Based on patent cooperation data,this study used a range of city network analysis approaches in order to explore the structure of the Chinese city network which is driven by technological knowledge flows.The results r...Based on patent cooperation data,this study used a range of city network analysis approaches in order to explore the structure of the Chinese city network which is driven by technological knowledge flows.The results revealed the spatial structure,composition structure,hierarchical structure,group structure,and control structure of Chinese city network,as well as its dynamic factors.The major findings are:1) the spatial pattern presents a diamond structure,in which Wuhan is the central city;2) although the invention patent knowledge network is the main part of the broader inter-city innovative cooperation network,it is weaker than the utility model patent;3) as the senior level cities,Beijing,Shanghai and the cities in the Zhujiang(Pearl) River Delta Region show a strong capability of both spreading and controlling technological knowledge;4) whilst a national technology alliance has preliminarily formed,regional alliances have not been adequately established;5) even though the cooperation level amongst weak connection cities is not high,such cities still play an important role in the network as a result of their location within ′structural holes′ in the network;and 6) the major driving forces facilitating inter-city technological cooperation are geographical proximity,hierarchical proximity and technological proximity.展开更多

Introduction:The therapeutic nurse patient relationship is viewed as central or foundational to the practice of nursing.Such relationship not only improve patients’physical and emotional state but also facilitate the...Introduction:The therapeutic nurse patient relationship is viewed as central or foundational to the practice of nursing.Such relationship not only improve patients’physical and emotional state but also facilitate their adjustments to their illness,ease pain and can ultimately lead to a good health experience.Methodology:The pre experimental one group pre test post test study was undertaken to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding therapeutic nurse-patient communication among the staff nurses working in SGT Hospital,Haryana.Total 30 study participants were selected by convenient sampling technique and Data were collected by using a structured knowledge questionnaire.Result:The findings of the study revealed that half of the participants 50%had average and poor knowledge regarding therapeutic nurse patient communication in the pre test.Similarly,the post test scores depicted that majority(63%)had average knowledge and 37%had good knowledge regarding therapeutic nurse patient communication.Most of the demographic variable was not significantly associated with level of pre knowledge of staff nurses regarding therapeutic nurse patient communication.Only staff nurses years of experience P=0.021 were found to statistically significant at 0.05 level of significance.There was significant difference between the knowledge of staff nurses before and after the implementation of structured teaching programme(t=11.844,P=0.0001).Conclusion:It was concluded that structured teaching programme was effective strategy which can help to increase their knowledge regarding therapeutic nurse patient communication.展开更多

This paper introduces a natural semantics of K...The standard Kripke semantics of epistemic logics has been applied successfully to reasoning communication protocols under the assumption that the network is not hostile. This paper introduces a natural semantics of Kripke semantics called knowledge structure and, by this kind of Kripke semantics, analyzes communication protocols over hostile networks, especially on authentication protocols. Compared with BAN-like logics, the method is automatically implementable because it operates on the actual definitions of the protocols, not on some difficult-to-establish justifications of them. What is more, the corresponding tool called SPV (Security Protocol Verifier) has been developed. Nanotechnology is a rapidly expanding discipline,and solid lipid nanoparticles(SLN)are at the forefront of this development.They offer various possible clinical and pharmaceutical research applications and numerous ot...Nanotechnology is a rapidly expanding discipline,and solid lipid nanoparticles(SLN)are at the forefront of this development.They offer various possible clinical and pharmaceutical research applications and numerous other fields.A quantitative review technique called bibliometric analysis uses statistics,data mining,and mathematics to find emerging trends in a particular academic topic.It is currently more widely utilized and is employed in many academic subjects.As a result,the current study looked through Scopus-indexed research documents on SLNs from 2012 to 2022 to assess the growth and expansion of this body of knowledge and predict its course in the future.The VOSviewer package and Scopus Analytics were used to conduct the bibliometric analysis.VOSviewer offers two distinct viewing modes:network and overlay visualization.A total of 3768 journal articles(n=3709)and conference papers(n=59)were extracted.The number of research documents published by 12,367 authors was steadily increasing annually.Gene therapy,development and detection methods,bioavailability,and controlled release have been important research subjects.Souto,E.B.,of the University of Porto in Portugal,is considered the most prolific and frequently cited scholar.Punjab University(India)is the top-publishing institution.India is the leading country in the number of publications and research collaborations.The International Journal of Pharmaceutics is the top source.The current results keep pace with global scientific efforts in nanotechnology and successfully integrate them into the pharmaceutical industry.展开更多

The paper particularly focuses on automatic verification of authentication protocols. Our approach is based on the actual definitions of a protocol, not on some difficultto-establish justifications. The proposed methodology is different from many previous approaches to automatic verification of security protocols in that it is justification-oriented instead of falsification-oriented, i.e., finding bugs in a protocol. The main idea is based on observations: separating a principal executing a run of protocol from the role in the protocol, and inferring a principal's knowledge from the local observations of the principal. And we show analytically and empirically that this model can be easily reduced to Satisfiability (SAT) problem and efficiently implemented by a modern SAT solver.展开更多
The unprecedented liquefaction-related land damage during earthquakes has highlighted the need to develop a model that better interprets the liquefaction land damage vulnerability(LLDV)when determining whether liquefa...The unprecedented liquefaction-related land damage during earthquakes has highlighted the need to develop a model that better interprets the liquefaction land damage vulnerability(LLDV)when determining whether liquefaction is likely to cause damage at the ground's surface.This paper presents the development of a novel comprehensive framework based on select case history records of cone penetration tests using a Bayesian belief network(BBN)methodology to assess seismic soil liquefaction and liquefaction land damage potentials in one model.The BBN-based LLDV model is developed by integrating multi-related factors of seismic soil liquefaction and its induced hazards using a machine learming(ML)algorithm-K2 and domain knowledge(DK)data fusion methodology.Compared with the C4.5 decision tree-J48 model,naive Bayesian(NB)classifier,and BBN-K2 ML prediction methods in terms of overall accuracy and the Cohen's kappa coefficient,the proposed BBN K2 and DK model has a better performance and provides a substitutive novel LLDV framework for characterizing the vulnerability of land to liquefaction-induced damage.The proposed model not only predicts quantitatively the seismic soil liquefaction potential and its ground damage potential probability but can also identify the main reasons and fault-finding state combinations,and the results are likely to assist in decisions on seismic risk mitigation measures for sustainable development.The proposed model is simple to perform in practice and provides a step toward a more sophisticated liquefaction risk assessment modeling.This study also interprets the BBN model sensitivity analysis and most probable explanation of seismic soil liquefed sites based on an engineering point of view.展开更多
