Practice and Exploration of Ideological and Political Teaching in Landscape Design Courses for Environmental Design Majors

To implement the fundamental goal of moral education,based on the teaching practice of landscape design courses,we explore how to integrate value shaping,knowledge transfer,and skill cultivation in the teaching links of landscape design courses in environmental design majors,such as selecting design topics,assigning tasks,researching projects,designing works,designing explanations,and defense.

Research on Landscape Design of Waterfront Public Space in Mountainous Cities Based on User Experience-Taking the Waterfront Landscape Design of Art Peninsula in Chongqing as an Example

Mountainous cities are dominated by mountainous,hilly,and steep terrain,which brings certain complexity and particularity to the planning and construction of waterfront spaces in these cities compared to plain cities.Waterfront spaces,often serving as the core areas of city development,possess favorable location advantages and special attributes of water-land intersection,giving them more possibilities for functional transformation[1].However,the ultimate goal of design is to provide users with a vibrant waterfront area.The design of waterfront spaces should focus more on people’s behavioral needs,allowing users to feel a good interaction between the place and their behavioral needs during space usage[2].Therefore,the design incorporates human environmental behavior,increases interactive experiences,and enriches spatial interest.

Application of Jingchu Cultural Elements in Theme Park Landscape Design

As an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,Jingchu culture has profound historical and cultural value.The exploration and application of Jingchu culture elements is conducive to carrying forward and inheriting history and culture and enriching urban cultural deposits.Theme park is an important place to spread and promote Jingchu culture.It is of far-reaching significance to study and explore the integration of Jingchu culture elements into the construction of theme park.This paper analyzes the concept and connotation of Jingchu culture,combs and analyzes the extraction content of Jingchu culture elements,and summarizes the expression pathways of Jingchu culture elements in theme park and the practical application in Jingzhou Fantawild,in order to provide certain inspiration and reference for contemporary landscape designers to better inherit and develop Jingchu culture elements.

Research on the Reform Strategy of Integrating Labor Education into Landscape Design Curriculum

With the development of the new era,the concept of three-whole education has put forward a requisite where teaching must begin from the current state of student labor,integrate labor education into subject teaching,and cultivate and improve students’awareness of labor through practice and guidance.In this paper,the importance of integrating labor education into landscape design courses and the current state of integration are discussed.On this basis,the reform strategy of integrating labor education into landscape design curriculum is explored,laying a foundation for a better implementation of labor education.

Landscape Design Method of Sustainable Development Based on the Modest Principle

＂Over＂ phenomenon exists in all fields of society, and over thoughts and behaviors not only waste resources, but also destroy the ecological environment.Landscape design is also facing the dilemma of over planning, over design and over construction. Based on the paraphrase and explanation of ＂degree＂, the principle for modest landscape design with the concept of sustainable development was explored through the analysis on the concept of sustainable development, which emphasized the ＂degree＂ standard in landscape design, and the combination of regional features with native features to carry out ecological design, with the aim to facilitate the landscape designers to design the ＂modest＂ landscape with sustainable development.

Evaluation of urban river landscape design rationality based on AHP

An evaluation model for the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers was established with the analytic hierarchy process （AHP） method so as to provide a foundation for updating the landscape design of urban rivers. The evaluation system was divided into four layers, including the target layer, the comprehensive layer, the element layer, and the index layer. Each layer was made of different indices. The evaluation standards for each index were also given in this paper. This evaluation model was proved tenable through its application to the landscape design rationality evaluation of the Weihe River in Xinxiang City of Henan Province. The results show that the water quality, space, activity, facility, community, width of vegetation, sense of beauty and water content are among the most influential factors and should be considered the main basis for evaluating the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers.

Study on Ecological Landscape Design in Rural Sewage Treatment-Taking Sanmenxia Lushi Sewage Treatment Station as an Example

The problem of water pollution is one of the long-term difficulties in the process of rural environmental construction and economic development in China.In order to meet the requirements of the country’s green and sustainable development,many regions actively promote the construction of rural sewage treatment and fill in the shortcomings of the rural habitat environment to accelerate the construction of beautiful and livable villages.Through a lot of literature and case studies,this paper explores the environmental problems that are common in rural sewage treatment in the northern region of China,explores advanced domestic and foreign cases and technologies on this topic,and summarizes the landscape design strategies on this issue.From the perspective of ecological landscape design,the thesis seeks the theoretical and technical support for rural sewage treatment in river valley areas,and establishes a bridge between rural sewage treatment technology and ecological landscape.Finally,combining theory with practice,taking the project of Lushi sewage treatment in Sanmenxia as an example,team completed the landscape design of ecological sewage purification display area in Zhangjiacun.The design focuses on presenting the application of internal sewage treatment technology and external landscape aesthetics.According to the main points of ecological landscape design and the theory of ecological edge effect,the local ecological system is effectively protected,and a rural domestic sewage purification display area with economic benefits is constructed.

External Landscape Design of Affordable Housing in Yuxing Homeland of Shanghai City

Approaches of external landscape design for affordable housing were discussed through analyzing the landscape designs of Yuxing Homeland in Shanghai City. By adopting simple landscape elements, following the design principle of 'natural, simple and comfortable', proceeding from the overall concept, a space for neighbors’ communication with pleasant environment and outstanding functions was created, a harmonious living environment was built, and the optimal landscape benefits were obtained.

