Electrospinning technology has become a research hotspot becauseof its advantages, such as simple operation, low cost, large specific surfacearea, high porosity, and good fiber continuity. Here, a new type of compositenanoair filter paper was prepared using electrospinning technology. Toimprove the practicability of air filter base paper, phenolic resin was used as acuring agent to improve the strength. The results show that the electrospunnanoair filter paper with air filter paper as the receiving substrate andpolyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution as the spinning solution excellentlyperformed in all aspects. The influence of the thickness (spinning time) of thePVA nanofiber membrane on the micromorphology, physical properties, andfiltration performance of the electrospun nanoair filter paper was analyzed.According to the ISO 5011-2014 standard, the initial resistance, filtrationefficiency, mean pore size, and dust capacity of the electrospun nanoair filterpaper were 77.3 Pa, 99.9941%, 3.50 μm, and 146 g/m^(2), respectively, when thespinning time was 15 min. 展开更多

A corona based weakly ionized plasma source was developed to deposit plasma polymerized acetylene coating at atmospheric pressure. The plasma source included a distinctive point-topoint geometry consisting of an array of high voltage needles and an array of protrusions placed over a grounded screen. The geometry facilitated various corona discharge modes that included return corona to contribute plasma polymerized acetylene deposition downstream from the corona section. Scanning probe techniques were used to investigate deposition on both the leading surface and the trailing surface of substrates. Deposition was initiated as distinct nodules that merged to form a thin plasma polymerized coating. 展开更多

Chemical,morphological and anatomical characteristics of Cyperus flabettiformic were evaluated.It is characterized with lowα-cellulose(32.2%)and moderate lignin(24.0%)content.Fiber length of C.flabettiformic was shorter(0.94mm)but slender ratio was extremely high(166).Anatomically,this grass is constituted by homogeneous parenchyma cells and the vascular bundles(11.8%).Delignification of C.flabettiformic was carried out by conventional soda pulping under varying alkali charge,time and liquor to material ratio at the boiling temperature.Total pulp yield was 55.0%with kappa number 15.5 at the cooking conditions of 12%alkali charge,2 h of cooking and liquor to material ratio 10:1.Multivariate data analysis was used to evaluate the influence of alkali charge,cooking time and liquor ratio on pulp yield and kappa number.Alkali charge had a significant effect on pulp yield and kappa number.PLSR model showed better prediction efficiencies for pulp yield and PCR model performed better prediction for kappa number.Initial drainage resistance and papermaking properties of C.flabettiformic pulp were higher than other nonwood. 展开更多
