Structured microgrids(SμGs)and Flexible electronic large power transformers(FeLPTs)are emerging as two essential technologies for renewable energy integration,flexible power transmission,and active control.SμGs prov...Structured microgrids(SμGs)and Flexible electronic large power transformers(FeLPTs)are emerging as two essential technologies for renewable energy integration,flexible power transmission,and active control.SμGs provide the integration of renewable energy and storage to balance the energy demand and supply as needed for a given system design.FeLPT’s flexibility for processing,control,and re-configurability offers the capability for flexible transmission for effective flow control and enable SμGs connectivity while still keeping multiscale system level control.Early adaptors for combined heat and power have demonstrated significant economic benefits while reducing environmental foot prints.They bring tremendous benefits to utility companies also.With storage and active control capabilities,a 300-percent increase in bulk transmission and distribution lines are possible without having to increase capacity.SμGs and FeLPTs will also enable the utility industry to be better prepared for the emerging large increase in base load demand from electric transportation and data centers.This is a win-win-win situation for the consumer,the utilities(grid operators),and the environment.SμGs and FeLPTs provide value in power substation,energy surety,reliability,resiliency,and security.It is also shown that the initial cost associated with SμG and FeLPTs deployment can be easily offset with reduced operating cost,which in turn reduces the total life-cycle cost by 33%to 67%.展开更多

BACKGROUND The effects of T-cell immunoglobulin mucin molecule-3(Tim-3),transforming growth factor β(TGF-β),and chemokine-12(CXCL12) expression on the prognosis of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL) ...BACKGROUND The effects of T-cell immunoglobulin mucin molecule-3(Tim-3),transforming growth factor β(TGF-β),and chemokine-12(CXCL12) expression on the prognosis of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL) have not been elucidated.AIM To examine the correlation between Tim-3,TGF-β and CXCL12 expression and DLBCL prognosis.METHODS Lymph node tissues of 97 patients with DLBCL and 93 normal-response hyperplastic lymph node tissues treated from January 2017 to May 2019 were selected as the DLBCL and control groups,respectively.The expression of Tim-3,TGF-β,and CXCL12 was detected immunohistochemically.Patients were followed up for 3 years,and progression-free survival was recorded.Cox mult-ifactorial analysis was performed to analyze the risk factors for poor prognosis.RESULTS The positive expression rates of Tim-3,TGF-β,and CXCL12 were higher in DLBCL tissues than in non-cancerous(control) tissues(P < 0.05).One-year postsurgery,the positive expression rates of Tim-3,TGF-β,and CXCL12 were higher in patients with effective treatment than in those with ineffective treatment(P < 0.05).The 3-year progression-free survival of 97 patients with DLBCL was 67.01%(65/97).Univariate analysis revealed that clinical stage,bone marrow infiltration,International Prognostic Index(IPI) score,Tim-3 positivity,TGF-β positivity,and CXCL12 positivity were associated with poor prognosis(P < 0.05).Multivariate Cox regression analysis demonstrated that clinical stage Ⅲ–Ⅳ,bone marrow infiltration,mediate-to-high-risk IPI scores,Tim-3 positivity,TGF-β positivity,and CXCL12 positivity were independent risk factors affecting prognosis(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION DLBCL tissues exhibit high positive expression of Tim-3,TGF-β,and CXCL12,and a high expression of all three indicates a poor prognosis.展开更多
Shape memory alloys(SMAs)have been explored as smart materials and used as dampers,actuator elements,and smart sensors.An important character of SMAs is its ability to recover all of its large deformations in mechan...Shape memory alloys(SMAs)have been explored as smart materials and used as dampers,actuator elements,and smart sensors.An important character of SMAs is its ability to recover all of its large deformations in mechanical loading-unloading cycles without showing permanent deformation.This paper presents a stress-induced phenomenological constitutive equation for SMAs,which can be used to describe the superelastic hysteresis loops and phase transformation between Martensite and Austenite.The Martensite fraction of SMAs is assumed to be dependent on deviatoric stress tensor.Therefore,phase transformation of SMAs is volume preserving during the phase transformation.The model is implemented in large deformation finite element code and cast in the updated Lagrangian scheme.In order to use the Cauchy stress and the linear strain in constitutive laws,a frame indifferent stress objective rate has to be used.In this paper,the Jaumann stress rate is used.Results of the numerical experiments conducted in this study show that the superelastic hysteresis loops arising with the phase transformation can be effectively captured.展开更多

