in the current competitive structure of the pharmaceutical and clinical industries.Thus,in healthcare,this revolution empowers quality treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic.There is a major requirement in healthcare to maintain the quality of medical tools,equipment,and treatment processes during a pandemic.Digital technologies can widely be used to provide innovative products and services with excellent quality for TCM.In this paper,we discuss the significant role of Quality 4.0 and how it can be used to maintain healthcare quality and fulfill challenges during the pandemic.Additionally,we discuss 10 significant applications of Quality 4.0 in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic.These technologies will provide unique benefits to maintain the quality of TCM throughout the treatment process.With Quality 4.0,quality can be maintained using innovative and advanced digital technologies.

Reason Analysis and Risk Prevention of Soaring Price of Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials

In recent years,the price of traditional Chinese medicinal materials soars continuously,and the resulting price risk increasingly looms large,which has critically affected midstream and downstream industries and peoples' demand for drug,and imperiled healthy and orderly development of traditional Chinese medicinal industries.Based on the status quo of continuous skyrocketing price of traditional Chinese medicinal materials at present,we winkle out the root cause of soaring price as follows:the supply and demand lose balance;the production costs hike up;there are other factors responsible for soaring price.This paper further analyses the impact of sharp increase in price of traditional Chinese medicinal materials on all links of industry chain as follows:the medicinal herb growers never benefit from soaring price;the counterfeiters and forgers in midstream industry increase;the gross profit rate of Chinese medicine enterprises declines.In accordance with the risk arising from abnormal fluctuation in price of traditional Chinese medicinal materials,corresponding precautionary measures are put forward as follows:promote the quality of traditional Chinese medicinal materials through management of value chain;curtail the production and management cost of traditional Chinese medicinal materials through management of organization chain;stabilize price of traditional Chinese medicinal materials through management of information chain;reduce transaction cost of traditional Chinese medicinal materials through management of logistics chain.

牛蒡产业现状与发展战略

系统总结中国牛蒡产业的基本情况,运用优势、劣势、机会和威胁(SWOT)分析法,并通过多专家评价法对得到的因素加以筛选、检验。中国牛蒡产业发展应当采取依靠内部优势利用外部机会的机会性开拓型战略(S-O战略),且从方位判断,外部机会更为明显。在利用外部机会、发挥自身优势的基础上采取产品多元化发展战略、拓展国际市场战略和科技推动战略来推动中国牛蒡产业的高效发展。

“三高四新”战略下基于创新中药现代产业学院的复合型拔尖人才培养路径研究

研究生教育作为我国高等教育体系的重要组成部分,是高层次人才培养的重要途径。该文拟以“三高四新”伟大战略为方向,以创新中药现代产业学院为依托,从搭建产教融合新平台、组建研究生创新导学团队、注重学生实践能力培养、创新研究生培养考核评价机制四个方面进行中医药院校药学类研究生人才培养模式重构,并予以实施,以期培养具有过硬综合素质、较强创新能力和科学研究能力的复合型拔尖中药研究人才。

面向地方中药产业需求的课程改革——以中药分析为例

以思政教育为背景、产业需求为导向,探讨专业核心课程教学改革的新路径。作者以中药分析课程教学为例,针对人才培养中存在的课程教学与中药产业衔接性不强问题,从课程思政、理论资源、实践资源、创新创业四方面进行四段式教学模式改革,构建中药分析课程全方面教学新模式。该课程教学模式的改革不仅提高了学生学习的积极性,同时培养了学生独立思考、协调合作、解决问题及创新创业的能力,也提升了学生对中药分析课程的兴趣,进一步改善了课程的教学质量。

“四链”融合:留学生中医药文化国际传播体系构建与实践

中医药文化是开启中华文明宝库的钥匙之一,习近平总书记强调要“深入发掘中医药宝库中的精华,推动中医药走向世界”。近年来,尽管中医药文化的国际传播受到越来越多的关注,但仍面临传播路径碎片化、传播效果浅层化以及留学生对中医药文化认同度不高等挑战。本文旨在贯彻习近平总书记关于中医药发展的重要论述,通过构建“四链”融合的中医药文化国际传播体系,有效解决上述问题,提升中医药文化在海外的传播效能,并增强留学生对中医药文化的认同感。

Interactions between gut microbiota and berberine,a necessary procedure to understand the mechanisms of berberine

Berberine(BBR),an isoquinoline alkaloid,has been found in many plants,such as Coptis chinensis Franch and Phellodendron chinense Schneid.Although BBR has a wide spectrum of pharmacological effects,its oral bioavailability is extremely low.In recent years,gut microbiota has emerged as a cynosure to understand the mechanisms of action of herbal compounds.Numerous studies have demonstrated that due to its low bioavailability,BBR can interact with the gut microbiota,thereby exhibiting altered pharmacological effects.However,no systematic and comprehensive review has summarized these interactions and their corresponding influences on pharmacological effects.Here,we describe the direct interactive relationships between BBR and gut microbiota,including regulation of gut microbiota composition and metabolism by BBR and metabolization of BBR by gut microbiota.In addition,the complex interactions between gut microbiota and BBR as well as the side effects and personalized use of BBR are discussed.Furthermore,we provide our viewpoint on future research directions regarding BBR and gut microbiota.This review not only helps to explain the mechanisms underlying BBR activity but also provides support for the rational use of BBR in clinical practice.

