Two mixes are based on optimization of HPC whereas the third mix was a commercial mix developed by CONTEC ApS (Denmark). The wedge splitting test setup with 48 cubical specimens was used experimentally and the cracked non-linear hinge model based on the fictitious crack model was applied for the interpretation of the results. The stress-crack opening relationships were extracted by using inverse analysis algorithm for various multi-linear softening curves. This showed that the refinement of the softening curves reflects in improved accuracy of the WST (wedge splitting test) simulation in comparison with bi-linear softening curves with acceptable increase of computational time. Furthermore, the fracture mechanics parameters such as COD (crack opening displacement), fracture energy and characteristic length were experimentally determined. Experiments were performed at 1, 3, 7 and 28 days. Fracture energy, Gf, was found to increase with age, while the characteristic length, Lch, was found to decrease.展开更多

A potential high-resolution method for the aforementioned purpose lies in the full-waveform inversion(FWI) of time-lapse seismic data. However, practical applications of FWI are severely restricted by the well-known cycle-skipping problem. A new time-lapse FWI method using cross-correlation-based dynamic time warping(CDTW) is proposed to detect changes in the subsurface property due to carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) injection and address the aforementioned issue. The proposed method, namely CDTW, which combines the advantages of cross-correlation and dynamic time warping, is employed in the automatic estimation of the discrepancy between the seismic signals simulated using the baseline/initial model and those acquired. The proposed FWI method can then back-project the estimated discrepancy to the subsurface space domain, thereby facilitating retrieval of the induced subsurface property change by taking the difference between the inverted baseline and monitor models. Numerical results on pairs of signals prove that CDTW can obtain reliable shifts under amplitude modulation and noise contamination conditions. The performance of CDTW substantially outperforms that of the conventional dynamic time warping method. The proposed time-lapse fullwaveform inversion(FWI) method is applied to the Frio-2 CO_(2) storage model. The baseline and monitor models are inverted from the corresponding time-lapse seismic data. The changes in velocity due to CO_(2) injection are reconstructed by the difference between the baseline and the monitor models.展开更多

In order to measure their anisotropic behavior, planar biaxial tests are often used. Typically, hooks are attached along the borders of a square sample of arterial tissue. Cruciform samples clamped with grips can also be used. The current debate on the effect of different biaxial test boundary conditions revolves around the uniformity of the stress distribution in the center of the specimen. Uniaxial tests are also commonly used due to simplicity of data analysis, but their capability to fully describe the in vivo behavior of a tissue remains to be proven. In this study, we demonstrate the use of inverse modeling to fit the material properties by taking into account the non-uniform stress distribution, and discuss the differences between the three types of tests. Square and cruciform samples were dissected from pig aortas and tested equi-biaxially. Rectangular samples were used in uniaxial testing as well. On the square samples, forces were applied on each side of edge sample attached with hooks, and strains were measured in the center using optical tracking of ink dots. On the cruciform and rectangular samples, displacements were applied on grip clamps and forces were measured on the clamps. Each type of experiment was simulated with the finite element method. The parameters of the Mooney-Rivlin constitutive model were adjusted with an optimization algorithm so that the simulation predictions fitted the experimental results. Higher stretch ratios (>1.5) were reached in the cruciform and rectangular samples than in the square samples before failure. Therefore, the nonlinear behavior of the tissue in large deformations was better captured by the cruciform biaxial test and the uniaxial test, than by the square biaxial test. Advantages of cruciform samples over square samples include: 1) higher deformation range;2) simpler data acquisition and 3) easier attachment of sample. However, the nonuniform stress distribution in cruciform samples requires the use of inverse modeling adjustment of constitutive model parameters.展开更多

Updated analyses of past aquifer tests allow for improved interpretations of the data to enhance the knowledge and the predictive capabilities of the flow system. This work thoroughly reanalyzes a series of pre- and post-hydraulic fracturing, single-well aquifer tests conducted in two crystalline rock wells in New Hampshire as part of an early 1970’s study. Previous analyses of the data had relied on older manual type-curve methods for predicting the possible effects of hydraulic fracturing. This work applies inverse analysis, derivative analysis, and diagnostic plots to reanalyze the 1970’s aquifer test data. Our results demonstrate that the aquifer tests were affected by changes in flow regimes, dewatering of the aquifer and discrete fractures, and changes due to well development. Increases in transmissivities are related to well development prior to hydraulic fracturing, propagation of a single, vertical fracture hydraulically connecting the two wells after stimulation and expansion of troughs of depression. After hydraulic fracturing, the estimated total yield of the individual wells increased by 2.5 times due to the hydraulic fracturing. However, the wells may be receiving water from the same source, and well interference may affect any significant increase in their combined yield. Our analyses demonstrate the value in applying inverse analysis, derivative analysis, and diagnostic plots over the conventional method of manual type-curve analysis. In addition, our improvement in the aquifer test interpretation of the 1970’s test data has implications for more reliable estimates of sustained well yields.展开更多