BACKGROUND Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)is an aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects B lymphocytes.It can develop in the lymph nodes and can be localized or generalized.Despite DLBCL being considered pote...BACKGROUND Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)is an aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects B lymphocytes.It can develop in the lymph nodes and can be localized or generalized.Despite DLBCL being considered potentially curable,little research has been conducted on the relationship between the body's immune response and DLBCL.AIM To study the expression and significance of T-regulatory cells(Tregs)interleukin(IL)-35,IL-10,and transforming growth factor-beta(TGF-β)in DLBCL.METHODS Data from 82 patients with DLBCL who were initially admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University(Zhejiang Province,China)between January 2017 and June 2022 and treated with standard first-line regimens were reviewed.Three patients were lost to follow-up;thus,79 patients were included in the statistical analysis and then divided into three groups according to the evaluation of clinical efficacy:Incipient(new-onset and treatment-naïve),effectively treated,and relapsed-refractory.Thirty healthy individuals were included in the control group.The expression of peripheral blood T lymphocytes and their associated factors IL-35,IL-10,and TGF-βin the four groups were observed.RESULTS In contrast to the successfully treated and normal control groups,both the incipient and relapse-refractory groups exhibited greater proportions of CD4-positive(+)Tregs(P<0.05),whereas the proportion of CD8+Tregs did not differ substantially between the groups.Serum levels of IL-35 and IL-10 in the incipient and relapsed-refractory groups were higher than those in the effectively treated and normal control groups(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant distinction in the expression level of TGF-βbetween the groups(P>0.05).The correlation between IL-35 and IL-10 concentrations was significantly positive,with a correlation coefficient of 0.531(P<0.05).The correlation between IL-35 and TGF-βconcentration was significantly positive,with a correlation coefficient of 0.375(P<0.05).The correlation between IL-10 and TGF-βconcentration was significantly positive,with a correlation coefficient of 0.185(P<0.05).The expression concentrations of IL-35,IL-10 and TGF-βwere apparently and positively correlated(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Tregs IL-35,and IL-10 may be closely associated with the occurrence and development of DLBCL and the detection of related indices may be helpful in the analysis of disease prognosis.展开更多

Their flood basalts and associated intrusions can cause significant release of SO4 and ...Large igneous provinces (LIPs) are considered a relevant cause for mass extinctions of marine life throughout Earth's history. Their flood basalts and associated intrusions can cause significant release of SO4 and CO2 and consequently, cause major environmental disruptions. Here, we reconstruct the long-term periodic pattern of LIP emplacement and its impact on ocean chemistry and biodiversity from δ34Ssulfate of the last 520 Ma under particular consideration of the preservation limits of LIP records. A combination of cross-wavelet and other time-series analysis methods has been applied to quantify a potential chain of linkage between LIP emplacement periodicity, geochemical changes and the Phanerozoic marine genera record. We suggest a mantle plume cyclicity represented by LIP volumes (V) of V= (350-770) × 103km3sin(27πt/ 170 Ma)+ (300-650)× 103 km3 sin(2πt/64.5 Ma + 2.3) for t= time in Ma. A shift from the 64.5 Ma to a weaker -28-35 Ma LIP cyclicity during the Jurassic contributes together with probably independent changes in the marine sulfur cycle to less ocean anoxia, and a general stabilization of ocean chemistry and increasing marine biodiversity throughout the last -135 Ma. The LIP cycle pattern is coherent with marine biodiversity fluctuations corresponding to a reduction of marine biodiversity of -120 genera/Ma at 600 x 103 km3 LIP eruption volume. The 62-65 Ma LIP cycle pattern as well as excursion in -34Ssulfate and marine genera reduction suggest a not-vet identified found LIP event at - 440-450 Ma.展开更多

The Bogolyubov method of canonical transformation of coordinates is formulated for a system of an electron and field, taking into account rigorous fulfillment of the conservation laws. Separation of variables is carried out for the coordinates describing the translational degrees of freedom and the electron oscillations in a polarization well. The equations obtained for the electronic states explicitly depend on the velocity of the free polaron as a whole. An estimate is made for free polaron in ammonia.展开更多

