Crossing the Growth Threshold： Service-Based Economy, Knowledge Process and Reshaping of Efficiency Model

The transition from middle-income to high-income stage is fraught with risks of growth divergence. Economic transition is clouded by the following possibilities： （1）falling share of industrial seetor through industrial depression and weakening growth momentum caused by the large urbanization costs; （2） the subordination of service sector as a result of nearly irreversibly industrial professional, which falters the process of service sector transition and upgrading,＂ （3） inefficient knowledge production allocation and human capital upgrade due to the absence of incentivized compensation of knowledge consumption. We suggest that a country should reshape its efficiency model by upgrading knowledge factor and human capital as the pre-requisite. Given the dilemmas of transition, China should take the faetorization trend of service sector and reshape efficiency model through institutional reform, ensuring that service sector will develop in tandem with industrial sector.

The bibliometrics survey of ecological economic research:A knowledge mapping analysis based on the SCI and SSCI database

Based on bibliometrics and knowledge mapping analysis method,this paper uses CiteSpace,a visual literature analysis tool,to analyze 3794 related documents with the theme of“economic economy”in SCI and SSCI databases from 2010 to 2020,including authors,institutions,subject headings and literature co-citation,so as to reveal the development and hot spots of ecological economic research.The results show that in recent years,the number of documents on ecological economic research has been increasing,and developed countries are dominant.China’s research in this field has developed rapidly and has certain advantages in terms of quantity and quality.The institution with the largest number of papers is Chinese Academy Science,followed by Beijing Normal University,University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Peking University and Universitat autonomy de Barcelona;research hotspots in recent 10 years include“sustainability”,“management”,“climate change”,“impact”,“economy”,“china”,“conservation”,“ecosystem service”,etc.The top three journals are Sustainability,Journal of Cleaner Production,and Ecological Economics,accounting for about 10%of the total number of papers published.The hot spots of ecological economic research in 2010-2020 can be divided into three stages,with different theme words emerging in each stage.From 2018 to 2020,the theme word of high-strength emergence is“anthropocene”,which indicates that“anthropocene”may be the focus of future research.

Expanding the Definition and Measurement of Knowledge Economy： Integrating Triple Bottom Line Factors into Knowledge Economy Index Models and Methodologies

The application of knowledge is a primary source of growth in the knowledge economy. The World Bank Group has developed a rigorous assessment methodology for assessing a country＇s ability to access and use knowledge to become more competitive in the knowledge economy of the 21st century. The World Bank＇s annual knowledge economy index is grounded on a four-pillar model： （1） economic incentives and institutional regime; （2） education and skills; （3） information and communication infrastructure; and （4） innovation systems. An argument can be made that the model lacks coverage of some key factors that pertain to intellectual capital and the production and consumption of knowledge. The model＇s heavy focus on economic incentives and open institutional regimes comes at a societal cost. This paper proposes an alternative knowledge economy index which is grounded in a more holistic and balanced view of a knowledge society. Adopting the perspective of triple bottom line shifts the purpose and design of a knowledge economy from one of aggregation and reporting to action and involvement. The World Bank＇s scorecard and indexing methodology are adaptable to this new perspective and a new set of indicators.

Competitive Intelligence Management in Knowledge Economy

This paper is to discuss management of competitive Intelligence （CI） from the viewpoint of knowledge management, in which the author creatively uses adapted SECI model to make explanation, and points out the different roles played by individual and organization in this process. At the end of this paper, some implications are given in respect with some fundamental problems with application of individual knowledge and organizational knowledge resulting from their idiosyncrasy, and orientation for CI management.

Manpower, institution and the growth of knowledge economy in Shanghai

This paper examines the concept of knowledge economy, manpower, high-educated laborers with innovative capabilities, institutional problems and their relations. It argues that manpower is the key element for the growth of knowledge economy in general, and people with innovative capabilities are the centre of manpower in particular. In Shanghai, although great progress has been made concerning with the reforms and development of high-tech industry, institutional problems are still the main obstacles for further development of high educated labor market and then the growth of knowledge economy. The reasons have been: 1) a less effective mechanism with the remaining of state ownership system; 2) a still powerful bureaucratic system, or more precisely, bureaucratic practice referring to these. Suggestions for further reforms and policy reformulation have been examined and discussed in the end.

Digital Communication： The Conflicts in the Transmission and Distribution of Information in the Era of Knowledge Economy

This article analyzes the concentration of production and distribution of information, from the analysis of the news in major international news agencies.The biopolitics is more and more interconnected to social, cultural, economical, and political matters, which led us to see in the contemporary scenario the creation of new forms of social organization which will determine how we interact with each other and how we face the world. Additionally, questions emerge about the usage of the means of communication, particularly those related to Technology of Communication and Information （TICs）. The influence of the media over the social-cultural activities tends to create homogenizations of senses, aiming a planetary visibility in a process that can not only disfigure but destroy many symbolic representations and cultural forms. On the other hand, globalization tends to, instead of minimize the differences in the world, ended up creating new conflicts that, through the usage of new technologies of communication, expresses and articulate themselves.

Research on the New English Language Teaching Approach based on Sharing of the Knowledge Economy under the MOOCs Background

In this paper, we conduct research on the new English language teaching approach based on sharing of the knowledge economy under the MOOC background. College English teaching is the core part of education in colleges and universities that are leading an indicator of college teaching can reveal most times the imprinting to teaching in colleges and universities. College English teaching from scratch, since the childhood, beyond the difficulty of the teaching area, through the teaching of confusion, but always insist on teaching idea of development as the center, continuously innovative fusion of gesture to the new development of English teaching to maximize the realization of the value of English teaching and cultivate highly qualified English talents for the society. Our research uses the MOOC platform to optimize the traditional education pattern which is innovative.

