Intelligent fault diagnosis in modern mechanical equipment maintenance is increasingly adopting deep learning technology.However,conventional bearing fault diagnosis models often suffer from low accuracy and unstable ...Intelligent fault diagnosis in modern mechanical equipment maintenance is increasingly adopting deep learning technology.However,conventional bearing fault diagnosis models often suffer from low accuracy and unstable performance in noisy environments due to their reliance on a single input data.Therefore,this paper proposes a dual-channel convolutional neural network(DDCNN)model that leverages dual data inputs.The DDCNN model introduces two key improvements.Firstly,one of the channels substitutes its convolution with a larger kernel,simplifying the structure while addressing the lack of global information and shallow features.Secondly,the feature layer combines data from different sensors based on their primary and secondary importance,extracting details through small kernel convolution for primary data and obtaining global information through large kernel convolution for secondary data.Extensive experiments conducted on two-bearing fault datasets demonstrate the superiority of the two-channel convolution model,exhibiting high accuracy and robustness even in strong noise environments.Notably,it achieved an impressive 98.84%accuracy at a Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR)of−4 dB,outperforming other advanced convolutional models.展开更多

To improve the precision and the reliability of the diagnosis, the aeroengine wear fault fusion diagnosis method based on the neural networks (NN) and the Dempster-Shafter (D-S) evidence theory is proposed. Firstly, according to the standard value of the wear limit, original data are pre-processed into Boolean values. Secondly, sub-NNs are established to perform the single diagnosis, and their training samples are dependent on experiences from experts. After each sub-NN is trained, diagnosis results are obtained. Thirdly, the diagnosis results of each sub-NN are considered as the basic probability allocation value to faults. The improved D-S evidence theory is applied to the fusion diagnosis, and the final fusion results are obtained. Finally, the method is verified by a diagnosis example.展开更多

Thus, we can not only solve a series of problems caused by rapid growth in size and complexity of neural network structure with diagnosis parameters increasing, but also can provide effective method for basic probability assignment in D-S Theory. Subsequently, the selected features are fused via the autoencoder (AE) to further reduce the redundancy. Finally, the effectiveness of the fused features is evaluated by the support vector machine (SVM). Environmental perception is one of the key technologies to realize autonomous vehicles.Autonomous vehicles are often equipped with multiple sensors to form a multi-source environmental perception system.Those sensors ...Environmental perception is one of the key technologies to realize autonomous vehicles.Autonomous vehicles are often equipped with multiple sensors to form a multi-source environmental perception system.Those sensors are very sensitive to light or background conditions,which will introduce a variety of global and local fault signals that bring great safety risks to autonomous driving system during long-term running.In this paper,a real-time data fusion network with fault diagnosis and fault tolerance mechanism is designed.By introducing prior features to realize the lightweight network,the features of the input data can be extracted in real time.A new sensor reliability evaluation method is proposed by calculating the global and local confidence of sensors.Through the temporal and spatial correlation between sensor data,the sensor redundancy is utilized to diagnose the local and global confidence level of sensor data in real time,eliminate the fault data,and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data fusion.Experiments show that the network achieves state-of-the-art results in speed and accuracy,and can accurately detect the location of the target when some sensors are out of focus or out of order.The fusion framework proposed in this paper is proved to be effective for intelligent vehicles in terms of real-time performance and reliability.展开更多

The centralized and distributed fusion schemes are applied to combine information from several data sources. In the centralized scheme, all information from several data sources is centralized to construct an input space. Then a multi-class Support Vector Machine classifier is trained. In the distributed schemes, the individual data sources are proc-essed separately and modelled by using the multi-class Support Vector Machine. Then new data fusion strategies are proposed to combine the information from the individual multi-class Support Vector Machine models. Our proposed fusion strategies take into account that an Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier achieves classification by finding the optimal classification hyperplane with maximal margin. The proposed methods are applied for fault diagnosis of a diesel engine. The experimental results showed that almost all the proposed approaches can largely improve the diagnostic accuracy. The robustness of diagnosis is also improved because of the implementation of data fusion strategies. The proposed methods can also be applied in other fields.展开更多

In the view of the information entropy, we introduce four information entropy features of the rotating machinery, which describe the vibration condition of the machinery. The four features are, respectively, denominated as singular spectrum entropy, power spectrum entropy, wavelet space state feature entropy and wavelet power spectrum entropy. The value scopes of the four information entropy features of the rotating machinery in some typical fault conditions are gained by experiments, which can be acted as the standard features of fault diagnosis. According to the principle of the shorter distance between the more similar models, the decision-making method based on the close degree of information entropy is put forward to deal with the recognition of fault patterns. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in an instance involving the fault pattern recognition of some rotating machinery.展开更多

