The goal of research on the topics such as sentiment analysis and cognition is to analyze the opinions,emotions,evaluations and attitudes that people hold about the entities and their attributes from the text.The word level affective cognition becomes an important topic in sentiment analysis.Extracting the(attribute,opinion word)binary relationship by word segmentation and dependency parsing,and labeling those by existing emotional dictionary combined with webpage information and manual annotation,this paper constitutes a binary relationship knowledge base.By using knowledge embedding method,embedding each element in(attribute,opinion,opinion word)as a word vector into the Knowledge Graph by TransG,and defining an algorithm to distinguish the opinion between the attribute word vector and the opinion word vector.Compared with traditional method,this engine has the advantages of high processing speed and low occupancy,which makes up the time-costing and high calculating complexity in the former methods. 展开更多

Intellectualization has been an inevitable trend in the information network,allowing the network to achieve the capabilities of self-learning,self-optimization,and self-evolution in the dynamic environment.Due to the strong adaptability to the environment,the cognitive theory methods from psychology gradually become an excellent approach to construct the intelligent information network(IIN),making the traditional definition of the intelligent information network no longer appropriate.Moreover,the thinking capability of existing IINs is always limited.This paper redefines the intelligent information network and illustrates the required properties of the architecture,core theory,and critical technologies by analyzing the existing intelligent information network.Besides,we innovatively propose a novel network cognition model with the network knowledge to implement the intelligent information network.The proposed model can perceive the overall environment data of the network and extract the knowledge from the data.As the model’s core,the knowledge guides the model to generate the optimal decisions adapting to the environmental changes.At last,we present the critical technologies needed to accomplish the proposed network cognition model. 展开更多

Mathematical Model of Embodied Symbols: Cognition and Perceptual Symbol System

A mathematical model of perceptual symbol system is developed. This development requires new mathematical methods of dynamic logic (DL), which have overcome limitations of classical artificial intelligence and connectionist approaches. The paper discusses these past limitations, relates them to combinatorial complexity (exponential explosion) of algorithms in the past, and relates it further to the static nature of classical logic. DL is a process-logic;its salient property is evolution of vague representations into crisp. We first consider one aspect of PSS: situation learning from object perceptions. Next DL is related to PSS mechanisms of concepts, simulators, grounding, embodiment, productiveity, binding, recursion, and to the mechanisms relating embodied-grounded and amodal symbols. We discuss DL capability for modeling cognition on multiple levels of abstraction. PSS is extended toward interaction between cognition and language. Experimental predictions of the theory are discussed. They might influence experimental psychology and impact future theoretical developments in cognitive science, including knowledge representation, and mechanisms of interaction between perception, cognition, and language. All mathematical equations are also discussed conceptually, so mathematical understanding is not required. Experimental evidence for DL and PSS in brain imaging is discussed as well as future research directions. 展开更多

This research aimed to clarify the relationship between nursing students’ levels of structural knowledge and assessment skills. Participants were 17 third-year university students majoring in nursing who participated individually in the experiments. The experiments included a nursing-scene task, free-recall task, and sorting task. Experiments were conducted before and after their clinical practice. Each student’s level of structural knowledge was calculated from the free-recall and sorting task responses, and each student’s assessment skill was calculated from the nursing-scene task responses. Levels of structural knowledge were significantly higher in post-examination compared with pre-examination (p p n = 5) had significantly higher scores for their conclusions and reasons than the low-structured group (n = 5) (p p < 0.10). Well-structured knowledge of students in the high-structured group seemed to enable them to acquire and activate highly related information during assessment. Students in the high-structured group apparently made assessments not only by using information given but also by over viewing information comprehensively. 展开更多

