As an emerging hot technology, smart grids(SGs)are being employed in many fields, such as smart homes and smart cities. Moreover, the application of artificial intelligence(AI)in SGs has promoted the development of the power industry. However,as users’demands for electricity increase, traditional centralized power trading is unable to well meet the user demands and an increasing number of small distributed generators are being employed in trading activities. This not only leads to numerous security risks for the trading data but also has a negative impact on the cost of power generation, electrical security, and other aspects.Accordingly, this study proposes a distributed power trading scheme based on blockchain and AI.To protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and producers, credibility is used as an indicator to restrict untrustworthy behavior.Simultaneously, the reliability and communication capabilities of nodes are considered in block verification to improve the transaction confirmation efficiency, and a weighted communication tree construction algorithm is designed to achieve superior data forwarding. Finally,AI sensors are set up in power equipment to detect electricity generation and transmission, which alert users when security hazards occur, such as thunderstorms or typhoons. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme can not only improve the trading security but also reduce system communication delays. 展开更多

A full distribution CNC system based on SERCOS bus is studied in accordance with the limitations of traditional PC-based motion card. The conventional PC-based motion control card is dispersed into several autonomous intelligent servo-control units with the function of servo driver. The autonomous intelligent servocontrol units realize the loop control of position, velocity and current. Interpolation computation is completed in PC and the computational results are transferred to every autonomous intelligent servo-control unit by high speed SERCOS bus. Software or hardware synchronization technology is used to ensure all servomotors are successive and synchronously running. The communication and synchronization technology of SERCOS are also researched and the autonomous intelligent servo-control card is developed byself. Finally, the experiment of circle contour process on a prototype system proves the feasibility. 展开更多

Individuals exchange information, experience and strategy based on communication.Communication is the basis for individuals to form swarms and the bridge of swarms to realize cooperative control. In this paper, the multirobot swarm and its cooperative control and communication methods are reviewed, and we summarize these methods from the task, control, and perception levels.Based on the research, the cooperative control and communication methods of intelligent swarms are divided into the following four categories:task assignment based methods(divided into market-based methods and alliance based methods),bio-inspired methods(divided into biochemical information inspired methods, vision based methods and self-organization based methods),distributed sensor fusion and reinforcement learning based methods, and we briefly define each method and introduce its basic ideas.Based on WOS database,we divide the development of each method into several stages according to the time distribution of the literature, and outline the main research content of each stage. Finally,we discuss the communication problems of intelligent swarms and the key issues, challenges and future work of each method. 展开更多

The average bit error rate (BER) performance of a free-space optical (FOS) system based on the multi-hop parallel decode-and-forward cooperative communication method with an M-ary phase shift keying subcarrier intensity modulation is studied systematically. With the max-min criterion as the best path selection scheme, the probability density function and the cumulative distribution function of the gamma-gamma distribution random variable signal-to-noise ratio are derived. The analytical BER expression is then obtained in terms of the Gauss-Laguerre quadrature rule. Monte Carlo simulation is also provided to confirm the validity of the presented average BER model. 展开更多

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks(VANETs)become a very crucial addition in the Intelligent Transportation System(ITS).It is challenging for a VANET system to provide security services and parallelly maintain high throughput by utilizing limited resources. To overcome these challenges,we propose a blockchain-based Secured Cluster-based MAC(SCB-MAC)protocol.The nearby vehicles heading towards the same direction will form a cluster and each of the clusters has its blockchain to store and distribute the safety messages. The message which contains emergency information and requires Strict Delay Requirement(SDR)for transmission are called safety messages(SM).Cluster Members(CMs)sign SMs with their private keys while sending them to the blockchain to confirm authentication, integrity, and confidentiality of the message.A Certificate Authority(CA)is responsible for physical verification, key generation, and privacy preservation of the vehicles. We implemented a test scenario as proof of concept and tested the safety message transmission(SMT)protocol in a real-world platform.Computational and storage overhead analysis shows that the proposed protocol for SMT implements security,authentication,integrity,robustness,non-repudiation,etc.while maintaining the SDR.Messages that are less important compared to the SMs are called non-safety messages(NSM)and vehicles use RTS/CTS mechanism for NSM transmission.Numerical studies show that the proposed NSM transmission method maintains 6 times more throughput,2 times less delay and 125%less Packet Dropping Rate(PDR)than traditional MAC protocols. These results prove that the proposed protocol outperforms the traditional MAC protocols. 展开更多

The symbol error rate (SER) performance of a multipulse pulse-position modulation (MPPM) free space optical (FSO) system under the combined effect of turbulence-induced fading modeled by exponentiated Weibull (EW) distribution and pointing errors with a soft-decision detector is investigated systematically. Particularly, the theoretical conditional SER (CSER) of soft-decision decoded MPPM is derived. The corresponding closed-form CSER is obtained via curve fitting with the Levenberg-Marquardt method. The analytical SER expression over the aggregated fading channels is then achieved in terms of Laguerre integration. Monte Carlo simulation results are also offered to corroborate the validity of the proposed SER model. 展开更多
