The medical convergence industry has gradually adopted ICT devices,which has led to legacy security problems related to ICT devices.However,it has been difficult to solve these problems due to data resource issues.Such problems can cause a lack of reliability in medical artificial intelligence services that utilize medical information.Therefore,to provide reliable services focused on security internalization,it is necessary to establish a medical convergence environment-oriented security management system.This study proposes the use of system identification and countermeasures to secure systemreliabilitywhen using medical convergence environment information in medical artificial intelligence.We checked the life cycle of medical information and the flow and location of information,analyzed the security threats that may arise during the life cycle,and proposed technical countermeasures to overcome such threats.We verified the proposed countermeasures through a survey of experts.Security requirements were defined based on the information life cycle in the medical convergence environment.We also designed technical countermeasures for use in the security management systems of hospitals of diverse sizes. 展开更多

The rapid emergence of novel virus named SARS-CoV2 and unchecked dissemination of this virus around the world ever since its outbreak in 2020,provide critical research criteria to assess the vulnerabilities of our current health system.The paper addresses our preparedness for the management of such acute health emergencies and the need to enhance awareness,about public health and healthcare mechanisms.In view of this unprecedented health crisis,distributed ledger and AI technology can be seen as one of the promising alternatives for fighting against such epidemics at the early stages,and with the higher efficacy.At the implementation level,blockchain integration,early detection and avoidance of an outbreak,identity protection and safety,and a secure drug supply chain can be realized.At the opposite end of the continuum,artificial intelligence methods are used to detect corona effects until they become too serious,avoiding costly drug processing.The paper explores the application of blockchain and artificial intelligence in order to fight with COVID-19 epidemic scenarios.This paper analyzes all possible newly emerging cases that are employing these two technologies for combating a pandemic like COVID-19 along with major challenges which cover all technological and motivational factors.This paper has also discusses the potential challenges and whether further production is required to establish a health monitoring system. 展开更多

An Assessment Tool for Land Reuse with Artificial Intelligence Method

This paper focuses on land resource consumption due to urban sprawl. Special attention is given to shrinking regions, characterized by economic decline, demographic change, and high unemployment rates. In these regions, vast terrain is abandoned and falls derelict. A geographic information system (GIS) based multi-criteria decision tool is introduced to determine the reuse potential of derelict terrain, to investigate the possible reuse options (housing, business and trade, industry, services, tourism and leisure, and re-greening), and to visualize the best reuse options for groups of sites on a regional scale. Achievement functions for attribute data are presented to assess the best reuse options based on a multi-attribute technique. The assessment tool developed is applied to a model region in Germany. The application of the assessment tool enables communities to become aware of their resources of derelict land and their reuse potential. 展开更多

The growing and evolving use of emerging technology including Artificial Intelligence(AI)and Virtual Reality(VR),has significantly impacted the lives of two specific groups-the elderly and the disabled.This paper investigates potential reasons for this phenomenon.Clearly,AI and VR Technology alters the everyday lives of people with disabilities and how they navigate the world.Technological developments increasingly work to address the isolation that people with disabilities as well as the elderly experience for they are often unable or limited in how they engage with their communities.This research paper outlines the way technology has improved social communication,information distribution,and day-to-day living for those with disabilities and the elderly.Undoubtedly,the internet has transformed social communication and interaction for most people.Socially isolated individuals with disabilities have gained exposure to social environments through social media.Moreover,the broad range of information available on the internet has increased access to resources such as government services,health services,and social services support.On a related point,assistive devices have enabled disabled people including many seniors to overcome motor,sensory,or cognitive difficulties that may have previously hindered them from performing daily tasks.However,although AI and VR technology has been effectively integrated in the lives of those with disabilities,many such individuals lack access to commonplace technologies,like a personal computer.This paper examines how AI and VR technology has enhanced communication,information access,and everyday activities for the disabled and aging communities despite such socio-economic limitations. 展开更多

