This paper considers a concrete stochastic nonlinear system with stochastic unmeasurable inverse dynamics. Motivated by the concept of integral input-to-state stability (iISS) in deterministic systems and stochastic input-to-state stability (SISS) in stochastic systems, a concept of stochastic integral input-to-state stability (SiISS) using Lyapunov functions is first introduced. A constructive strategy is proposed to design a dynamic output feedback control law, which drives the state to the origin almost surely while keeping all other closed-loop signals almost surely bounded. At last, a simulation is given to verify the effectiveness of the control law. 展开更多

In response to the growing complexity and performance of integrated circuit(IC),there is an urgent need to enhance the testing and stability of IC test equipment.A method was proposed to predict equipment stability using the upper side boundary value of normal distribution.Initially,the K-means clustering algorithm classifies and analyzes sample data.The accuracy of this boundary value is compared under two common confidence levels to select the optimal threshold.A range is then defined to categorize unqualified test data.Through experimental verification,the method achieves the purpose of measuring the stability of qualitative IC equipment through a deterministic threshold value and judging the stability of the equipment by comparing the number of unqualified data with the threshold value,which realizes the goal of long-term operation monitoring and stability analysis of IC test equipment. 展开更多

This paper presents a comprehensive summary of data, analyses and findings from the investigations over the past twelve years about the relics of large Longyou rock caverns carved about 2 000 years ago at shallow depths in argillaceous siltstone. The paper presents the typical features associated with the rock caverns. They include structures, large spans, portals, extreme shallow-buried depths, imprints, drainages, inclined ceiling, inclined sidewalls, slender rock pillars, rock staircases, site and strata selections, caving lighting, carving method, and underground construction surveying. They are used to reconstruct and highlight the design and construction methods adopted by the ancients. The paper further demonstrates that the relics of the complete large rock caverns are a consequence of coincidental combinations of ancient human effort and natural factors. The full occupation of water with weak acidity in the large rock caverns with the soft surrounding rocks of weak alkalinity is found to be the main factor ensuring and preserving the caverns to have been stable and integral over 2 000 years. However, the five unwatered complete rock cavern relics have been experiencing various deteriorations and small failures including cracks, seepage, small rock falls and delaminating ceiling rocks. Although these deteriorations have been repaired and stabilized effectively, the paper demonstrates that an entire roof collapse failure is highly possible in the near future to each of the five unwatered rock cavern relics. The findings presented in this paper are also invaluable both to the long-term protection and preservation of the large rock cavern relics of national and international interests and importance, and to extend and enrich our experience and knowledge on the long-term stability and integrity of man-made underground rock cavern engineering projects. 展开更多

This paper proposes a geometrically nonlinear total Lagrangian Galerkin meshfree formulation based on the stabilized conforming nodal integration for efficient analysis of shear deformable beam.The present nonlinear analysis encompasses the fully geometric nonlinearities due to large deflection,large deformation as well as finite rotation.The incremental equilibrium equation is obtained by the consistent linearization of the nonlinear variational equation.The Lagrangian meshfree shape function is utilized to discretize the variational equation.Subsequently to resolve the shear and membrane locking issues and accelerate the computation,the method of stabilized conforming nodal integration is systematically implemented through the Lagrangian gradient smoothing operation.Numerical results reveal that the present formulation is very effective. 展开更多

Thus, advanced stability analysis and regulation methods f... The integrated power system(IPS) is a foundation of all-electrical ships and vessels. The stability of IPS becomes a prerequisite of complicated cruise tasks. Thus, advanced stability analysis and regulation methods for IPS are of great importance. In this paper, a novel method is proposed for analyzing and enhancing transient stability of IPS, which is regarded as a cyber-physical system comprising of subsystems and connections. Criterions for determining input-output stability of such a system are firstly derived. Then, the stability analysis of IPS can be performed in the following two steps: 1) evaluating local input-output stability features of each subsystem independently through simulations. 2) Checking stability criterions with system topology and subsystem stability features. Moreover, synthetic approaches are proposed for stabilization and stability enhancement of IPS. To avoid system in-stability after major failures or topology changes, the optimal emergency control is performed to reconfigure subsystems. The other optimal regulation is used to strengthen system stability by adjusting subsystems' control parameters during normal operation conditions. Case studies on a typical IPS validate the proposed stability analysis and enhancement approach. 展开更多

