Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Based on Landscape Ecology Theory:A Case Study of Waterfront Landscape Planning and Design of Dapo Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,landscape architecture has become an indispensable component of daily life.In order to achieve better landscape effects and protect the ecological environment,landscape ecology theory can be integrated into landscape planning to carry out disciplinary crossing and integration research between landscape ecology and landscape architecture.In this study,based on the basic theories of landscape ecology,the waterfront landscape of Dapo Town was designed,with the aim to achieve ecological balance in planning,showcase biodiversity,and create a harmonious landscape ecological environment which can benefit both nature and people.This design combined artificial and natural elements while improving the natural environment,which promoted a harmonious relationship between humans and nature,thus enriching the spatial organization of the city,and playing a role in regulating the urban environment and climate.

Research on Landscape Design of Waterfront Public Space in Mountainous Cities Based on User Experience-Taking the Waterfront Landscape Design of Art Peninsula in Chongqing as an Example

Mountainous cities are dominated by mountainous,hilly,and steep terrain,which brings certain complexity and particularity to the planning and construction of waterfront spaces in these cities compared to plain cities.Waterfront spaces,often serving as the core areas of city development,possess favorable location advantages and special attributes of water-land intersection,giving them more possibilities for functional transformation[1].However,the ultimate goal of design is to provide users with a vibrant waterfront area.The design of waterfront spaces should focus more on people’s behavioral needs,allowing users to feel a good interaction between the place and their behavioral needs during space usage[2].Therefore,the design incorporates human environmental behavior,increases interactive experiences,and enriches spatial interest.

Landscape Design and Application of Plants in Modern Residential Area

Based on the present situation of plant landscape in residential areas, this study aimed to analyze the development trend, deficiencies in constructing landscape environment and the basic designing principles, and put forward corresponding countermeasures.

Reflect on Landscape Design of Wangdian Residential Area in Langfang City

This paper analyzed the existing problems of landscape design of Wangdian residential area in Langfang City and put forward relevant suggestions and improvement measures.As far as water landscape was concerned,it was advocated to reduce water size,and enhance integrity of water and green space and interaction between water and residents.In terms of green space,it was suggested to plant more arbors and shrubs,and be particular about the environmental and seasonal factor of plant cultivation.Lawns should be substituted by Sedum spetabiles.The design of hard landscape should be of ornamentation,interest,participation and living nature,close to life,embodying human spirit.The layout of activity space should take physiological and psychological characteristics of different people groups into full consideration and manifest humanity and practicality.The study and suggestions were aimed at building the residential area into a community where human,architectures and environment were in harmony through good material planning.

Excavating and Expressing the Individuality Culture in the Environmental Landscape Design of Residential Plot——Taking the Environmental Landscape Section of ‘Miaojiang·Yujinyuan’ Residential Plot in Taijiang County of Guizhou Province as an Example

Local culture resources were excavated and expressed in environmental landscape section of ‘Miaojiang ·Yujinyuan’ residential plot in Taijiang County of Guizhou Province, with lusheng, Bronze drum and national architecture as design elements. Making environmental landscape of residential plot, where the minority nationality lived in, possess culture agreement and emotion arrangement.

With landscape design of residential areas as the study object, by combining with the "low energy consumption, low pollution and low emission" principle of low-carbon economy, this paper tries to analyze the relatively systematic low-carbon landscape designs of modern residential areas.

Analysis of Landscape Design of the Visual Aids to Navigation of Inland Waterway

The visual navigation marks are established purposely,which transfer information to the trained observer in order to navigate.The visual aids to navigation in freshwater could give aid to navigation.In addition,through its basic shape,appearance forms and colors,the landscape of navigation waterway is also displayed.The aids to navigation together with channel revetment and other surrounding landscape elements determine the landscape effect of the navigation waterway.Through analyzing the design of aids to navigation features,the design impact factors,the landscape design principles and methods of treatment are proposed in this research,in order to provide some references for the design of future visual aids to navigation.

