Language and culture have been mutually dependent through their history. The moral principle—honesty and integrity isone of the most significant categories of human's culture.The author does a literary review of the relationship between language andculture. Then she makes an analysis of an empirical study on Chinese and Western concepts of"honesty and integrity".In light ofthe empirical study, the author has found that Chinese mainly come into contact with the idea of"honesty and integrity"from theirparents, while the Westerners learn this concept mostly from school education.

The"Belt and Road"Initiative:A Chinese Concept for Global Development

Western values have caused a ＂value dislocation＂ for non-Western countries. The world is calling for new development concepts. The ＂Belt and Road＂ initiative has emerged as an answer. It embodies China＇s ideas on global development. First, it works for the ＂common prosperity＂ of every country, which will ease contradictions between the South and the North. Second, it emphasizes geo-economie integration that will heal the fragmentation of Eurasia. Third, it advocates linkages between people and inclusiveness to create a new kind of civilization. However, many difficulties and challenges lie ahead for the implementation of the ＂Belt and Road＂ initiative.

The Belt and Road Initiative and the Concept of an Economic Corridor along the Southern Silk Road

The Belt and Road Initiative requires the urgent revival of the Southern Silk Road. This means a good understanding of its rich historical connotations and its comprehensive and mutual-beneficial functions. Starting from a very early period, the Southern Silk Road has played an important role in the history of Yunnan and has been characterized by using cowry as money. This paper proposes the development of a new economic corridor along the Southern Silk Road from Xi'an in the north, via Chengdu and Kunming, to South Asia and Southeast Asia thus linking the Silk Road Economic Belt to the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road. This will bring about a new phase of all-around opening-up linking domestic and overseas markets via land and sea.

Corpus-based Translation Class Design Study

This essay accesses to the approach of corpus applied to translation teaching, in order to improve the teaching methods, lay the foundation for the translation teaching reform, cultivate students research ability, and finally to establish a new type of translation teaching design-- ＂ability-development-oriented design＂. Also, this paper takes the word ＂good＂ for example, looking for the general rules to translate it and its common collocation, in order to design a translation class. Corpus-based learning and teaching provides us a new feasible way of translation class.

Physical restraint in mental health nursing: A concept analysis

Objective: Physical restraint is frequently used in medical services,such as in mental health settings,intensive care units and nursing homes,but its nature varies in different institutions.By reviewing related literature,this study aims to clarify the concept of physical restraint in mental health nursing.Method: Three databases (PubMed,PsyclNFO and CINAHL) were retrieved,and Walker and Avant's concept analysis method was used to analyze the concept of physical restraint in mental health nursing.Results: Physical restraint is a coercive approach that enables the administration of necessary treatment by safely reducing the patient's physical movement.It should be the last option used by qualified personnel.Antecedents of physical restraint are improper behavior (violence and disturbance) of patients,medical assessment prior to implementation and legislation governing clinical usage.Consequences of physical restraint are alleviation of conflict,physical injury,mental trauma and invisible impact on the institution.Discussion: This study defined the characteristics of physical restraint in mental health nursing.The proposed concept analysis provided theoretical foundation for future studies.

Comparative Study on Debris Flow Initiation in Limestone and Sandstone Spoil

Large spoil tips from reconstruction works as a result of the Wenchuan Earthquake in China are new debris flow hazards to the human society.However,there is a lack of detailed comparative study on debris flow initiation in different spoil materials.This paper describes a series of tests and analyses on debris flow characteristics(initiation,scale and mechanism) at six sites with limestone and sandstone materials near the Dujiangyan area.Research shows the limestone spoil contains debris flow prone clay content with high concentration of montmorillonite(highly expandable).In addition,limestone spoil is of such a low permeability that water mainly concentrates in the upper surface layer.Those factors make it easy for the increase of pore water pressure,decline of internal friction and conhesion force,leading to the occurence of large debris flows.In contrast,the sandstone spoil is less problematic and causes no major debris flow threats.Based on our research on the mechanism,the"stereometric drainage"method is sucessfully applied to control limestone spoil debris flows.

