A Study of the Effects of Employee Engagement on Job Satisfaction:Mediating Effect of Labor Relations Climate

With the rapid advancement of new technologies and the transformation of the economic model on a global scale,enterprises are facing unprecedented changes in the external environment and more diversified demands from employees.Therefore,it is essential for enterprises to bolster employee engagement by enhancing employees’job satisfaction,building a stable and harmonious internal climate,and adapting to the dynamic,complex external environment.This study analyzes the positive effects of employee engagement on job satisfaction,explores the mediating effect of labor relations climate in the relationship between the two,and proposes corresponding practical countermeasures and suggestions.

Effects of Labor Price Hike and Population Ageing on Rural Land Lease in China

In answering the questions as whether China's rising labor price and ageing workforce have affected rural land leasing and whether these factors have any joint effect,we have employed RCRE data of the Ministry of Agriculture to carry out an empirical analysis and the result indicates that labor price hike has significant positive effects on both the land lease-in and lease-out of rural households,i.e.labor price hike will help increase the land leasing of rural households.At the level of ageing workforce,our empirical results indicate that ageing workforce does not create any significant impact on rural land leasing market no matter for land lease-in or lease-out in overall samples,plain regions and mountainous regions.In our empirical analysis on whether ageing workforce will intensify or weaken the effects of labor price hike on rural land leasing market,the regression result also indicates that there is no significant effect from a statistical perspective.

Research on the Evaluation Index System and Prosperity Index System of Labor Relations in Enterprise

The quantitative model for evaluating labor relations in enterprise consists of two index systems. One system,which consists of 6 second level indices and 26 third level indices, deals with quantitative evaluation of the present situation of labor relations in enterprise. And the other system, which consists of 5 indices, deals with quantitative evaluation of the trend of future labor relations development.

Empirical Study on the Impact of Rural Labor Force Flow on the Price of Agricultural Products——A Method Based on VEC Model

Based on the research introduction of domestic and foreign scholars,dynamic equilibrium between the rural labor force flow and the price of agricultural product is analyzed by VEC model,according to the data of the rural labor force flow and the price of agricultural products in the years 1990-2007.Chows breakpoint test is used to measure the stage characteristics of the impact of rural labor force flow on the price of agricultural product.Result shows that there is a long-term and stationary relationship between the flow quantity of rural labor force and the price of agricultural product.Rural labor force flow,as an exogenous force,affects the agricultural production,and further influences the price fluctuation of agricultural products.Impact of rural labor force flow on the price of agricultural product is from weak to strong,then grows gradually weaker,and reaches its peak value at the year 1998.With the development of rural society and economy and the market process,rural labor force flow endogenously affects the price of agricultural product,which has periodic characteristics.In order to achieve a dual stabilization of the rural labor force flow and the price of agricultural products,the following countermeasures are put forward:vigorously developing vocational education,increasing the support for agricultural production,and making active employment measures.

The Changing Mode of Legal Regulation of Labor Relations in China

当前,我国对劳动关系的法律调整总体上实行整齐划一的单一调整模式,劳动法对所有劳动者实行＂一体适用、同等对待＂。这种模式产生了诸多问题。现实中,由于用工形式不断发展以及劳动者＂从属性＂的弹性,雇员类型表现出多样性,除了典型雇员,还存在从属性较弱的＂类似雇员的人＂以及其他特殊雇员。为此,应更新劳动法的立法理念,在坚持劳动者是弱势群体的前提下,根据具体场景,考察不同类型雇员的差异,进行相应的规则设计。在立法技术上,应打破传统的针对所有劳动者的综合立法模式,向针对特定类型主体和特定事项的专门立法模式转变。应摒弃传统的劳动法规则＂全部适用＂或＂全不适用＂的陈旧模式,对雇员进行类型化处理,为类似雇员的人、特殊雇员以及特殊雇主的雇员提供特殊规则,实现劳动关系法律调整模式从一体调整向分类调整和区别对待转变。

An Intertemporal General Equilibrium Model of Asset Prices with Labor Input

This paper develops the CIR model. In this model, labor is introduced in the production function and leisure in the direct utility function. We examine how the trade-off between labor and leisure would affect asset prices and derive a familiar principal partial differential equation which asset prices must satisfy. The solution of this equation gives the equilibrium price of any asset in terms of the underlying real variables in economy.