Knowledge Economy-The Sustainable Development Economy

Reviewing evolution of natural resources utilization mode in different economic formation, the paper elaborates the meanings of knowledge economy, and points our that the cause of unsustainabte development is the acute contradiction between the taw of ecosystem and the law of economy. It also points out that the essence of sustainable development is the harmonious relation between economy and the ecosystem. Therefore. the resources allocation should be considered from the aspect of the market demand and the aspect of the supply of t he ecosystem. That is to say, firsthy, the scale and pace of economy growth must be adapted to the supply capability of the ecosystem under the current technology, Secondly, based on the supply ability of the ecosystem, we should make it clear how to make limited resources allocation attains equilibrium between market supply and demand. The paper clarifies that in the mode of knowledge economy; we may transform the way of economy growth, form optimum economy structure, change the base of resource supply, strengthen the supply capability of ecosystem expand the production-possibility frontier, and finally accomplish the eco-economy coordinated development through the innovation of institution and technology. The essence of sustainable development and the sustainable characteristics of knowledge economy that were discussed above determine that knowledge economy is an economy of sustainable development.

Transforming Chinese Government＇s Functions Based on Knowledge Economy

Based on the nature of Knowledge Economy, this paper discusses the necessity and urgency for Chinese government to adjust its functions in the new economy; presents some concrete strategies of taking good chances and meeting the challenges of Knowledge Economy, including creating and protecting intellectual property rights, enhancing knowledge management, solving the problem of fairness and efficiency, breaking down local protectionism and building national innovation system.

Role of knowledge economy in managing demand-based environmental Kuznets Curve

Aggregate demand or supply at equilibrium is commonly used as a representative of the macroeconomic activity of an economy whereby aggregate demand denotes the behaviour of individuals and households.However,aggregate demand can also directly affect environmental deterioration via changes in aggregate production.This study tried to explore this relationship,known as the demand-based Environmental Kuznets Curve(Demand EKC)and the role of different knowledge economy indicators.Knowledge economy indicators are proposed to influence consumption patterns,altering the demand EKC that empirical studies have understudied.For this purpose,secondary data for 147 countries were collected from 2008 to 2018,also classified as development-wise.This study found that aggregate demand significantly affects carbon emissions.The long-run results are estimated using the Fully Modified Ordinary Least Square method.Controlling factors like renewable energy consumption,population density,and financial development significantly affect carbon emissions in sample countries.This study has incorporated four pillars of a knowledge-based economy and the results showed that these indicators helped reduce consumption-related CO_(2) emissions.

The Knowledge Management Research of Agricultural Scientific Research Institution

Based on the perception of knowledge management from experts specializing in different fields,and experts at home and abroad,the knowledge management of agricultural scientific research institution can build new platform,offer new approach for realization of explicit or tacit knowledge,and promote resilience and innovative ability of scientific research institution.The thesis has introduced functions of knowledge management research of agricultural science.First,it can transform the tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge.Second,it can make all the scientific personnel share knowledge.Third,it is beneficial to the development of prototype system of knowledge management.Fourth,it mainly researches the realization of knowledge management system.Fifth,it can manage the external knowledge via competitive intelligence.Sixth,it can foster talents of knowledge management for agricultural scientific research institution.Seventh,it offers the decision-making service for leaders to manage scientific program.The thesis also discusses the content of knowledge management of agricultural scientific research institution as follows:production and innovation of knowledge;attainment and organizing of knowledge;dissemination and share of knowledge;management of human resources and the construction and management of infrastructure.We have put forward corresponding countermeasures to further reinforce the knowledge management research of agricultural scientific research institution.

Research on Network Training System Facing Enterprise Knowledge Management

知识溢出视角下企业数字化转型与全球价值链融入

企业数字化转型能够诱发知识溢出,是促进企业融入全球价值链的有效路径。本文利用2007~2016年中国制造业上市企业数据,探讨知识溢出视角下企业数字化转型对全球价值链融入的影响。结果表明:相较于非数字化转型的企业,数字化转型企业的知识溢出显著促进了企业融入全球价值链,在克服内生性问题和稳健性检验后,结论依然成立;异质性分析表明,数字化转型企业的知识溢出对国有企业、低IT投资企业和技术资本密集型企业融入全球价值链有显著正向影响;进一步讨论发现,知识产权保护的加强、融资约束的缓解强化了数字化转型企业知识溢出对企业融入全球价值链的积极作用。

Digital Economy——Economy of the New Millennium

The new digital technologies allow access, storage, and transmission of information increasingly easier and more accessible, so we deal with digital information that can be converted into new economic and social values, creating huge opportunities for developing new products and services. In these conditions we can say that the information is the key resource for the new type of economy--digital economy. The new economy is characterized by the increasing incorporation of knowledge in new products and services, growing the importance of learning and innovation, globalization and sustainable development. In this paper we propose to address this new type of economy, highlighting specific features and main components. Because the digital economy is characterized by a series of procedures that fundamentally changes the relationship between business partners and taxpayers, by introducing a coherent way of cultivating civic awareness, we considered it appropriate to give an overview of them. In view of the global character of this type of economy, we have presented some aspects of the digital economy in the European Union, considering that it could be a possible solution to the economic crisis, issue of new economy based on digital economy, being analyzed in its various aspects by many political factors and various institutions and international organizations. We ended by presenting the most significant trends in the digital economy and a set of conclusions, in which is pointed the role and the importance of this new type of economy.