Educational Situation： Some Preliminary Remarks on a Basic Concept of Education Studies

When educationalists are asked to define their own academic discipline of Education Studies, they often struggle to reach a common understanding. From an epistemological point of view, this indeterminacy leads back to the complex considerations involved in establishing a basic concept of education. In this article, the author explores in a preliminary fashion the possibility of identifying the essence of education in its performativity as an occurrence in context that always precedes and supersedes our theoretical considerations of it. Education is not to be understood primarily as something conceptual （theory） but rather in terms of its significance as a situational event （reality）. Educational reality thus informs educational theory and this relationship implies a knowledge-ethical surplus of the former as an inexhaustible source for the latter.

The Awakening of Self: A Postcolonial Study of Initiation Theme in Miguel Street

Miguel Street is a collection of linked short stories by the Nobel Laureate V.S.Naipaul.To interpret the initiation theme inMiguel Street,this paper uses Rui Yuping’s theory structure to analyze the three major parts of the growing progress of the narra tor“I”.This paper also uses postcolonial criticism to interpret the confusing situation which“I”was in and the narrative strategy in this novel.The conclusion is that the only solution for“I”and even the whole country is to escape from the confusing situation.

起始联合降脂策略对心内科门诊“极高危ASCVD”患者疗效及安全性观察——真实世界的前瞻性队列研究

目的:在真实世界的前瞻性队列研究中观察心内科门诊“极高危ASCVD”患者在治疗起始阶段采用联合降脂策略的疗效与安全性。方法:连续入组2021年1月至6月在湘雅医院心内科高脂血症专病门诊就诊的“极高危ASCVD”患者,根据其实际降脂策略分为三组:阿托伐他汀单药组;阿托伐他汀联合依折麦布组;阿托伐他汀联合依洛尤单抗组。主要观察终点为治疗一个月后低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、脂蛋白a[Lp(a)]、非-HDL-C变化,次要终点为总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、LDL-C、超敏C反应蛋白(hs-CRP)变化及安全性指标。结果:无论哪种联合方式,在“极高危ASCVD”患者降脂起始阶段联合降脂治疗的疗效均显著优于阿托伐他汀单药组:LDL-C、Log[Lp(a)]、非-HDL-C、TC的降幅更大,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。在两种联合降脂方案中,阿托伐他汀联合依洛尤单抗与联合依折麦布相比,LDL-C、Log[Lp(a)]的降幅更大,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),TC、TG有一定的降幅,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。以“LDL-C<1.4 mmol/L或<1.8 mmol/L”作为降脂达标的标准时,两组联合降脂治疗的LDL-C达标率均高于阿托伐他汀单药组,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05);阿托伐他汀联合依洛尤单抗组的LDL-C达标率高于阿托伐他汀联合依折麦布组,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。单独或联合“LDL下降超过50%”的降幅为达标标准,三组均无人能达标。治疗后三组间的肝脏转氨酶水平变化差异均无统计学意义(均P<0.05);三组间心肌酶同工酶(CK-MB)均下降,但差异无统计学意义(P<0.05)。与阿托伐他汀单药组相比,两联合降脂组治疗组的血糖均下降,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);阿托伐他汀联合依折麦布组的血糖比阿托伐他汀联合依洛尤单抗组的降幅更大,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:起始联合降脂治疗1个月对心内科门诊“极高危ASCVD”患者的降脂效果及LDL-C的达标率优于阿托伐他汀单药组。以LDL-C<1.4 mmol/L或<1.8 mmol/L为降脂达标目标时,阿托伐他汀联合依洛尤单抗组治疗1个月后LDL-C达标率高于联合依折麦布组;以“LDL下降超过50%”的降幅作为降脂达标标准时,1个月内很难达标。门诊“极高危ASCVD”患者采用起始联合的降脂治疗1个月无不良反应。起始联合降脂策略可用于心内科门诊“极高危ASCVD”患者中LDL-C数值需早期达标的人群,阿托伐他汀联合依洛尤单抗可用于需在1个月内LDL-C<1.4 mmol/L或<1.8 mmol/L的人群。