The History of Saffron in China:From Its Origin to Applications

Saffron(Stigma Croci)is an autumn-flowering perennial plant,and its use has a history of over 3500 years.Saffron has often been considered as the costliest medicinal plant,a premium spice,and the best dye with a golden yellowish color.Iran currently produces the finest quality saffron and dominates its global production(>90%).Other countries such as Australia,Canada,the USA,China,and some countries in Central Africa,produce saffron at a lower yield.In China,saffron is celebrated as“red gold”owing to the red stigmas of the flower and its price,which is comparable to the price of gold.Saffron has been one of the most attractive traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)herbs in the Zhong Guo Yao Dian(《中国药典》Chinese Pharmacopoeia)since its inclusion in the 2005 edition.The earliest use of saffron in TCM was recorded in the Ben Cao Shi Yi(《本草拾遗》Supplement to Materia Medica)written during the Tang dynasty(741 A.D.).However,saffron grown in inland China has been widely mistaken as originating from Tibet.This is because its Chinese name begins with“Xi”or“Zang,”which sounds similar to its Tibetan name(“Xi Zang”).In this review,we clarify the origin of saffron and its introduction to China and summarize its various applications.

Interviews on the Cooperation between Hainan and Macao region in the TCM Industry to Promote Hainan’s TCM Industry

Objective To develop the internationalization and modernization of Hainan’s TCM industry,explore the development direction and fill in the research gap.Methods Design qualitative approaches,including fieldwork,semi-structured interviews,and policy analysis,were employed to identify development challenges for the cooperation between Hainan and Macao region in TCM industry.Ten interviews with key TCM industry stakeholders in Hainan and Macao region were conducted in 2020.These stakeholders are from schools,hospitals,companies,and governments.Hainan Province is the only free trade port with Chinese characteristics.Macao region is an international free trade port that has special economic relations with European and Portuguese-speaking countries.Therefore,this study focuses on the cooperation in the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)industry between Hainan and Macao region.Besides,it investigates the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Hainan and Macao region according to the SWOT model.Results and Conclusion The study revealed strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and threats for cooperation between Hainan and Macao region in TCM industry.Cooperation between Hainan and Macao region can be taken as a priority outline and a standard for the internationalization and modernization of Hainan’s TCM industry.

基于中药质量标志物的中药产业高质量发展技术策略

中药质量是中药安全有效的保障,中药质量关乎国民生命健康,也关乎中药产业的健康发展。以往中药质量研究与质量控制模式难以满足中药复杂体系的质量控制要求,需要在理论、模式、技术方法和研究路径上实现质的突破。在对中药复杂体系和产业特点客观分析的基础上,针对中药质量研究与质量控制现实问题,提出基于中药质量标志物的中药产业高质量发展技术策略。以此建立与中药临床效用密切关联、特有专属、整体评价和面向中药全产业链的质量标准和质量控制体系,并为行业监管提供科学、有效的“监管工具”,对于提高我国中药质量标准和质量控制水平具有一定的参考意义。

基于第四次全国中药资源普查的四川省中药资源调查报告

目的通过开展为期12年的第四次全国中药资源普查(2011—2022年),获得四川省中药资源的最新本底数据,并与四川省第三次全国中药资源普查(1983—1986年)数据比较,研究分析全省中药资源种类、分布、蕴藏量及其变化情况,为四川省中药产业发展战略和科学规划提供决策依据。方法按照第四次全国中药资源普查技术规范的要求,采用GPS、数码摄影、红外摄影、智能手机终端等新技术新方法开展药用植物、动物、矿物的野外调查,标本采集与鉴定,数据录入与数据分析。结果①四川省第四次全国中药资源普查报告中药资源最新总数为9055种,其中药用植物8272种、药用动物745种、药用矿物38种,发现植物新种8个。②药用植物是中药资源的主要组成部分,而药用植物以高等植物为主,药用植物物种数量排名前20的科包括菊科、蔷薇科、豆科、毛茛科等。③全省重点普查的235种野生中药材的蕴藏量为3672.27万吨,超过10万吨的蕴藏量丰富的野生中药材包括天南星、淫羊藿、升麻、石菖蒲、秦艽、何首乌等49种。④2021年四川省栽培中药材215种,包括枳壳、川芎、黄精、丹参等,在地面积817万亩,产量为126.47万吨。⑤四川省183个区县均发现了丰富的中药资源分布,其中中药资源品种数量超过800种的中药资源富集县(市)30个,峨眉山市、洪雅县、木里藏族自治县等16个县中药资源数量超过1000种。⑥与四川省第三次全国中药资源普查(1983—1986年)结果比较,中药资源总数从4037种增加到9055种,增加116.38%;野生中药材蕴藏量从30.6万吨增加到3672.27万吨,增加119倍;中药资源超过800种的富集县(市)数量从3个增加到30个,增加10倍;发现植物新种8个,包括滨藜叶高山党参、塔公东俄芹、新龙韭等。结论四川省第四次全国中药资源普查摸清了全省中药资源的最新本底数据,与四川省第三次全国中药资源普查结果比较,中药资源的种类、分布、蕴藏量与科、属、种的组成均发生了显著的变化。尤其是四川省中药资源品种数、资源富集县(市)数量和重点普查药用植物品种蕴藏量均居于全国前茅,为素有“中医之乡,中药之库”美誉的四川省更高质量和更高水平发展中药大健康产业提供了详实的基础数据,也为我国制定中药产业发展战略和中药材生产规划提供了坚实的科学依据。