However a...Fault diagnosis on large-scale and complex networks is a challenging task, as it requires efficient and accurate inference from huge data volumes. Active probing is a cost-efficient tool for fault diagnosis. However almost all existing probing-based techniques face the following problems: 1) performing inaccurately in noisy networks; 2) generating additional traffic to the network; 3) high cost computation. To address these problems, we propose an efficient probe selection algorithm for fault diagnosis based on Bayesian network. Moreover, two approaches which could significantly reduce the computational complexity of the probe selection process are provided. Finally, we implement the new proposed algorithm and a former representative probing-based algorithm (BPEA algorithm) on different settings of networks. The results show that, the new algorithm performs much faster than BPEA does without sacrificing the diagnostic quality, especially in large, noisy and multiple-fault networks.展开更多

In the centralized scheme, all information from several data sources is centralized to construct an input space. Then a multi-class Support Vector Machine classifier is trained. In the distributed schemes, the individual data sources are proc-essed separately and modelled by using the multi-class Support Vector Machine. Then new data fusion strategies are proposed to combine the information from the individual multi-class Support Vector Machine models. Our proposed fusion strategies take into account that an Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier achieves classification by finding the optimal classification hyperplane with maximal margin. The proposed methods are applied for fault diagnosis of a diesel engine. The experimental results showed that almost all the proposed approaches can largely improve the diagnostic accuracy. The robustness of diagnosis is also improved because of the implementation of data fusion strategies. The proposed methods can also be applied in other fields.
文摘It is important to specify the occurrence and cause of failure of machines without stopping the machines because of increased use of various complex industrial systems. In this study, two new diagnosis methods based on the correlation information between sound and vibration emitted from the machine are derived. First, a diagnostic method which can detect the part of machine with fault among the assumed several faults is proposed by measuring simultaneously the time series data on sound and vibration. Next, a diagnosis method based on the estimation of the changing information of correlation between sound and vibration is considered by using prior information in only normal situation. The effectiveness of the proposed theory is experimentally confirmed by applying it to the observed data emitted from a rotational machine driven by an electric motor.

文摘This paper presents a method of rotating machinery fault diagnosis based on the close degree of information entropy. In the view of the information entropy, we introduce four information entropy features of the rotating machinery, which describe the vibration condition of the machinery. The four features are, respectively, denominated as singular spectrum entropy, power spectrum entropy, wavelet space state feature entropy and wavelet power spectrum entropy. The value scopes of the four information entropy features of the rotating machinery in some typical fault conditions are gained by experiments, which can be acted as the standard features of fault diagnosis. According to the principle of the shorter distance between the more similar models, the decision-making method based on the close degree of information entropy is put forward to deal with the recognition of fault patterns. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in an instance involving the fault pattern recognition of some rotating machinery.

文摘Multi-sensor measurement iswidely employed in rotatingmachinery to ensure the safety ofmachines.The information provided by the single sensor is not comprehensive.Multi-sensor signals can provide complementary information in characterizing the health condition of machines.This paper proposed a multi-sensor fusion convolution neural network(MF-CNN)model.The proposed model adds a 2-D convolution layer before the classical 1-D CNN to automatically extract complementary features of multi-sensor signals and minimize the loss of information.A series of experiments are carried out on a rolling bearing test rig to verify the model.Vibration and sound signals are fused to achieve higher classification accuracy than typical machine learning model.In addition,the model is further applied to gas turbine abnormal detection,and shows great robustness and generalization.

文摘This paper proposes a novel fault diagnosis method by fusing the information from multi-sensor signals to improve the reliability of the conventional vibration-based wind turbine drivetrain gearbox fault diagnosis methods.The method fully extracts fault features for variable speed,insufficient samples,and strong noise scenarios that may occur in the actual operation of a wind turbine planetary gearbox.First,multiple sensor signals are added to the diagnostic model,and multiple stacked denoising auto-encoders are designed and improved to extract the fault information.Then,a cycle reservoir with regular jumps is introduced to fuse multidimensional fault information and output diagnostic results in response to the insufficient ability to process fused information by the conventional Softmax classifier.In addition,the competitive swarm optimizer algorithm is introduced to address the challenge of obtaining the optimal combination of parameters in the network.Finally,the validation results show that the proposed method can increase fault diagnostic accuracy and improve robustness.