This paper summarizes the research results dealing with washer and nut taxonomy and knowledge base design, making the use of fuzzy methodology. In particular, the theory of fuzzy membership functions, similarity matrices, and the operation of fuzzy inference play important roles.A realistic set of 25 washers and nuts are employed to conduct extensive experiments and simulations.The investigation includes a complete demonstration of engineering design. The results obtained from this feasibility study are very encouraging indeed because they represent the lower bound with respect to performance, namely correctrecognition rate, of what fuzzy methodology can do. This lower bound shows high recognition rate even with noisy input patterns, robustness in terms of noise tolerance, and simplicity in hardware implementation. The article provides an analysis of the approach to cognition in the theory of constructivism according to different constructivism concepts such as: methodical constructivism, scientific-theoretical constructivism, natural epistemology, personal construct theory, social constructivism, concepts of some radical constructivism representatives, constructive realism. The analysis demonstrates that constructivism helps to establish subject's control over the reality perceived by him when eliminating any deviations or resentments from his preferable target condition. In this case, the model of the world cognized contains only the aspects which are relevant to subject's purposes and actions. It is advanced the idea the current stage of science development is connected with the change of its fundamental bases. As a result, the model of the reality becomes a result of interaction between subject of scientific and cognitive activity with the reality, but the ideas of constructivism in its classical meaning don't correspond to this conclusion. The author proves that cognition based on the constructive realism is the most appropriate to the modern stage of epistemology development as it cancels the opposition of constructivism and realism in some extent and promotes getting a rational knowledge about the reality by subject. 展开更多

A net model of formation of mathematical knowledge as a deductive theory is suggested here. Within this model the formation of deductive theory is represented as the development of a certain informational space, the elements of which are structured in the form of the orientated semantic net. This net is properly metrized and characterized by a certain system of coverings. It allows injecting net optimization parameters, regulating qualitative aspects of knowledge system under consideration. To regulate the creative processes of the formation and realization of mathematical know- edge, stochastic model of formation deductive theory is suggested here in the form of branching Markovian process, which is realized in the corresponding informational space as a semantic net. According to this stochastic model we can get correct foundation of criterion of optimization creative processes that leads to “great main points” strategy (GMP-strategy) in the process of realization of the effective control in the research work in the sphere of mathematics and its applications. 展开更多

The study was conducted to understand the cognitive status of medical staff and patients on the status of periodontal disease and oral health care in patients with diabetes,and to provide reference for the implementation and improvement of diabetes management and health education.Using the Diabetes Periodontal Status and Oral Health Knowledge Questionnaire,108 doctors,190 nurses,and 212 inpatients were investigated.This study demonstrated that,the total scores of doctors,nurses,and patients with diabetes periodontal status and oral health knowledge were(31.18±5.14),(28.58±4.09)and(18.67±3.45)points,respectively.The results of regression analysis showed that education level,department,and related training experience(p<0.05,p<0.01)were the influencing factors of the diabetic periodontal status and oral health knowledge level of the medical staff,meanwhile the monthly income,department,and relevant training experience(p<0.05,p<0.01)were the factors influencing the diabetic periodontal status and oral health care knowledge level of the patients.In summary,the cognitive level of diabetic periodontal status and oral health care knowledge of the medical staff and patients’needs to be improved.Medical staff should pay attention to the study of diabetic periodontal status and oral health care knowledge,further perform a good job in the relevant health education of patients,which is helpful to maintain good oral hygiene. 展开更多

目的探讨多媒体视频健康知识宣教对乳腺癌化疗患者疾病认知及自我管理的作用效果。方法选取2019年1月至2022年1月于江苏省人民医院接受化疗的92例乳腺癌患者,按随机数字表法将其分为对照组和试验组,每组46例。对照组接受传统常规护理宣... 目的探讨多媒体视频健康知识宣教对乳腺癌化疗患者疾病认知及自我管理的作用效果。方法选取2019年1月至2022年1月于江苏省人民医院接受化疗的92例乳腺癌患者,按随机数字表法将其分为对照组和试验组,每组46例。对照组接受传统常规护理宣教,试验组在对照组基础上接受多媒体视频健康知识宣教,两组均宣教6周。比较两组干预前后化疗知识掌握情况、自我管理效能及化疗不良反应。结果干预前,两组化疗调查问卷各维度评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,两组化疗调查问卷各维度评分均高于干预前,且试验组高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预前,两组健康促进策略问卷(SUPPH)各维度评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,两组SUPPH各维度评分均高于干预前,且试验组高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组化疗不良反应总发生率低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论多媒体视频健康知识宣教可提升乳腺癌化疗患者对化疗知识认知及自我效能水平,降低不良反应发生率。 展开更多