Finite difference method is widely applied to solving these problems due to its ease of use. However, when the wave number is large, the pollution effects are still a major difficulty in obtaining accurate numerical solutions. We develop a fast algorithm for solving three-dimensional Helmholtz boundary problems with large wave numbers. The boundary of computational domain is discrete based on high-order compact difference scheme. Using the properties of the tensor product and the discrete Fourier sine transform method, the original problem is solved by splitting it into independent small tridiagonal subsystems. Numerical examples with impedance boundary conditions are used to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed algorithm. Results demonstrate that the algorithm has a fourth- order convergence in and -norms, and costs less CPU calculation time and random access memory.展开更多

BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)eradication treatment for primary gastric mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma has already been established.However,t(11;18)(q21;q21)/API2-MALT1 translocation-positive...BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)eradication treatment for primary gastric mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma has already been established.However,t(11;18)(q21;q21)/API2-MALT1 translocation-positive lesions are a type of primary gastric MALT lymphoma in which a response to eradication treatment is difficult to achieve.In addition,trisomy 18 may be associated with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)transformation of gastric MALT lymphoma.CASE SUMMARY A 66-year-old man was diagnosed with MALT lymphoma in the ascending colon by colonoscopy and biopsy.Two years later,esophagogastroduodenoscopy revealed chronic atrophic gastritis that was positive for H.pylori,and eradication treatment was administered.Two years and nine months later(at the age of 70),a new ulcerative lesion suggestive of MALT lymphoma appeared in the gastric body,and six months later,a similar lesion was also found in the fundus.One year later(4 years and 3 months after H.pylori eradication),at the age of 72,the lesion in the gastric body had become deeper and had propagated.A biopsy revealed a pathological diagnosis of DLBCL.Both MALT lymphoma lesions in the ascending colon and DLBCL lesions in the stomach were positive for the t(11;18)(q21;q21)/API2-MALT1 translocation,and trisomy 18q21 was also detected.After 6 courses of R-CHOP(rituximab,cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine and prednisone)chemotherapy,all of the above lesions disappeared[complete remission(CR)],and CR has been maintained for more than 3 years.In addition,both the colonic and gastric lesions were proven to have the same clonality.CONCLUSION Because the patient had a MALT1 translocation with trisomy 18q21,it was thought that this gastric MALT lymphoma developed independently of H.pylori infection and progressed.展开更多

The computational complexity of the hybrid method is dramatically declined by applying conjugate gradient-fast Fourier transform( CG-FFT) to the integral equations of both electric field and magnetic field. The efficiency is further improved by using OpenMP technique. Numerical results demonstrate that the SSED-MoM /FEM method can be accelerated for more than three thousand times with large-scale periodic structures.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)is an aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects B lymphocytes.It can develop in the lymph nodes and can be localized or generalized.Despite DLBCL being considered potentially curable,little research has been conducted on the relationship between the body's immune response and DLBCL.AIM To study the expression and significance of T-regulatory cells(Tregs)interleukin(IL)-35,IL-10,and transforming growth factor-beta(TGF-β)in DLBCL.METHODS Data from 82 patients with DLBCL who were initially admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University(Zhejiang Province,China)between January 2017 and June 2022 and treated with standard first-line regimens were reviewed.Three patients were lost to follow-up;thus,79 patients were included in the statistical analysis and then divided into three groups according to the evaluation of clinical efficacy:Incipient(new-onset and treatment-naïve),effectively treated,and relapsed-refractory.Thirty healthy individuals were included in the control group.The expression of peripheral blood T lymphocytes and their associated factors IL-35,IL-10,and TGF-βin the four groups were observed.RESULTS In contrast to the successfully treated and normal control groups,both the incipient and relapse-refractory groups exhibited greater proportions of CD4-positive(+)Tregs(P<0.05),whereas the proportion of CD8+Tregs did not differ substantially between the groups.Serum levels of IL-35 and IL-10 in the incipient and relapsed-refractory groups were higher than those in the effectively treated and normal control groups(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant distinction in the expression level of TGF-βbetween the groups(P>0.05).The correlation between IL-35 and IL-10 concentrations was significantly positive,with a correlation coefficient of 0.531(P<0.05).The correlation between IL-35 and TGF-βconcentration was significantly positive,with a correlation coefficient of 0.375(P<0.05).The correlation between IL-10 and TGF-βconcentration was significantly positive,with a correlation coefficient of 0.185(P<0.05).The expression concentrations of IL-35,IL-10 and TGF-βwere apparently and positively correlated(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Tregs IL-35,and IL-10 may be closely associated with the occurrence and development of DLBCL and the detection of related indices may be helpful in the analysis of disease prognosis.