Objective:To describe the information technology and artificial intelligence support in management experiences of the pediatric designated hospital in the wave of COVID-19 in Shanghai.Methods:We retrospectively concluded the management experiences at the largest pediatric designated hospital from March 1st to May 11th in 2022 in Shanghai.We summarized the application of Internet hospital,face recognition technology in outpatient department,critical illness warning system and remote consultation system in the ward and the structed electronic medical record in the inpatient system.We illustrated the role of the information system through the number and prognosis of patients treated.Results:The COVID-19 designated hospitals were built particularly for critical patients requiring high-level medical care,responded quickly and scientifically to prevent and control the epidemic situation.From March 1st to May 11th,2022,we received and treated 768 children confirmed by positive RT-PCR and treated at our center.In our management,we use Internet Information on the Internet Hospital,face recognition technology in outpatient department,critical illness warning system and remote consultation system in the ward,structed electronic medical record in the inpatient system.No deaths or nosocomial infections occurred.The number of offline outpatient visits dropped,from March to May 2022,146,106,48,379,57,686 respectively.But the outpatient volume on the internet hospital increased significantly(3,347 in March 2022 vs.372 in March 2021;4,465 in April 2022 vs.409 in April 2021;4,677 in May 2022 vs.538 in May 2021).Conclusions:Information technology and artificial intelligence has provided significant supports in the management.The system might optimize the admission screening process,increases the communication inside and outside the ward,achieves early detection and diagnosis,timely isolates patients,and timely treatment of various types of children. 展开更多

This paper examines how cybersecurity is developing and how it relates to more conventional information security. Although information security and cyber security are sometimes used synonymously, this study contends that they are not the same. The concept of cyber security is explored, which goes beyond protecting information resources to include a wider variety of assets, including people [1]. Protecting information assets is the main goal of traditional information security, with consideration to the human element and how people fit into the security process. On the other hand, cyber security adds a new level of complexity, as people might unintentionally contribute to or become targets of cyberattacks. This aspect presents moral questions since it is becoming more widely accepted that society has a duty to protect weaker members of society, including children [1]. The study emphasizes how important cyber security is on a larger scale, with many countries creating plans and laws to counteract cyberattacks. Nevertheless, a lot of these sources frequently neglect to define the differences or the relationship between information security and cyber security [1]. The paper focus on differentiating between cybersecurity and information security on a larger scale. The study also highlights other areas of cybersecurity which includes defending people, social norms, and vital infrastructure from threats that arise from online in addition to information and technology protection. The ever-increasing complexity of industry facilities has made the reliability analysis and assessment an imperative yet tough work. Motivated by practical engineering requirement, this paper develops a Bayesian-based information extraction and aggregation (BIEA) approach for system level reliability estimation of a complex system. It takes both subjective judgments and objective field outputs into consideration. Novel features of this approach is a unique information content based aggregation process, which allows a flexible application of this framework in separated modules on account for purpose. The coherency of which is guaranteed by the objective information content calculation. This work goes beyond the alternatives that deal with solely attributed data under ideal information circumstance, and investigates a more generic tool for real engineering application. Limitations embedded in traditional statistical modeling methods have been eliminated in a nature manner by information transition and integration. In addition, a double axis driving mechanism (DADM) for erecting the antenna of a satellite is demonstrated as case study for benefit illustration and effectiveness verification. © 2017 Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information. 展开更多

Intelligence and perception are two operative technologies in 6G scenarios.The intelligent wireless network and information perception require a deep fusion of artificial intelligence(AI)and wireless communications in 6G systems.Therefore,fusion is becoming a typical feature and key challenge of 6G wireless communication systems.In this paper,we focus on the critical issues and propose three application scenarios in 6G wireless systems.Specifically,we first discuss the fusion of AI and 6G networks for the enhancement of 5G-advanced technology and future wireless communication systems.Then,we introduce the wireless AI technology architecture with 6G multidimensional information perception,which includes the physical layer technology of multi-dimensional feature information perception,full spectrum fusion technology,and intelligent wireless resource management.The discussion of key technologies for intelligent 6G wireless network networks is expected to provide a guideline for future research. 展开更多