Improvement Design of Waterfront Landscape—With the Yellow River Scenic Area in Zhengzhou City as a Study Case

From the perspective of "human", this study focuses on the feeling of people in a certain region about the waterfront environment, by combining with theories in landscape architecture, environmental psychology and other interdisciplines, in view of present situation of waterfront landscapes in the Yellow River Scenic Area of Zhengzhou City, tries to find new approaches for waterfront landscape design and development based on landscape design principles and exploration of the human's nature of loving water and the interaction between tourists and waterfront landscapes.

Modern landscape emphasizes the resource conservation and sustainable development.Simple and fine residential green areas should be the development trend.Taking the landscape design of Huayu residential area on Baoping Road in Baoji City of Shaanxi Province as an example,the way how to create a fine view and a good ecological environment for the people living in the bustling city with less investment and simple maintenance was analyzed.

Landscape Design of Green Spaces in Residential Districts

Field investigation shows that neighboring green space is an important part of the public landscaping for all residential districts,because it is able to highlight effects of landscaping and beautification,satisfy needs of human-centered designs and show individualized landscape characteristics,moreover,it shows great influence on the landscape quality of residential districts.In view of problems in landscape design of residential districts,this study focuses on plant furnishing patterns,landscape demonstration effects and landscape differences,and then gives suggestions correspondingly,for example,plant furnishing patterns and cultural connotations of landscapes should be improved,human needs put on the top priority,and spaces organized in a proper way.The study aims to provide useful reference for the construction of external environment in residential districts.

Design of a Landscape Device for Children from the Perspective of Embodied Cognition in the New Era

In recent years,embodied cognition has ushered in a new research upsurge in the academic field,and has become a hot topic in the field of cognitive psychology.In this paper,from the perspective of embodied cognition,the interaction ways of a landscape device for children were discussed to achieve a more real and harmonious interaction between children and scenes.The research data of embodied cognition used by children was analyzed,and the drawbacks and breakthrough points of current landscape devices for children were discussed.The core characteristics of children’s growth period were extracted to establish children’s interaction model and summarize the interactive design methods of landscape devices for children.Embodied cognition has become the most intuitive way for children to know and understand the environment,and plays a pivotal role in children’s growth.Based on embodied cognition principle and interactive behavior mode,the interactive design of a landscape device for children was studied,and three interactive design modes,including simple and convenient interaction mode,multi-sensory interaction mode and game natural interaction mode were summarized.On the basis of this research,relevant design practice and research were carried out to bring a new vision to the design of children’s landscape.

Comparison and Selection of Water Restoration Techniques for Artificial Landscape Lakes in Nantong City

As an important part of urban infrastructure,urban water system is of great and far-reaching significance for ensuring urban flood control and waterlogging safety,protecting ecological environment and building livable homes.Taking the urban water system of Nantong as an example,Nantong Water Resources Bureau issued R evision of Nantong Urban Water System Planning in 2017,and put forward the construction of the"two circles,eight lakes and nine veins"water system layout,giving new vitality to the urban water system.In view of problems existing in newly excavated artificial landscape lakes,such as fragile water ecosystem,strong eutrophication trend,poor environmental sensory effect and unsatisfactory water landscape effect,it is urgent to study the in-situ water ecological restoration technique of"algae-controlling zooplankton+submerged plant community"to build a"grass-type clear water"ecosystem for artificial landscape lakes,so as to improve the water sensory index and self-purification ability and finally realize the double improvement of"sensory effect and water quality"of artificial landscape lakes.

Ecological Remediation Technology of Urban Landscape Water Body

Urban landscape water body is not only an important part of urban landscape construction,but also an important way to maintain landscape diversity and biodiversity,carrying the beautiful yearning of urban residents for natural life.A good state of urban landscape water body is crucial to the ecological environment of the city.However,due to the poor kinetic energy of urban landscape water body and the influence of various human factors,the quality of urban landscape water body often declines,and urban population is threatened by water security problems.Through the study of several water body ecological remediation technologies,relevant suggestions are put forward,in order to provide a reference for water pollution restoration and treatment in urban human settlement environment.