Research on Chinese Labor Relations in Economic Transformation

The economic transformation in China has caused significant changes to labor relations. It has made the labor relations more complex and labor conflicts apparent and frequent. However the coordination mechanism has not been developed correspondingly. Based on the empirical research upon current domestic and overseas labor relations, it is concluded that the supply of labor force exceeding the demand of it is the fundamental reasons for explaining labor conflicts in the economic transformation in China. It also suggested that the coordination mechanism of labor conflicts has mechanical dysfunction and the structure of harmonic labor relations would take a long time.

HIV/AIDS Related Stigma among Male Labor Migrants in Nepal

Labor migrants are those of the at-risk groups for HIV. This cross-sectional study has tried to examine HIV/AIDS-related stigma among Nepalese returnee male labor migrants. Migrant workers who have worked at least six months abroad were asked different questions related to sexual behavior, knowledge on HIV/AIDS & condom and HIV/AIDS-related stigma. Stigma was measured on a three-point rating scale as high, average and low stigma. About 58% of migrants had the view “I would rather not know if I have HIV” followed by “I don’t want to be friends with people living with HIV” (53.6% migrants) and “people with HIV are cursed” (35.5% migrants). High stigma was present among 15.5% of the total respondents with high proportion among those with higher age, lower education, rural residence, and no knowledge on Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) service. About a quarter of respondents were of the view that migrants infected with HIV while abroad should not be allowed to return Nepal. Some level of stigma on HIV/AIDS exists among male labor migrants in Nepal. Interventions aiming at reducing stigma should consider the factors like migrants’ age, education, place of residence and knowledge on VCT services.

The New Explanation of Market Equilibrium Based on Theory of Labor Value

There is market equilibrium when the demand willingness is consistent with the supply willingness. From the individual preferences and budget constraints,Western Economics deduced demand curve,causing the traditional demand willingness to be built on the basis of subjective utility. From the relative labor time of economic entity,this paper discusses the relationship between labor time and price readiness,demand curve or supply curve,and establishes the market equilibrium model based on labor value. In a perfectly competitive environment,the equilibrium exchange price of the model is the ratio of labor value between two commodities,and combines demand and supply sides' recognition of commodity quantity of labor,reflecting the socially necessary labor time contained in commodities.

Dazed and Confused:The Impact of Multinational Firms on Local Labor Markets

In this high-speed globalization era,the opportunities for multinational companies(MNCs)have become vast.In such situation,these companies can obtain maximum profit only if they know how to use workforce properly.This paper aims at analyzing how these MNCs can use international workforce without violating ethics,universal labor rights,and human resource rules.For this purpose,two most favored countries i.e.,China and Indonesia have been taken and compared throughout the paper.The first part of this paper deals with the introduction of the profile of above mentioned two countries and opportunities to the MNCs.The second part deals with the roles of institutions in dealing with labor workforce.The third part indicates divergent paths and the convergence of the globalization with its impact over host countries.The final part concludes the entire discussion in a few paragraphs.The entire paper has been developed keeping the scholarly work,journal articles and critical analysis factor under consideration.