Plant Landscape Design Language of Small Street Parks in Tropical Coastal Regions:A Case Study of Zhanjiang City

Small urban street parks play an irreplaceable role in protecting ecological environment of cities and beautifying living spaces of citizens, in these parks plant is an essential landscaping element that can not only improve environmental quality, but also provide visual enjoyment for viewers. There are many small street parks in Zhanjiang City, however, plant landscapes in such parks lack in regional characteristics because of blind copy and random planting. By analyzing plant landscapes in typical street parks in Zhanjiang, and borrowing the theoretical research framework of linguistics, this paper concluded the vocabulary, sentence,chapter and grammatical rules of plant landscape design, in order to explore new methods for the plant landscape design of small parks in tropical coastal regions.

Research on Rural Landscape Design from the Perspective of Ecological Culture

Although rural landscape design brings convenience to farmers,there are many problems such as severe homogenization,lack of local culture and lack of comprehensive planning.The distant points of planning are refl ected by highlighting distinctive regional culture,advocating construction of ecological culture,and encouraging protection of traditional architecture.The problems in rural landscape design are settled by solving three agricultural problems and promoting the development of rural tourism,so as to achieve the coordinated development of rural economy and culture.

Underground Space Landscape Design of Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo

Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo is the dynamic cluster area of well-known enterprise headquarters,and it has created the scheme layout of integrated design above and below ground according to regional planning characteristics and the characteristics of the times.The underground space landscape design of Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo is a typical case of underground space development in China,and the summary of design strategy is helpful for improving underground space landscape design level in China.The existing problems in landscape design of Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo are found through fi eld investigation,and the law of underground space landscape design in Business Zone B is summarized.Due to the fact that the development of underground space can not be reversed,the optimization design strategy of underground space landscape,such as strengthening the connectivity of underground space,enriching the sunken square and courtyard,and creating good physical environment of underground space,is put forward to improve the status quo of underground space environment.The construction level of underground space landscape in China has been constantly improving.As long as the urban planning is reasonable and pays attention to the application of integrated design of ground and underground,architectural technology and art combination in underground space environment,the construction of urban underground space landscape will become more ecological,humanized and diversifi ed.

An Analysis of Climate Impact on Landscape Design

According to the severe climate change in recent days, professionals among different fields now pay more attention to the management and adjustment when meeting the issues of climate. Moreover, climate also obviously affects the natural and designed landscape. To systematically and specifically understand how landscape is designed in response to different climate, this paper will firstly discuss the fundamental interaction between landscape design and climate. And then it will evaluate the different landscape elements dealing with different types of climate, finally and importantly to analysis the definite impact on practical landscape design based on former findings. The result will focus on the decision making on design methods within climate change and provide rational recommendations for designers and planning of future landscape design.

Evidence-based Landscape Design of University Campus:Relationship Between Characteristics of Outdoor Environments and Actual Uses of Students

Several studies have shown a positive relationship between high quality outdoor environments and users’health.Education of agricultural professionals also demands high quality outdoor environments in order to promote students’wellbeing,which in turn supports scientific researches.This study analyzed relationship between students’actual uses and campus outdoor environments,identified what environmental characteristics that students prefered,how they used and why they participated in the outdoor activities.The results could be used as guidance of campus design and management.Investigation of three universities in Harbin provided 686 valid questionnaires.The results suggested that health awareness effectively promoted students’use frequencies of outdoor environments.Environment with"natural"and"cultural"characteristics,especially undulating landform,vibrant plants and landmarks in a serpentins design style attracted more uses.Female students showed more preferences on social interaction activities than males.Students who had good economic consumption levels and participated in outdoor activities frequntly in childhood prefered to join all the kinds of activities after university enrollment.

Study on Landscape Design of Rural Tourism Based on Guilin Scenery Culture

Landscape Design Talents' Knowledge and Ability Structure Based on Industry Demands

Knowledge transference and ability training are 2 standing points and starting points for the industry demands-oriented talent cultivation of modern higher education.In terms of landscape design knowledge,the landscape design industry requires 3 major knowledge modules,namely basic knowledge and theories,professional knowledge,and relevant knowledge;in terms of ability,it also requires 3 major ability modules,namely computer-aided design(CAD),design performance ability and ability of making conception,and each of them includes many specific knowledge points and ability points.It is important for such teaching processes as real question and proposition teaching,studio teaching and project-led teaching to propose a dual-track talent cultivation scheme focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical ability according to the needs of landscape design industry.Moreover,it is imperative to arrange relevant courses and curriculum group that reflect knowledge and ability demands,as well as practicing courses or comprehensive design projects based on ability structure.

Taking landscape design of Suburban Park in Yulin City for example, this paper applied the design thoughts of integrating multiple planning, defining concepts and objectives, specified the design strategies of restoring ecology, improving life and promoting production, and disclosed the landscape design mode based on the integration of ecology, production and life in which ecological landscapes, productive landscapes and living landscapes promote and coexist harmoniously with each other.

Landscape Design of Colleges and Universities Based on Low Impact Concept: A Case Study of the Shared Training Base from Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology

In recent years, the acceleration of urbanization process results in frequent watedoggingj the decline of groundwater level and frequent urban infiasttucture construction pfoblem. In order to better safeguard complex ecological system and ecological civilization construction in tiie city, and solve the appropriate ratio of water and wetland area to total land area, for water ecological civilization construction in low impact development, the pursuit of water resources sustainability, the pursuit of safety concept, the pursuit of ecological engineeting technology and the pursuit of art are proposed. Based on these pursuits, the principles and design methods of campus landscape creation in colleges and univefsities under the concept of elow impact^ is analyzed. Taking the landscape design, of the shated training base from Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology as an example, how to use the concept of clow impacf？ development in actual cases is analyze4 to achieve rainwater collection, water purification, water storage and rainwater ecological utilization, and create a holistic, ecological and diverse sustainable landscape in colleges and universities.