Application of Modern Construction Art in Landscape Architecture Planning and Design

The continuous progress of urbanization has driven the continuous development and innovation of landscape planning and design.Focused on the important design method of modern construction art,this study analyzed its concepts and characteristics,and made deep exploration to its application in landscape planning and design.The results indicated that modern construction art had a significant impact on landscape spatial planning and layout,spatial design forms,and spatial ornaments.The use of modern construction art concepts could make landscape design more scientific,artistic,and humane,creating higher quality leisure and entertainment venues for audiences.

Practice and Exploration of Ideological and Political Teaching in Landscape Design Courses for Environmental Design Majors

To implement the fundamental goal of moral education,based on the teaching practice of landscape design courses,we explore how to integrate value shaping,knowledge transfer,and skill cultivation in the teaching links of landscape design courses in environmental design majors,such as selecting design topics,assigning tasks,researching projects,designing works,designing explanations,and defense.

Landscape Planning and Design of Eagle Residential Area in Lin'an City of China

The implementation of urban-rural integration and the development of economy had promoted small towns' construction.People increasingly required higher for the landscape of residential areas in small towns and the living environment construction of small towns had become one of the hot issues in recent years.In view of problems existing in the construction of residential areas of small towns,by taking landscape planning and design of Eagle Residential Area in Yuqian Town of Lin'an City for example,the paper had analyzed principles and ideas for landscape planning and design,and relevant indicators,so as to provide reference for landscape planning and design in residential areas of small towns.

Behavioral fragmentation of waterfowl habitat and its landscape ecological design in Shuangtai-hekou Reserve,Liaoning,China

Behavioral fragmentation of wildlife habitat is discussed. Using “buffer” module in ARC/INFO, behavioral fragmentation habitat of Red crowned crane, Saunders gull, Oriental white stork and Siberian white crane was calculated in the Shuangtai hekou National Reserve, Liaoning Province, China. The result showed that breeding Red crowned crane, Siberian white crane and breeding Saunders gull are very sensitive to fragmentation factors. Suitable habitat is so little for more than 2000 Saunders gull to breed. The reserve only has a capacity of 38 pairs for breeding Red crowed crane. Two key measures were made. First, dismantles all the abandoned oil wells and recovers the original ecosystem to decrease the fragmentation effect, directly benefit to breeding or migration of Red crowned crane and Oriental white stork. Second, recovers the Suaeda tidal mud flat from artificial shrimp and crab pond in the kernel zone of the reserve to enlarge the habitat area of Saunders gull and Siberian white crane.

This paper reviewed basic principles of small courtyard landscape design, and analyzed the way of integrating plants and other landscape elements in small courtyards.

Research on Landscape Optimization Design in Urban Waterfront Area——A Case Study of Jinghang Grand Canal in Suqian City of China

It could find from the survey and analysis that there existed many problems in landscape status of the west bank of Jinghang Grand Canal in Suqian City.For example,land function was scattered,eco-environment was poor,facilities were incomplete and road system was not perfect.Guided by the principle for landscape planning and design of waterfront area,some suggestions had been proposed from the perspective of the design of ecological plants community,design of road transport network,revetment management,control of waterfront buildings,and landscape node design,so as to construct the west bank of Jinghang Grand Canal into the most lively,charming and characteristic waterfront area in Suqian City.

Design of Landscape Gardens in Urban Residential Areas

In this paper,the function of afforestation in urban residential areas was analyzed,and the connotation of landscape garden design in the urban residential areas with ecological beauty,shape beauty,and color beauty was discussed.This study focused on the design of the multi-level urban landscape garden,which took arbors as the main body,shrubs as the auxiliary,flowers as the embellishment,evergreen plants as the leading,and deciduous plants as the backdrop and which had preference for native plants and properly introduced exotic featured plants,so as to build a livable city.
