One-step quantum dialogue

Quantum dialogue(QD)enables two communication parties to directly exchange secret messages simultaneously.In conventional QD protocols,photons need to transmit in the quantum channel for two rounds.In this paper,we propose a one-step QD protocol based on the hyperentanglement.With the help of the non-local hyperentanglement-assisted Bell state measurement(BSM),the photons only need to transmit in the quantum channel once.We prove that our one-step QD protocol is secure in theory and numerically simulate its secret message capacity under practical experimental condition.Compared with previous QD protocols,the one-step QD protocol can effectively simplify the experiment operations and reduce the message loss caused by the photon transmission loss.Meanwhile,the non-local hyperentanglement-assisted BSM has a success probability of 100%and is feasible with linear optical elements.Moreover,combined with the hyperentanglement heralded amplification and purification,our protocol is possible to realize long-distance one-step QD.

An Appraisal of the Major National Dialogue as a Panacea to the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon

This paper explores the Major National Dialogue organised by Paul Biya from the 30th of September to the 4th of October,2019 as a panacea to the Anglophone.The paper also seeks to find out if this dialogue has been the panacea Cameroonians as a whole and the people of Southern Cameroons in particular have been waiting for to end this conflict.This research uses a qualitative research design.This is because the researcher culled information from Jeune Afrique Economie(2019a),Cameroon Tribune,and from Phoenix.Descriptive analysis was used to analyse the collected data.Descriptive analysis is used to get the views of the public whether the Major National Dialogue was really a panacea to the Anglophone crisis.The analysis revealed that there were two opposing opinions on the holding of this dialogue.The government thinks the dialogue was a panacea to put an end to this crisis because there is ongoing construction work in the war zones,and economic activities have witnessed an increase in the regions as the various production units of the Cameroon Development Corporation(CDC)and Pamol plantations have regained agricultural activities.The Ndawara tea estate now functions without problems.Trans-border trade is on the rise and transportation is fluid,except in the rural areas where the state of the road network is poor to name but these.On the other hand,politicians,political parties like the Social Democratic Front,activists,religious leaders,the affected populations,and Cameroonians at large think that the Major National Dialogue was a monologue and therefore was bound to fail because first,key actors arrested and detained in connection to this crisis were not part of this dialogue.For this reason,they are calling for a genuine and an inclusive dialogue.In addition,they argue that we cannot be talking of peace when fighting is still raging on and people are being killed,houses and schools are being burnt,and people are being kidnapped every day for ransom to mention but these.

Knowledge-Based Efficient N-1 Analysis Calculation Method for Urban Distribution Networks with CIM File Data

The N-1 criterion is a critical factor for ensuring the reliable and resilient operation of electric power distribution networks.However,the increasing complexity of distribution networks and the associated growth in data size have created a significant challenge for distribution network planners.To address this issue,we propose a fast N-1 verification procedure for urban distribution networks that combines CIM file data analysis with MILP-based mathematical modeling.Our proposed method leverages the principles of CIM file analysis for distribution network N-1 analysis.We develop a mathematical model of distribution networks based on CIM data and transfer it into MILP.We also take into account the characteristics of medium voltage distribution networks after a line failure and select the feeder section at the exit of each substation with a high load rate to improve the efficiency of N-1 analysis.We validate our approach through a series of case studies and demonstrate its scalability and superiority over traditional N-1 analysis and heuristic optimization algorithms.By enabling online N-1 analysis,our approach significantly improves the work efficiency of distribution network planners.In summary,our proposed method provides a valuable tool for distribution network planners to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of their N-1 analyses.By leveraging the advantages of CIM file data analysis and MILP-based mathematical modeling,our approach contributes to the development of more resilient and reliable electric power distribution networks.

Muslim Confucian Philosophy:Islamic-Confucian Dialogue and the Integration of Civilizations

At the end of the Ming Dynasty and at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,a new theory of learning was created-Muslim Confucian Study(Chinese Islamic Philosophy)-on the basis of Islamic philosophy and under the influence of Confucianism.Wang Daiyu(1570-1660)and Liu Zhi(1660-1739)were two great Huiru(Muslim Confucian)scholars at that time.They published Zhengjiao zhenquan(The real commentary on the tire teaching),Tianfang xingli(Nature and principle in Islam)major books.Their approach is distinguished from that of other Muslim scholars in that they addressed the basic articles of Islamic thought with Confucian terminology and categories.The study deals with the Islamic worldview,and with the practices that make it possible for people to bring themselves into conformity with that worldview.However,the teaching of the Muslim Confucian was continuous with those of Mainstream Islam.In my research,I attempted to answer two questions:(a)How did Muslim Confucian Study Inherit the Mainstream Islamic Thought?(b)What is the value and contribution of the World Islamic philology and civilization?