国内外新就业形态劳动者权益保障研究脉络与热点追踪--基于CiteSpace的文献计量分析

党的二十大报告强调,“要加强灵活就业和新就业形态劳动者权益保障”。围绕这一主题,借助CiteSpace等文献分析工具,聚焦发文量、文献被引频次、期刊影响因子、核心作者群、关键词聚类等指标,对近年来国内外关于新就业形态劳动者权益保障的主题文献进行计量分析,系统梳理其研究脉络,得出了如下结论和研究展望:近十年来,国内外对新就业形态劳动者权益保障的研究逐步深入,但文献总量较少,核心作者群相对分散,业内学术影响力不高,未来研究方向将集中在新就业形态劳动者新型雇佣关系认定和劳动权益保障两个方面,并致力于在工会职能创新、立法创新、社会保险政策实践创新3个方面作出实质性突破。

新业态从业者劳动权益保障的困境与出路

新业态从业者不同于传统劳动者,其在所处行业、组织方式、用工方式、计酬方式等方面表现出“新”的独特性的同时,该类人员劳动权益无法得到有效保障的现状也对传统劳动关系理论提出了新的挑战。通过对新业态从业者劳动权益保护现状进行研究,从现行保险制度、传统劳动关系的认定标准、诉讼与仲裁的衔接、劳动者维权力量等方面分析保障不足的内在原因,进而从加强保险制度的建设、更新劳动关系认定标准、增强维权力量、协同治理等方面提出完善劳动者权益保障的建议,以规范新型用工关系,促进劳动力市场有序发展,推动数字经济时代和谐劳动关系的构建。

不完全劳动关系法律属性及制度构建探究

梳理学界及相关政策文件对不完全劳动关系的定义与解释,将劳动从属性与新就业形态劳动者特征以及外包用工模式相结合,总结出不完全劳动关系的本质是新就业形态下特有的具备弱人格从属性、经济从属性、组织从属性的新型用工关系。当前,该领域研究存在两大问题:一是不完全劳动关系的法律属性及地位不清晰;二是不完全劳动关系的制度构建方案不明确。参考“类雇员”制度及多要素权衡规则,在劳动三分体系基础之上提出三项建议:一是将不完全劳动关系纳入未来《劳动法典》中专门规制;二是引入考察要素制定不完全劳动关系认定标准;三是将不完全劳动关系劳动者权利划分为基础权利和特有权利。

“五育并举”视域下涉农高职院校劳动教育及其实践策略研究

涉农高职院校肩负着培养乡村振兴人才的重要任务,实施“五育并举”至关重要,劳动教育作为其中一育,能够积极有效开展是涉农高职院校实施立德树人根本任务的需要,也是推进高职院校“三教改革”的重要基础。该文分析涉农高职院校劳动教育开展中存在问题,分析其产生的原因,从而提出劳动教育开展的实践策略。

涉农高校劳动育人视角下耕读教育模式创新研究

以“亦耕亦读”为核心理念的耕读教育,不仅作为涉农高校加强劳动教育的一种重要途径,更重要的是将中华优秀传统文化耕读与传家传承下去,具有全面的育人功能,如修德、长智、强体和塑美等。结合涉农高校开展耕读教育的现状归纳分析问题,从思想认识、顶层设计、课程建设、师资和机制建设方面提出意见建议。提出构建“543”耕读教育模式,即抓住劳动养成的“五个环节”,实施“四维一体”动态调整方略,利用“三全育人”服务保障,提升耕读教育实效,厚植涉农学子“三农”情怀。

家族企业更重视员工利益吗?——基于劳动力成本粘性的考察视角

家族企业追求“基业长青”,其在对待员工这一重要利益相关者时,是否会表现出显著的行为偏好和特征?本文切入劳动力成本粘性的研究视角,以2003年—2019年民营上市公司为对象,考察了家族企业劳动力成本的决策行为表现及其机理.研究结果表明,与非家族企业相比,家族企业进行劳动力成本调整时会表现出更强的粘性特征,且随着家族持股水平提升、进入代际传承阶段以及董事会中家族成员占比提高,劳动力成本粘性现象会更加突出.进一步研究发现:维护员工关系和保持良好声誉是造成这一现象的主要原因;家族企业中的劳动力成本粘性具体表现为用工粘性,而非薪酬粘性;行业竞争程度和非劳动密集性都会加剧家族企业的劳动力成本粘性;家族企业承担适当的劳动力成本粘性还有助于促进生产效率,实现劳资“互惠”.本文既丰富了家族企业行为特征和成本粘性影响因素的相关研究,也为处理劳资关系和实现共同富裕提供了一定的现实启示.

