Their results show that for q ≠ 1, q-Bernstein polynomials possess of many interesting properties. In this paper, the convergence rate for iterates of both q-Bernstein polynomials and their Boolean sum are estimated. Moreover, the saturation of {Bn(., qn)} when n → ∞ and convergence rate of Bn(f,q;x) when f ∈ C^n-1 [0, 1], q → ∞ are also presented. 展开更多

In this Letter, we present a novel design method of image-side telecentric freeform imaging systems. The freeform surfaces in the system can be generated using a point-by-point design approach starting from an initial system consisting of simple planes. The proposed method considers both the desired object–image relationships and the telecentricity at the image-side during the design process. The system generated by this method can be taken as a good starting point for further optimization. To demonstrate the benefit and feasibility of our method,we design two freeform off-axis three-mirror image-side telecentric imaging systems in the visible band. The systems operate at F/1.9 with a 30 mm entrance pupil diameter and 5° diagonal field-of-view. The modulation-transfer-function curves are above 0.69 at 100 lps/mm. 展开更多

In this paper, a novel soft reliability-based iterative majority-logic decoding algorithm with uniform quantization is proposed for regularly structured low density parity-check(LDPC) codes. A weighted measure is introduced for each check-sum of the parity-check matrix and a scaling factor is used to weaken the overestimation of extrinsic information. Furthermore, the updating process of the reliability measure takes advantage of turbo-like iterative decoding strategy. The main computational complexity of the proposed algorithm only includes logical and integer operations with the bit uniform quantization criterion. Simulation results show that the novel decoding algorithm can achieve excellent error-correction performance and a fast decoding convergence speed. 展开更多