On the Translation of Hybridity in the Chinese Version of Saving Fish from Drowning in the Light of Bakhtin's Theory of Dialogue

In translation, hybridity often poses a big challenge to the translator, especially when the hybrid text is a novel. The au-thor of this paper hopes to contribute to the study of the translation of hybridity in English novels by drawing on Bakhtin's theory ofdialogue. By analyzing the translation of linguistic hybridity in Saving Fish from Drowning, the author of this paper finds that thetranslation by Caiju is not good enough and tries to provide a new direction by virtue of which translators can choose right transla-tion strategies.

An Evaluation of "Dialogue Completion" in English Testing

To evaluate the validity of "dialogue completion" item in the language testing, this article explores three contradictions by analyzing aspects of its characters, content, validity and reliability. The finding is that "dialogue completion" patten has unpredicted answer and should be avoided in the testing as much as possible.

Secure quantum dialogue based on single-photon

In this paper a quantum dialogue scheme is proposed by using N batches of single photons. The same secret message is encoded on each batch of single photons by the sender with two different unitary operations, and then the N batches of single photons are sent to the receiver. After eavesdropping check, the message is encoded on the one remaining batch by the receiver. It is shown that the intercept-and-resend attack and coupling auxiliary modes attack can be resisted more efficiently, because the photons are sent only once in our quantum dialogue scheme.

Knowledge-based bridge detection from SAR images

Automatic bridge detection is an important application of SAR images. Differed from the classical CFAR method, a new knowledge-based bridge detection approach is proposed. The method not only uses the backscattering intensity difference between targets and background but also applies the contextual information and spatial relationship between objects. According to bridges＇ special characteristics and scattering properties in SAR images, the new knowledge-based method includes three processes： river segmentation, potential bridge areas detection and bridge discrimination. The application to AIRSAR data shows that the new method is not sensitive to rivers＇ shape. Moreover, this method can detect bridges successfully when river segmentation is not very exact and is more robust than the radius projection method.

Fault tolerant controlled quantum dialogue against collective noise

Quantum system is inevitably affected by the external environment in the real world.Two controlled quantum dialogue protocols are put forward based on logicalχ-type states under collective noise environment.One is against collectivedephasing noise,while the other is against collective-rotation noise.Compared with existing protocols,there exist several outstanding advantages in our proposed protocols:Firstly,theχ-type state is utilized as quantum channels,it possesses better entanglement properties than GHZ state,W state as well as cluster state,which make it difficult to be destroyed by local operations.Secondly,two kinds of logicalχ-type states are constructed by us in theory,which can be perfectly immune to the effects of collective noise.Thirdly,the controller can be offline after quantum distribution and permission announcement,without waiting for all the participants to complete the information coding.Fourthly,the security analysis illuminates that our protocols can not only be free from the information leakage,but also resist against the interceptand-resend attack,the entanglement-and-measure attack,the modification attack,the conspiring attack,and especially the dishonest controller’s attacks.

Structural Topology Design of Container Ship Based on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Level Set Method

Knowledge-Based Engineering （KBE） is introduced into the ship structural design in this paper. From the implementation of KBE, the design solutions for both Rules Design Method （RDM） and Interpolation Design Method （IDM） are generated. The corresponding Finite Element （FE） models are generated. Topological design of the longitudinal structures is studied where the Gaussian Process （GP） is employed to build the surrogate model for FE analysis. Multi-objective optimization methods inspired by Pareto Front are used to reduce the design tank weight and outer surface area simultaneously. Additionally, an enhanced Level Set Method （LSM） which employs implicit algorithm is applied to the topological design of typical bracket plate which is used extensively in ship structures. Two different sets of boundary conditions are considered. The proposed methods show satisfactory efficiency and accuracy.