劳动关系从属性理论的历史演进与现实反思--兼论“不完全劳动关系”

从属性是解读劳动关系的一把钥匙,在各类劳动关系认定理论中获得了最广泛的认可。从历史的角度考证,源于启蒙时代个人主义思潮的从属性催生了劳动法,使之从行会规则中独立出来,进入国家干预的领域,同时赋予了劳动法“人法”的属性,从而脱离民法交换给付的维度,形成了一个以关注主体特征和组织特征为视角的全新的法律领域;从现实的角度观察,我国劳动法学界在全面接受了劳动关系从属性理论之后,正在有意识地构建中国自主的劳动法知识体系。在法律规范的层面上,我国目前虽然没有明确从属性的类型、权重和要素等相关内容,但是在法律实践的层面上,已经确定了“从属性+要素”的劳动关系认定思路,并开始反哺劳动法教义学体系的构建。“不完全劳动关系”系我国为应对平台用工进行的一项政策性司法创设,劳动关系从属性提供了充分且必要的理论支撑。从逻辑上推理,不完全劳动关系与劳动关系、民事劳务关系遵循一致的从属性考量标准,因此能够构成一类独立的法律关系。

价值预期与价值赋予:高校教师劳动关系的匹配博弈模型

在市场化转型时期,高校教师劳动关系的深层逻辑是不同价值间的博弈。价值预期体现为劳动主体在意识层面对价值回报的判断与预估;价值赋予表现为制度对劳动过程的支持程度。基于劳动价值论与制度价值论,对人、劳动价值与制度之间的关系进行深入剖析,以价值赋予与价值预期为横纵坐标,构建基于价值博弈的高校教师劳动关系博弈模型。从模型中发现,高校教师劳动关系有4种基本类型关系:高价值预期与高价值赋予;高价值预期与低价值赋予;低价值预期与高价值赋予;低价值预期与低价值赋予。通过质性访谈检验发现:当人、劳动价值与制度之间的关系相互协调时,以高价值预期与高价值赋予为代表的“双高”类型是劳动关系中的最优博弈类型;反之,则可能出现劳动关系的稳定性缺陷。这由此反映出“人与制度”的伴生性问题。因此,建立高校教师和谐劳动关系需要强化人、劳动价值与制度之间的内在共生逻辑,以及扭转价值失序局面,从而回归价值理性,提升价值赋予与价值预期的适配性。

劳动关系微分化视角下网约工劳动权益的法律保障

在算法技术与平台经济相得益彰共同推进数字经济向纵深方向发展的过程中,劳动关系日益呈现出微分化的演化趋势,使得以网约工为代表的新业态从业人员陷入了“身份不明确”的主体性危机与“权益保障难”的双重困境,不仅对传统的劳动从属基础性理论提出了新的挑战,而且也日益凸显现行法律制度供给不足的现状。基于网约工群体经济从属性、人格从属性与组织从属性微分化趋势之系统理论分析,科学审视与证成微分化视阈下具有劳动从属性的网约工“第三类劳动者”之身份,并将“内在经济与人格从属程度的差距均以外在劳动量的差别为表现形式”这一从属性微分化之核心作为识别与判定标准,对具有不同强度从属性的“第三类劳动者”给予不同程度的劳动法倾斜保护,希冀能平衡平台经济有序发展与网约工劳动权益合法保障之间的关系,为健全和完善我国劳动法律制度体系提供符合数字经济内在运行规律的科学立法选择。
