The ICRF heating is planned to operate in a frequency range of 30 MHz to 80 MHz and hence the antenna geometry is optimized for 55 MHz. The design is based on the conventional strap antenna element. The coupling properties of the antenna are calculated with a slab model of the plasma for the antenna simulation. The coupling code is extended for the analysis of the toroidal antenna array separated by septa.展开更多

To solve these problems, an integrated radar and communication system (IRCS) with multiple input multiple output (MIMO) OFDM waveform is proposed. The different limitations of radar and communication in designing such a system are investigated. Then, an optimization problem is devised to obtain suitable system parameters, including the number of subcarriers, subcarrier spacing, number of symbols, pulse repetition frequency (PRF) and length of cyclic prefix (CP). Finally, to satisfy the requirements of both radar and communication, the IRCS parameters are derived in three typical cases. Several numerical results are presented to illustrate the demands of radar and communication, inconsistent or consistent, for the IRCS parameters and the superiority of the proposed system.展开更多
In this paper,we present an optimal neuro-control scheme for continuous-time(CT)nonlinear systems with asymmetric input constraints.Initially,we introduce a discounted cost function for the CT nonlinear systems in ord...In this paper,we present an optimal neuro-control scheme for continuous-time(CT)nonlinear systems with asymmetric input constraints.Initially,we introduce a discounted cost function for the CT nonlinear systems in order to handle the asymmetric input constraints.Then,we develop a Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation(HJBE),which arises in the discounted cost optimal control problem.To obtain the optimal neurocontroller,we utilize a critic neural network(CNN)to solve the HJBE under the framework of reinforcement learning.The CNN's weight vector is tuned via the gradient descent approach.Based on the Lyapunov method,we prove that uniform ultimate boundedness of the CNN's weight vector and the closed-loop system is guaranteed.Finally,we verify the effectiveness of the present optimal neuro-control strategy through performing simulations of two examples.展开更多

Firstly, a sequence of Morlet wavelet pulses with frequency hopping and pulse position modulation by Welch-Costas array is designed. Then a waveform optimization solution is proposed which is achieved by applying the minimization mutual-information(MI) strategy. After that, with subsequent iterations of the algorithm, simulation results demonstrate that the optimal waveform design method brings an improvement in the target detection ability in the presence of noise and clutter.展开更多

To solve the control difficulties with an ET, such as strong nonlinearity,unknown model parameters and input saturation constraints,an adaptive sliding-mode tracking control strategy for an ET is presented. Compared with the existing control strategies for an ET, input saturation constraints and parameter uncertainties are adequately considered in the proposed control strategy. At first, the nonlinear dynamic model for control of an ET is described. According to the dynamical model, the nonlinear adaptive sliding-mode tracking control method is presented,where parameter adaptive laws and auxiliary design system are employed. Parameter adaptive law is given to estimate the unknown parameter with an ET. An auxiliary system is designed,and its state is utilized in the tracking control method to handle the input saturation. Stability proof and analysis of the adaptive sliding-mode control method is performed by using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the reliability and feasibility of the proposed control strategy are evaluated by computer simulation.Simulation research shows that the proposed sliding-mode control strategy can provide good control performance for an ET.展开更多

文摘基于能量的设计方法被广泛应用于结构抗震设计与性能评估,而确定结构能量耗散需求是设计过程中需解决的首要问题。目前针对近断层脉冲型地震动能量谱特征的研究仍然不够充分,很可能低估其对结构的破坏作用。为此,从PEER(Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center)强震数据库中选取了789条近断层地震动作为输入,并从中识别出192条脉冲型地震动,重点分析了近断层脉冲型地震动与无脉冲地震动的能量谱差异,研究了地震动特征参数及恢复力模型参数对能量谱的影响,并建立了考虑脉冲效应的近断层地震动实用设计能量谱。结果表明:(1)场地越软,近断层地震动能量谱谱值越大,且各类场地下脉冲型地震动能量谱平均谱的谱值明显大于无脉冲地震动;(2)阻尼比ξ增大对输入能量谱具有削峰作用,并减缓其长周期段的衰减速度,延性比μ增大会提高输入能量谱及阻尼耗能谱峰值,并降低滞回耗能谱峰值,屈服后刚度比α对能量谱影响较小,可近似忽略其影响;(3)脉冲型地震动的输入能量设计谱平台段长度远大于无脉冲地震动,所建立的设计能量谱可为近断层区域基于能量的抗震设计提供参考。