This paper proposes a novel numerical solution approach for the kinematic shakedown analysis of strain-hardening thin plates using the C^(1)nodal natural element method(C^(1)nodal NEM).Based on Koiter’s theorem and the von Mises and two-surface yield criteria,a nonlinear mathematical programming formulation is constructed for the kinematic shakedown analysis of strain-hardening thin plates,and the C^(1)nodal NEM is adopted for discretization.Additionally,König’s theory is used to deal with time integration by treating the generalized plastic strain increment at each load vertex.A direct iterative method is developed to linearize and solve this formulation by modifying the relevant objective function and equality constraints at each iteration.Kinematic shakedown load factors are directly calculated in a monotonically converging manner.Numerical examples validate the accuracy and convergence of the developed method and illustrate the influences of limited and unlimited strain-hardening models on the kinematic shakedown load factors of thin square and circular plates. 展开更多

By D-decomposition technique, the existence conditions and calculating method of the real root boundary(RRB) curves, complex root boundary(CRB) curves and infinite root boundary(IRB)lines are investigated for a given stability degree. The robust stabilizing regions in terms of the RRB curves, CRB curves and IRB lines are identified by the proposed criteria in this paper. In recent years,vehicle state estimation methods incorporating different vehicle models have received extensive attention.When the vehicle is disturbed by external forces not considered in traditional vehicle models(for example,a certain slope,or wind resistance different from theoretical calculation),the problem of model mismatch will occur,which leads to the inaccurate estimation of the vehicle states.To solve this problem,an Unscented Kalman Filter(UKF)algorithm is used to fuse inertial navigation data with the vehicle hybrid model in this paper.The hybrid model introduces a switching strategy that fuses the vehicle kinematics and the dynamics models while augmenting biases that need to be estimated in the vehicle states.The switching strategy resolves the integration divergence problem of vehicle dynamics models at low speeds and the inaccurate estimation of vehicle kinematics models at high speeds.Simulation experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can accurately estimate biases induced by external forces,enhancing the accuracy and confidence of states by eliminating errors caused by these biases.The robustness of the method is validated in vehicle verification platform experiments,where errors in vehicle lateral speed and yaw rate are reduced by 9.7 cm/s and 0.012°/s,respectively,under large curvature maneuvers,and 9.6 cm/s and 0.004°/s under quarter-turn maneuvers.The proposed method significantly improves lateral speed and vehicle position accuracies. 展开更多

An efficient Galerkin meshfree formulation for three dimensional simulation of large deformation failure evolution in soils is presented. This formulation utilizes the stabilized conforming nodal integration, where for the purpose of stability and efficiency a Lagrangian smoothing strain at nodal point is constructed and thereafter the internal energy is evaluated nodally. This formulation ensures the linear exactness, efficiency and spatial stability in a unified manner and it makes the conventional Galerkin meshfree method affordable for three dimensional simulation. The three dimensional implementation of stabilized conforming nodal integration is discussed in details. To model the failure evolution in soil medium a coupled elasto-plastic damage model is used and an objective stress integration algorithm in combination of elasto-damage predictor and plastic corrector method is employed for stress update. Two typical numerical examples are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the present method for modeling large deformation soil failure. 展开更多

We present the long-term stability of the integrating sphere cold atom clock(ISCAC) and analyze its systematic limitations. The relative frequency instability of 2.6 × 10-15 is reached for an averaging time of 2 ×105 s. The second-order Zeeman effect and the cavity pulling effect in ISCAC, which would induce the frequency drift from the clock transition, are analyzed. The analytical and experimental results indicate that the cavity pulling effect is the main contribution to the long-term frequency instability of the ISCAC. Further technical improvements to the microwave cavity are also discussed. 展开更多
