The Shimian area of Sichuan sits at the junction of the Bayan Har block.Sichuan-Yunnan rhombic block,and Yangtze block,where several faults intersect.This region features intense tectonic activity and frequent earthqu...The Shimian area of Sichuan sits at the junction of the Bayan Har block.Sichuan-Yunnan rhombic block,and Yangtze block,where several faults intersect.This region features intense tectonic activity and frequent earthquakes.In this study,we used local seismic waveform data recorded using dense arrays deployed in the Shimian area to obtain the shear wave splitting parameters at 55 seismic stations and thereby determine the crustal anisotropic characteristics of the region.We then analyzed the crustal stress pattern and tectonic setting and explored their relationship in the study area.Although some stations returned a polarization direction of NNW-SSE.a dominant polarization direction of NW-SE was obtained for the fast shear wave at most seismic stations in the study area.The polarization directions of the fast shear wave were highly consistent throughout the study-area.This orientation was in accordance with the direction of the regional principal compressive stress and parallel to the trend of the Xianshuihe and Daliangshan faults.The distribution of crustal anisotropy in this area was affected by the regional tectonic stress field and the fault structures.The mean delay time between fast and slow shear waves was 3.83 ms/km.slightly greater than the values obtained in other regions of Sichuan.This indicates that the crustal media in our study area had a high anisotropic strength and also reveals the influence of tectonic complexity resulting from the intersection of multiple faults on the strength of seismic anisotropy.展开更多

Since 2006, there has been a rapid increase in the number of citations of China's interna- tional papers in the field of communications. In accordance with the goals listed in the NPMLDST, China needs to over- take several competitors by 2020 to be among the top five countries in the field of natural science field. By comparing two Essential Science Indicators (ESI) (i.e., the total number of citations and the number of citations per paper) for China and other countries, China's annual growth rate is found to exceed that of other influential countries in the field of sci- ence and technology, and exhibits evident growth-type characteristics. Besides, our study also shows that the short- age of high-quality academic papers in China is the main obstacle to improving the impact of China's academic publications.展开更多

Standardized citation of scientific dat...Scientific data citation is a common behavior in the process of scientific research and writing academic papers under the context of data-intensive scientific research paradigm. Standardized citation of scientific data has received continuous attention from academia and policy management departments in recent years. In order to explore the characteristics and the correlation of scientific data citations of Chinese researchers, based on the results of scientific data citations presented in academic papers, this study use CNKI as the data source to extract771 papers in 12 academic journals during 2017 to 2019. Combining with the Chinese national standard Information Technology-Scientific Data Citation(GB/T 35294-2017), a set of variables were given to reflect the reference characteristics. First, 4992 citation records of scientific data were manually identified and coded one by one, and the citation characteristics were presented with the statistical distribution of data frequency. Then, the chi-square test, log-linear model analysis, and correspondence analysis methods were used to analyze and explore the significant correlation among the characteristic variables. The study found that in general, the phenomenon of scientific data citations in Chinese researchers is widespread, and the number of citations has increased year by year, but there are also a large number of irregular citations. At present, there are roughly two modes of citation labeling behavior, and the traditional document citation mode is still the mainstream citation method for data citation. Furthermore, distributor type of scientific data may affect the reference in marked way. In addition, the completeness of the labeling elements differed in different bibliographic elements of scientific data. Irregular references to Unique Identifiers and parsing addresses are particularly prominent, which may be related to the type of distributor.展开更多