陕西省第四次全国中药资源普查对秦药产业高质量发展的启示

通过对第四次全国中药资源普查陕西省相关工作成果进行梳理,明确了陕西省中药资源种类与构成情况,根据区域生境特点和生态适宜性提出秦药的适宜生产区划;总结了中药资源普查成果在陕西省乡村振兴和富民强省、中药产业合理布局和生产规划、中医药事业高质量可持续发展等方面的作用;最终,从加强种子种苗标准化研究、培育优良秦药品种,积极发展林下经济、构建中药材生态种植体系,引导秦药生产向绿色高效方向发展、促进秦药提质增效3个方面展望了秦药产业未来发展面临的挑战,为进一步聚焦秦药大品种、打造秦药全产业链、促进秦药产业绿色可持续发展提供科学参考。

双高建设背景下中医类专业产教融合培育模式的探索

百年大计,教育为本。中医类专业实践性和综合性都极强,产教融合培育模式是培育中医类人才、发展中医类专业的重要模式。基于此,以“双高”建设背景下中医类专业产教融合培育模式为切入点,从其现存问题、模式内涵和探索途径三方面探究双高背景下中医类专业产教融合培育模式,以期为各界针对双高背景下中医类专业产教融合培育模式的探索发展的理论研究和教学实践提供一定参考。

基于产教融合理念的中药制药校企联合课程设计

通过任务驱动的探究式实践,教学团队将课程设计时空从校内实验室拓展到企业实践平台,课程设计内容延伸至企业生产实际,有力促进了课程设计与产业技术发展的联系,学生学会从技术可行性与经济合理性两个方面树立中药制药工艺及车间工艺设计原则与思想,综合应用能力及实践创新水平得以提升,从而为中药制药专业创新应用型人才的培养提供了有力支撑。

中医药产业技术创新联盟的构建动机及运行机制研究——以江西省为例

基于中医药在改善民生、转变经济发展方式、弘扬中华文化、建设生态文明等国家大局中日益凸显的作用,结合产业技术创新联盟在推动产业发展、突破关键共性技术这一显著特点,提出中医药产业技术创新联盟的内涵,分析联盟构建动机。以江西省为例,从全生命周期角度提出中医药产业技术创新联盟的运行机制,保障联盟的稳定发展。

中医药产业高质量发展的内涵、评价体系与基本路径探析

实现中医药产业高质量发展是构建现代中医药产业体系、推动中医药整体事业高质量发展的基本命题和重要支撑。文章通过梳理中医药产业高质量发展的内涵与评价体系,认为中医药产业高质量发展仍面临着技术升级和科技创新、产业集群打造、产业融合发展、龙头企业带动辐射、国际市场占领、产业服务平台完善等压力。为此,实现中医药产业高质量发展的政策导向和基本路径在于:建设产业基地、产业集群和产业园,完善产业链和产业体系;开发道地品牌中药材优势,打造富民兴业支柱产业;发挥特色脱贫致富模式效应,推进经济社会可持续发展;实施科技创新驱动战略,推动创造性转化创新性发展;构建“中医药+”融合发展新格局,推进现代化产业化;建设服务出口基地,促进对外贸易高速发展;聚焦发展瓶颈,探索产学研医政企协同共建新模式。

融合STEAM与PBL的中药生物技术课程教学改革探索与实践

为适应新医科对中药专业人才培养的新要求,本文对中药生物技术课程教学现状进行分析,提出了融合STEAM教育理念和PBL教学模式的教学改革措施。通过课前、课中和课后3个阶段,对该教学模式进行改革与实践,并对其实施效果与评价进行研究。通过该教学模式,学生的学习兴趣得到提高,创新思维和实践能力得到锻炼,有助于培养中药学复合型创新专业人才,满足中药产业发展的新需求。
