The Procedure of an International Student Studying Abroad:A Case Study

As it is examined and concluded by many researchers,studying abroad has been common when students are trying to receive higher quality education.Cross-cultural adjustment is also regarded as a compulsory term to consider,and the way to get involved in the host culture has also been deeply investigated in this procedure.Therefore,this paper aims at identifying the factors that cause cultural barriers,as well as finding solutions to cope with them.In this study,a case study research method is employed and the result will be beneficial to support future research in similar fields.

Research on the Current Situation of China’s Higher Education Students Studying Abroad in the Context of Higher Education Internationalization

In the context of education internationalization,the internationalization of higher education has become a major trend in the field of education in most countries,with international student education as the core.This phenomenon promotes cultural exchanges and integration among countries as well as higher education reform,which is of great significance in enhancing the international influence of higher education in each country.However,there are also some challenges faced by higher education students when studying abroad.The article digs into the origin and history of studying abroad,analyzes the current situation and reasons for higher education students in China to study abroad,discusses the opportunities and challenges faced by higher education students in China when studying abroad,and analyzes the trend of studying abroad in China.

Introducing China International Studies

The world situation is experiencing profound and complex changes. With the further deepening of economic globalization, various countries with interwoven interests are becoming increasingly interdependent and interrelated. A large number of big developing countries are rising, adding fresh rich elements to the trend of development toward multi-polarity.

Genome-Wide Association Studies Reveal New Genetic Targets for Five Panicle Traits of International Rice Varieties

Narrow genetic background is a key limiting factor in breeding stable high-yielding rice. The introduction and utilization of international rice core germplasm is an important way to increase the genetic diversity of domestic rice varieties. We conducted a genome-wide association study on 5 panicle traits of 315 rice accessions introduced from the international rice micro-core germplasm bank. Based on the tests from Yangzhou of China and Arkansas of American, environment exhibited a significant impacts on panicle length and primary branch number, while grain length, grain width and grain length/width ratio were insensitive to environment changes. We discovered a total of 7, 5, 10, 8 and 6 chromosomal regions or single nucleotide polymorphism marker loci that were significantly associated with primary branch number, panicle length, grain length, grain width and grain length/width ratio, respectively. Among them, eleven regions were associated with grain shape and one region associated with primary branch number, showing the good consistence in two different environments. Significant linear correlation was discovered between the average trait value and the number of favorable alleles carried by the varieties in all associated loci. Among the associated loci, varieties in aromatic and tropical japonica sub-groups possessed most favorable alleles, while those in temperate japonica sub-group contained the least. The domestic varieties mainly harbored unfavorable alleles in six of the associated loci being detected. On the contrary, 15 varieties from 11 different countries harbored more favorable alleles （as many as 30 or more） than the others. Remarkably, all these 15 varieties belonged to the tropical japonica sub-group. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that varieties in the tropical japonica sub-group had high potentials for breeding stable high-yielding rice. Based on this discovery, we proposed a new approach for improving the panicle traits of domestic rice by using tropical japonica varieties.

Over the past two decades,the convergences of translation studies and international business studies have attracted a growing amount of attention from stakeholders in the respective research field.This is particularly because professionals and scholars in international business and management realize the importance of the role of language and translation in international trade and multilingual communication.The research results in this interdisciplinary field could provide basis for making critical decisions,such as the staff recruitment,company language policy and company development strategy.However,few reviews have been available that provide a comprehensive overview of relevant practice and research in this cross-disciplinary efforts.The present article therefore aims to offer a state-of-the-art review and investigate the existing literature to map the main research topics and discover future agenda.This article first provides an overview of the perception of“translation”,the role of translator,and translational activities in international business studies.Second,the review focuses on the translation and knowledge transfer in multinational corporations.Lastly,it identifies future directions towards the cross-fertility of the interdisciplinary collaboration.

内蒙古自治区社区5类精神障碍患者精神卫生服务利用现状

目的:描述内蒙古自治区社区5类精神障碍终生患者精神卫生服务利用现况,为健康教育和制定相关政策提供参考。方法:采用分层多阶段不等概率抽样方法抽取内蒙古自治区18岁及以上常住居民共12 315名,采用复合性国际诊断交谈表调查心境障碍、焦虑障碍、物质使用障碍、间歇爆发性障碍、进食障碍等5类精神障碍及精神卫生服务利用现况,以单因素分析方法进行描述性统计。结果:5类精神障碍中,任何一种精神障碍终生患者咨询率为18.7%,治疗率为10.2%,患者接受非医务工作者治疗的比例最高(31.4%),其次是接受精神科或心理科医生治疗;患者中有1.1%的患者接受药物治疗,有2.5%的患者接受心理治疗。结论:内蒙古自治区精神障碍患者精神卫生服务利用率较低,要广泛开展正确求医的健康教育。

国际货币权力是国际金融学研究的重要组成部分,文章整理并总结了国内外学者关于国际货币权力研究的理论成果,并从国际货币权力的定义、来源、分类、改革构想以及不同国家的国际货币权力等多个维度对国内外学者的相关研究文献进行系统梳理和评述,指出现有文献的主要贡献和不足,并提出进一步研究的可能方向。

“一带一路”倡议十周年之际,第二届区域国别学交叉学科高峰论坛的举办意义尤为重大。论坛以新时代区域国别学的使命为主题,围绕区域国别学交叉学科的学科构建、学科内涵、跨学科研究的理论与方法、复合型人才培养体系、本硕博贯通学制、学科建设的国际比较、跨学科管理、科研平台建设、师资队伍建设、实践模式与路径,以及区域国别学与国际政治语言学、国际传播、国际中文教育、外交话语的关系,区域国别学自主知识体系建构等诸多具体议题,进行了深入研讨和交流。会议的目的是促成区域国别学在新时代的体系化、系统化发展。

2023年泰国研究发展报告

2022年9月区域国别学成为交叉学科门类下的一级学科,2023年是区域国别学学科建设的开局之年。泰国一直是区域国别学研究的重要国家之一。泰国的王朝政治、民族意识、社会文化、历史记忆、华侨华人以及地缘战略等问题是中外学者的研究重点,相关研究理论成果相对丰硕。这既为新时代背景下的泰国国别学研究奠定了坚实的基础,也为有效回应构建中泰命运共同体的现实需要提供了理论支持。为此,总结梳理2023年中外学者的泰国研究主要的议题与研究动态,把握泰国区域国别学研究方向与发展趋势,反思其研究存在不足并进行未来研究展望是必要且具有重要的理论和实践价值。
