Under the goal of "double carbon " strategy,the government and enterprises collaborate to form an efficient environmental governance symbiosis network to reduce pollution and carbon.Based on the panel data o...Under the goal of "double carbon " strategy,the government and enterprises collaborate to form an efficient environmental governance symbiosis network to reduce pollution and carbon.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces,the static and dynamic eco-efficiency of the symbiotic network of environmental governance PPP projects are measured by using the SBM model and Malmquist index considering the super-efficiency of non-expected output.The results show that:(1) 8 provinces,including Hebei,have efficiency values greater than 1;11 provinces,including Liaoning,have organizational technology and management levels conducive to efficiency improvement,and 12 provinces,including Zhejiang,are closest to optimal scale efficiency.(2) Redundancy of energy conservation and environmental protection expenditures,urban environmental infrastructure construction investment and new product development projects,insufficient waste gas treatment capacity,environmental emergencies and carbon emission redundancy are all significant factors affecting eco-efficiency.(3) The dynamic efficiency of 8 provinces,including Fujian,shows a decreasing trend,and the Malmquist index and its decomposition indicate that the utilization rate of environmental governance technology should be improved and environmental resources should be allocated rationally.展开更多
Purpose: This study aims at identifying potential industry-university-research collaboration(IURC) partners effectively and analyzes the conditions and dynamics in the IURC process based on innovation chain theory....Purpose: This study aims at identifying potential industry-university-research collaboration(IURC) partners effectively and analyzes the conditions and dynamics in the IURC process based on innovation chain theory.Design/methodology/approach: The method utilizes multisource data, combining bibliometric and econometrics analyses to capture the core network of the existing collaboration networks and institution competitiveness in the innovation chain. Furthermore, a new identification method is constructed that takes into account the law of scientific research cooperation and economic factors.Findings: Empirical analysis of the genetic engineering vaccine field shows that through the distribution characteristics of creative technologies from different institutions, the analysis based on the innovation chain can identify the more complementary capacities among organizations.Research limitations: In this study, the overall approach is shaped by the theoretical concept of an innovation chain, a linear innovation model with specific types or stages of innovation activities in each phase of the chain, and may, thus, overlook important feedback mechanisms in the innovation process.Practical implications: Industry-university-research institution collaborations are extremely important in promoting the dissemination of innovative knowledge, enhancing the quality of innovation products, and facilitating the transformation of scientific achievements.Originality/value: Compared to previous studies, this study emulates the real conditions of IURC. Thus, the rule of technological innovation can be better revealed, the potential partners of IURC can be identified more readily, and the conclusion has more value.展开更多
Under the current complex and competitive economic environment,more and more firms are embedding themselves into symbiotic networks for value co-creation,since this has become a good strategy to obtain competitive adv...Under the current complex and competitive economic environment,more and more firms are embedding themselves into symbiotic networks for value co-creation,since this has become a good strategy to obtain competitive advantages.Thus,it is important to examine the impacts of firms’embeddedness in symbiotic networks on value co-creation in innovation ecosystems.This study analyzes the mechanisms and contextual factors of firms’dual embeddedness(i.e.,relational and knowledge embeddedness)in symbiotic networks and how each influences value co-creation within innovation ecosystems.Using a sample of 1,972 observations,our findings show,firstly,that firms’dual embeddedness in symbiotic networks positively impacts on value co-creation in innovation ecosystems;secondly,that firms’dual embeddedness in symbiotic networks positively impacts on innovation ecosystem resilience;thirdly,that innovation ecosystem resilience mediates the relationships between firms’dual embeddedness in symbiotic networks and value co-creation in innovation ecosystems;and,fourthly,that innovative ecological environments positively moderate the relationship between firms’dual embeddedness and value co-creation in innovation ecosystems.These results not only enrich the theoretical framework concerning value co-creation within innovation ecosystems but also provide managerial suggestions for firms to efficiently enhance the degree of embeddedness in symbiotic networks and build highly resilient innovation ecosystems,thus promoting value co-creation among innovation ecosystem populations.展开更多
