Objective:A positive and successful transition into university is crucial.Transition to the college environment is a critical situation that can impact students holistically.The study aimed to examine the relationship...Objective:A positive and successful transition into university is crucial.Transition to the college environment is a critical situation that can impact students holistically.The study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic adjustment among undergraduate student s in Oman.Methods:The study utilized a descriptive correlational and cross-sectional study design.The total sample was 339 based on defined inclusion criteria.The study used Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire and Academic Adjustment Scale to investig a te the extents of the research phenomena among undergraduate students.Results:The average age of the participants was 21.5 years.The level of AD and EI was on medium.However,the findings revealed a strong positive relationship(r=0.703)between emo t ional intelligence and academic adjustment among undergraduate students.Conclusion:Emotional intelligence may increase over time through the academic life.It can help students develop adequate social skills and bondings to satisfy academic demands and p romote their social,moral,and cognitive abilities and adjustment.展开更多

This intelligent system has three major functions:ECEI system reboot, measurement region adjustment and signal amplitude optimization. The observation region of ECEI can be modified for different physics proposals by remotely tuning the optical and electronics systems. Via the remote adjustment of the attenuation level, the ECEI intermediate frequency signal amplitude can be efficiently optimized. The remote control system provides a feasible and reliable solution for the improvement of signal quality and the efficiency of the ECEI diagnostic system, which is also valuable for other diagnostic systems.展开更多

The system calibration is divided into two parts: the in-labcalibration determines the fixed parameters in advance of system operation, and the in-situcalibration keeps tracking the free parameters in real-time during the system operation. In a videosurveillance set-up, prepared control points are tracked in stereo image sequences, so that the freeparameters of the system can be continuously updated through iterative bundle adjustment and Kalmanfiltering.展开更多
Shale gas wells frequently suffer from liquid loading and insufficient formation pressure in the late stage of production.To address this issue,an intelligent production optimization method for low pressure and low pr...Shale gas wells frequently suffer from liquid loading and insufficient formation pressure in the late stage of production.To address this issue,an intelligent production optimization method for low pressure and low productivity shale gas well is proposed.Based on the artificial intelligence algorithms,this method realizes automatic production and monitoring of gas well.The method can forecast the production performance of a single well by using the long short-term memory neural network and then guide gas well production accordingly,to fulfill liquid loading warning and automatic intermittent production.Combined with adjustable nozzle,the method can keep production and pressure of gas wells stable automatically,extend normal production time of shale gas wells,enhance automatic level of well sites,and reach the goal of refined production management by making production regime for each well.Field tests show that wells with production regime optimized by this method increased 15%in estimated ultimate reserve(EUR).Compared with the development mode of drainage after depletion recovery,this method is more economical and can increase and stabilize production effectively,so it has a bright application prospect.展开更多