New Knowledge-based Genetic Algorithm for Excavator Boom Structural Optimization

Due to the insufficiency of utilizing knowledge to guide the complex optimal searching, existing genetic algorithms fail to effectively solve excavator boom structural optimization problem. To improve the optimization efficiency and quality, a new knowledge-based real-coded genetic algorithm is proposed. A dual evolution mechanism combining knowledge evolution with genetic algorithm is established to extract, handle and utilize the shallow and deep implicit constraint knowledge to guide the optimal searching of genetic algorithm circularly. Based on this dual evolution mechanism, knowledge evolution and population evolution can be connected by knowledge influence operators to improve the conflgurability of knowledge and genetic operators. Then, the new knowledge-based selection operator, crossover operator and mutation operator are proposed to integrate the optimal process knowledge and domain culture to guide the excavator boom structural optimization. Eight kinds of testing algorithms, which include different genetic operators, arc taken as examples to solve the structural optimization of a medium-sized excavator boom. By comparing the results of optimization, it is shown that the algorithm including all the new knowledge-based genetic operators can more remarkably improve the evolutionary rate and searching ability than other testing algorithms, which demonstrates the effectiveness of knowledge for guiding optimal searching. The proposed knowledge-based genetic algorithm by combining multi-level knowledge evolution with numerical optimization provides a new effective method for solving the complex engineering optimization problem.

FAULT DIAGNOSIS OF ROTATING MACHINERY USING KNOWLEDGE-BASED FUZZY NEURAL NETWORK

A novel knowledge-based fuzzy neural network （KBFNN） for fault diagnosis is presented. Crude rules were extracted and the corresponding dependent factors and antecedent coverage factors were calculated firstly from the diagnostic sample based on rough sets theory. Then the number of rules was used to construct partially the structure of a fuzzy neural network and those factors were implemented as initial weights, with fuzzy output parameters being optimized by genetic algorithm. Such fuzzy neural network was called KBFNN. This KBFNN was utilized to identify typical faults of rotating machinery. Diagnostic results show that it has those merits of shorter training time and higher right diagnostic level compared to general fuzzy neural networks.

A theoretical protocol of quantum dialogue is proposed,which uses a class of three-photon W states asquantum channel.After two-step security check,four-bit secret message can be transmitted to each other by transmittingof single photon with the aid of two-bit classical information.

A Knowledge-based System for the Analysis of the Ability of Paying back Loans

This paper describes the development of a knowledgebased system (KBS) for determining whether or not, and under what conditions, a bank Ioan officer should grant a business loan to a company. The prototype system developed focuses on what is bank loans risks management, how to prevent risk by the analysis of the ability of paying back loans. The paper makes the structural analysis involved in the system's decision situation, the structured situation diagram or model, dependency diagram and the document needed by the KBS prototype system thus are developed. Through testing the samples from loan business, the quality for the analysis of the ability of paying back loans can be effectively evaluated by the KBS prototype system.

Knowledge-based potentials in bioinformatics: From a physicist's viewpoint

Biological raw data are growing exponentially, providing a large amount of information on what life is. It is believed that potential functions and the rules governing protein behaviors can be revealed from analysis on known native structures of proteins. Many knowledge-based potentials for proteins have been proposed. Contrary to most existing review articles which mainly describe technical details and applications of various potential models, the main foci for the discussion here are ideas and concepts involving the construction of potentials, including the relation between free energy and energy, the additivity of potentials of mean force and some key issues in potential construction. Sequence analysis is briefly viewed from an energetic viewpoint.

Number Entities Recognition in Multiple Rounds of Dialogue Systems

As a representative technique in natural language processing(NLP),named entity recognition is used in many tasks,such as dialogue systems,machine translation and information extraction.In dialogue systems,there is a common case for named entity recognition,where a lot of entities are composed of numbers,and are segmented to be located in different places.For example,in multiple rounds of dialogue systems,a phone number is likely to be divided into several parts,because the phone number is usually long and is emphasized.In this paper,the entity consisting of numbers is named as number entity.The discontinuous positions of number entities result from many reasons.We find two reasons from real-world dialogue systems.The first reason is the repetitive confirmation of different components of a number entity,and the second reason is the interception of mood words.The extraction of number entities is quite useful in many tasks,such as user information completion and service requests correction.However,the existing entity extraction methods cannot extract entities consisting of discontinuous entity blocks.To address these problems,in this paper,we propose a comprehensive method for number entity recognition,which is capable of extracting number entities in multiple rounds of dialogues systems.We conduct extensive experiments on a real-world dataset,and the experimental results demonstrate the high performance of our method.