An experimental system for multi-layered thickness measurement was developed and several fitting models to formulate the relationships between detected impedance/voltage measurements and thickness are put forward using least square method. The determination of multi-layered thicknesses was investigated after inversing the voltage outputs of the detecting system. The best fitting and inversion models are presented.
文摘U-wave changes during treadmill exercise test were compared between 34 patientswith CAD and 33 normal controls. All of them were confirmed by coronary angiographv.Tenpatients with CAD and 1 normal subject in this study showed U-wave inversion during exercisetest.Of the 10 patients,4 had significant stenosis in one-vessel and 6 in multi-vessel of the ma-jor coronary arteries. The sensitivity, specificity and predictive value of exercise-inducedU-wave inversion were 29%, 97% and 91%,respectively.It is proposed that exercise inducedU-wave inversion is a reliable predictive index of CAD.

文摘Severe vibration of underground structures may be induced under blast loads. According to the characteristics of the explosion-induced ground shock wave, a new-type damper, inverse control magneto-rheological(MR) damper was designed to control the vibration, The high-frequency performance test of the MR damper was carried out on the small shaking table. It is shown that the performance can be modeled by use of the modified Bouc-Wen model, and the Parameters of the model keep stable in the range of 15--50 Hz.

文摘Due to the electrical anisotropy of carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP),this paper presents a method to inverse the anisotropic conductivity of unidirectional CFRP laminate using eddy current testing(ECT). The relationship between the conductivity and probe signal of ECT is studied by means of numerical simulation. Finally, the accuracy of inversion result is improved by optimizing the initial conductivity by use of experimental data.

文摘In this paper,we suggested and studied the inverse length biased Maxell distribution(ILBMD)as a new continuous distribution of one parameter. The ILBMD is obtained by considering the inverse transformation technique of the Maxwell length biased distribution.Statistical characteristics of the ILBMD such as the moments, moment generating function, mode, quantile function, the coefficient of variation, coefficient of skewness,Moors and Bowley measures of kurtosis and skewness, stochastic ordering,stress-strength reliability, and mean deviations are obtained. In addition, the Bonferroni and Lorenz curves,Gini index, the reliability function, the hazard rate function, the reverse hazard rate function, the odds function, and the distributions of order statistics for the ILBMD,are presented. The ILBMD parameter is estimated using the maximum likelihood method, the method of moments, the maximum product of spacing technique, the ordinary and weight least square procedures, and the Cramer-Von-Mises methods. The Fishers information,as well as the Rényi and q-entropies,are derived. To investigate the usefulness of the proposed lifetime distribution and to illustrate the purpose of the study,a real dataset of the relief times of 20 patients receiving an analgesic is used.

文摘Aiming at the Four-Dimensional Variation source term inversion algorithm proposed earlier, the observation error regularization factor is introduced to improve the prediction accuracy of the diffusion model, and an improved Four-Dimensional Variation source term inversion algorithm with observation error regularization(OER-4DVAR STI model)is formed.Firstly,by constructing the inversion process and basic model of OER-4DVAR STI model, its basic principle and logical structure are studied.Secondly, the observation error regularization factor estimation method based on Bayesian optimization is proposed, and the error factor is separated and optimized by two parameters:error statistical time and deviation degree. Finally, the scientific, feasible and advanced nature of the OER-4DVAR STI model are verified by numerical simulation and tracer test data. The experimental results show that OER-4DVAR STI model can better reverse calculate the hazard source term information under the conditions of high atmospheric stability and flat underlying surface.Compared with the previous inversion algorithm, the source intensity estimation accuracy of OER-4DVAR STI model is improved by about 46.97%,and the source location estimation accuracy is improved by about 26.72%.