幸福观结构模型及应用分析

一种思想人的利害关系有三种:有利,有害,中性(简称为“中”)。按照某种思想对自己和他人的利害关系,可以把思想分成九类。如果按照“他人优先”的原则排列,可以把思想境界分为九级。从低到高依次为:害己害人,中己害人,利己害人,害己中人,中己中人,利己中人,利己利人,中己利人,舍己为人。其中,“害人”的思想有三种,分别为:利己害人、中己害人、害己害人;利人的思想也有三种,分别为:利己利人、中己利人、害己利人;还有三类对他人没有害的思想,分别是:利己中人、中己中人、害己中人。把这九类思想与幸福观对应起来,就形成了利人幸福观、中性幸福观和害人幸福观等三大类幸福观。对于利人的幸福观,要宣传、鼓励;对于中性的幸福观,要教育、引导;对于害人的幸福观,要反对、打击、控制。从而使得意识形态监管工作有所遵循。

孟加拉湾波浪数值模型计算初始参数调整研究

在对孟加拉湾海域进行波浪建模的过程中,SWAN模型初始参数调整的研究显得尤为重要。鉴于该区域波浪特性的复杂性和多变性,利用波浪浮标数据,对SWAN模型在各种初始参数配置下的模拟结果进行了深入评估。研究结果表明,在某些特定条件下,仅仅提升计算分辨率并不能显著增强模型的模拟精度;因此,选择合适的分辨率对于确保计算效率与模拟精度之间的平衡显得至关重要。特别是在对BD08、BD11和BD14三个浮标的数据进行分析时发现,当模型设置为10 min时间步长和最大迭代次数为1时,波高模拟展现出了高度稳定性和准确性。因此,建议在模拟过程中采用较短的时间步长并减少迭代次数,尤其是在水深变化剧烈和近岸地区,以提高模型的模拟精度和效率。对SWAN模型初始参数进行细致的调整,对于提高模型在不同地区的模拟精度和效率是至关重要的。

中国家庭追踪调查:设计理念及数据运用问题

中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)作为我国首创的全国性、大规模、多学科的长期固定样本追踪调查为研究中国变迁提供了宝贵资料。该项目2010年启动全国首轮基线调查,调查样本覆盖全国25个省(区、市)的14960户家庭。基线调查后,项目保持隔年回访、双年采集数据的追踪模式,截至2022年,CFPS已完成七轮全国调查,前六轮(2010—2020)的数据已面向公众开放。作为学术和政策研究的重要资料,CFPS注册用户已超过12万,每天都有基于CFPS的科研成果产出。但CFPS在使用上具有一定的门槛,不了解项目理念可能导致数据误用,进而影响研究结果的有效性。为了让研究者能够科学、规范地使用CFPS数据,本文将结合CFPS在调查设计和管理上的四个特点——综合性、嵌套性、追踪性和规范性,分别解读CFPS的设计和管理理念,并对用户在数据使用过程中的常见问题及误区进行回应。

大学生劳动观念对职业成熟度的即时与长时影响:一项追踪研究

通过间隔一年、持续两年的调研,利用交叉滞后分析,验证劳动观念对大学生职业成熟度的即时与长时影响。结果显示:大学生的劳动观念随年级增长而增强,职业成熟度随认知发展而提升,劳动观念与职业成熟度具有即时正向关联,劳动观念可以长时预测职业成熟度。为助力积极向上的劳动观念形成高水平的职业成熟度,提出四条教育建议:一是与时代同行,营造崇尚劳动的校园文化;二是与素养共育,设置观念为本的课程体系;三是与生活呼应,创设真实饱满的劳动情境;四是与职业融通,建立多元协同的实施体系。