文摘Blind source separation (BBS) technology was applied to vibration signal processing of gearbox for separating different fault vibration sources and enhancing fault information. An improved BSS algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) was proposed. It can change the traditional fault-enhancing thought based on de-noising. And it can also solve the practical difficult problem of fault location and low fault diagnosis rate in early stage. It was applied to the vibration signal of gearbox under three working states. The result proves that the BSS greatly enhances fault information and supplies technological method for diagnosis of weak fault.

文摘Multisensor data fusionmethod can improve the accuracy of bearing fault diagnosis,in order to address the problems of single-sensor data types and the insufficient exploration of redundancy and complementarity between different modal data in most existing multisensor data fusion methods for bearing fault diagnosis,a bearing fault diagnosis method based on a Multiple-Constraint Modal-Invariant Graph Convolutional Fusion Network(MCMI-GCFN)is proposed in this paper.Firstly,a Convolutional Autoencoder(CAE)and Squeeze-and-Excitation Block(SE block)are used to extract features of raw current and vibration signals.Secondly,the model introduces source domain classifiers and domain discriminators to capture modal invariance between different modal data based on domain adversarial training,making use of the redundancy and complementarity between multimodal data.Then,the spatial aggregation property of Graph Convolutional Neural Networks(GCN)is utilized to capture the dependency relationship between current and vibration modes with similar time step features for accurately fusing contextual semantic information.Finally,the validation is conducted on the public bearing damage current and vibration dataset from Paderborn University.The experimental results showed that the delivered fusion method achieved a bearing fault diagnosis accuracy of 99.6%,which was about 9%–11.4%better than that with nonfusion methods.

文摘A method combining information entropy and radial basis function network is proposed for fault automatic diagnosis of reciprocating compressors.Aiming at the current situation that the accuracy rate of reciprocating compressor fault diagnosis which depends on manual work in engineering is very low,we apply information entropy evaluation to select the sensitive features and make clear the corresponding relationship of characteristic parameters and failures.This method could reduce the feature dimension.Then,a complete fault diagnosis architecture has been built combining with radial basis function network which has the fast and efficient characteristics.According to the test results using experimental and engineering data,it is observed that the proposed fault diagnosis method improves the accuracy of fault automatic diagnosis effectively and it could improve the practicability of the monitoring system.

文摘To deal with multi-source multi-class classification problems, the method of combining multiple multi-class probability support vector machines (MPSVMs) using Bayesian theory is proposed in this paper. The MPSVMs are designed by mapping the output of standard support vector machines into a calibrated posterior probability by using a learned sigmoid function and then combining these learned binary-class probability SVMs. Two Bayes based methods for combining multiple MPSVMs are applied to improve the performance of classification. Our proposed methods are applied to fault diagnosis of a diesel engine. The experimental results show that the new methods can improve the accuracy and robustness of fault diagnosis.

文摘Fault diagnosis on large-scale and complex networks is a challenging task, as it requires efficient and accurate inference from huge data volumes. Active probing is a cost-efficient tool for fault diagnosis. However almost all existing probing-based techniques face the following problems: 1) performing inaccurately in noisy networks; 2) generating additional traffic to the network; 3) high cost computation. To address these problems, we propose an efficient probe selection algorithm for fault diagnosis based on Bayesian network. Moreover, two approaches which could significantly reduce the computational complexity of the probe selection process are provided. Finally, we implement the new proposed algorithm and a former representative probing-based algorithm (BPEA algorithm) on different settings of networks. The results show that, the new algorithm performs much faster than BPEA does without sacrificing the diagnostic quality, especially in large, noisy and multiple-fault networks.

文摘>Transformer faults are quite complicated phenomena and can occur due to a variety of reasons.There have been several methods for transformer fault synthetic diagnosis,but each of them has its own limitations in real fault diagnosis applications.In order to overcome those shortcomings in the existing methods,a new transformer fault diagnosis method based on a wavelet neural network optimized by adaptive genetic algorithm(AGA)and an improved D-S evidence theory fusion technique is proposed in this paper.The proposed method combines the oil chromatogram data and the off-line electrical test data of transformers to carry out fault diagnosis.Based on the fusion mechanism of D-S evidence theory,the comprehensive reliability of evidence is constructed by considering the evidence importance,the outputs of the neural network and the expert experience.The new method increases the objectivity of the basic probability assignment(BPA)and reduces the basic probability assigned for uncertain and unimportant information.The case study results of using the proposed method show that it has a good performance of fault diagnosis for transformers.
