With the deepening of educational reform,interdisciplinary thematic learning,as an emerging educational model,has become a focus of attention in the field of educational research.Based on the STEM(science,technology,engineering,and mathematics)education concept and CASES-T(Content,Activity,Situation,Evaluation,Strategy-Target)model,this study provides a theoretical basis for the teaching design and implementation of interdisciplinary thematic learning in middle school physical education.Through the analysis of specific interdisciplinary thematic learning cases,it aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the reform of middle school physical education through the CASES-T model-based interdisciplinary thematic teaching design research in middle school physical education,in order to enhance students’learning effects,cultivate core literacy in physical education,and promote students’all-round development. 展开更多

How to benefit the learners learning English as a foreign language(EFL)from the aspect of instructional design aroused the concerns of many teachers and researchers.The main purpose of this study is to address the question of how teachers can design and implement EFL classroom that benefit the learners.Specifically,the“First Principles of Instruction,”advocated by Merrill(2002),was applied by the English teachers to conduct their day-to-day pedagogical practices.The corresponding effects of this theory in designing EFL classroom activities were reported in this study.Two research questions are formulated as follows:(1)Does the“First Principles of Instruction”benefit the EFL classroom designing in the aspect of student achievement?If yes,what is the effect?(2)How do the English teachers perceive the“First Principles of Instruction”to design EFL classroom?While observing the EFL classroom activities and interviewing the college English teachers,an empirical study was done to perceive how college English teachers could best apply these principles to design EFL classroom activities. 展开更多

Demands for low-energy microcontrollers have been increasing in recent years. Since most microcontrollers achieve user programmability by integrating nonvolatile (NV) memories such as flash memories for storing their programs, the large power consumption required in accessing an NV memory has become a major problem. This problem becomes critical when the power supply voltage of NV microcontrollers is decreased. We can solve this problem by introducing an instruction cache, thus reducing the access frequency of the NV memory. Unlike general-purpose microprocessors, microcontrollers used for real-time applications in embedded systems must accurately calculate program execution time prior to its execution. Therefore, we introduce a “transparent” instruction cache, which does not change the existing NV microcontroller’s cycle-level execution time, for reducing power and energy consumption, but not for improving the processing speed. We have conducted detailed microar chitecture design based on the architecture of a major industrial microcontroller, and we evaluated power and energy consumption for several benchmark programs. Our evaluation shows that the proposed instruction cache can successfully reduce energy consumption in a fairly wide range of practical NV microcontroller configurations. 展开更多

PBL教学因以真实的劣构性问题为导向,提升解决问题的高阶思维能力而广受关注。如何将PBL教学模式融入高中地理课堂教学是当前高中地理教育领域研究的重要议题之一。通过厘清PBL教学的内涵,剖析PBL教学模式的特点,构建高中地理PBL教学模式下的设计思路,在此基础上以“气候与自然景观”为例,通过创新地理教学设计,丰富地理课堂教学。研究得出,将PBL教学模式运用到高中地理课堂教学中主要有以下三个特点:以真实情境为背景、以问题探究为关键、以批判质疑为核心,以此引导学生在发现、分析、解决地理问题的过程中对新旧知识进行连接、转化、迁移和运用,落实地理学科核心素养。 展开更多