文摘Large igneous provinces (LIPs) are considered a relevant cause for mass extinctions of marine life throughout Earth's history. Their flood basalts and associated intrusions can cause significant release of SO4 and CO2 and consequently, cause major environmental disruptions. Here, we reconstruct the long-term periodic pattern of LIP emplacement and its impact on ocean chemistry and biodiversity from δ34Ssulfate of the last 520 Ma under particular consideration of the preservation limits of LIP records. A combination of cross-wavelet and other time-series analysis methods has been applied to quantify a potential chain of linkage between LIP emplacement periodicity, geochemical changes and the Phanerozoic marine genera record. We suggest a mantle plume cyclicity represented by LIP volumes (V) of V= (350-770) × 103km3sin(27πt/ 170 Ma)+ (300-650)× 103 km3 sin(2πt/64.5 Ma + 2.3) for t= time in Ma. A shift from the 64.5 Ma to a weaker -28-35 Ma LIP cyclicity during the Jurassic contributes together with probably independent changes in the marine sulfur cycle to less ocean anoxia, and a general stabilization of ocean chemistry and increasing marine biodiversity throughout the last -135 Ma. The LIP cycle pattern is coherent with marine biodiversity fluctuations corresponding to a reduction of marine biodiversity of -120 genera/Ma at 600 x 103 km3 LIP eruption volume. The 62-65 Ma LIP cycle pattern as well as excursion in -34Ssulfate and marine genera reduction suggest a not-vet identified found LIP event at - 440-450 Ma.
文摘基于基波磁通补偿的串联混合型有源电力滤波器(active power filter,APF)应用于高电压、大容量的谐波抑制场合时,受变压器励磁支路谐波电压的影响,逆变器不能等效为基波电流源,其输出电流将含有大量的谐波,从而影响滤波效果。以逆变器为核心,推导出在励磁支路谐波压降影响下的串联变压器的谐波等效阻抗。并以此为基础,从理论上分析励磁电感和变比对串联变压器谐波等效阻抗和APF滤波效果的影响。仿真结果验证了理论分析的正确性。最后,针对广东某厂10kV、1MVA电力负荷,研制一套基于基波磁通补偿的串联混合型有源滤波器工程样机,取得非常好的滤波效果。

文摘A study is presented for the large deflection dynamic response of rigid- plastic circular plate resting on potential fluid under a rectangular pressure pulse load. By virtue of Hankel integral transform technique,this interaction problem is reduced to a problem of dynamic plastic response of the plate in vacuum.The closed-form solutions are derived for both middle and high pressure loads by solving the equations of motion with the large deflection in the range where both bending moments and membrane forces are important.Some numerical results are given.
文摘The problem of spatial mathematical basis has been encountered by both large scale GIS and spatial digital products theoretically and practically.It is also a basic problem in the development of the whole geo_information science.After analyzing the status quo and the limitations of the space mathematical base of GIS,this paper points out definitely that the geodetic coordinate system is uniform,which can show the location of any point of the global exactly and uniquely in form of ( B,L,H ) and is the most proper reference system of large_scale GIS and Digital Earth.Moreover,this paper also puts forward a set of practical model of the standard "map projection".Finally,this paper introduces a DRG system based on this model.
文摘The translational motion of a large polaron as whole is analyzed in the context of its effect on the broadening of an absorption optical spectrum. It was open question how important the role of translational degrees of freedom and the corresponding velocities are on the broadening. The Bogolyubov method of canonical transformation of coordinates is formulated for a system of an electron and field, taking into account rigorous fulfillment of the conservation laws. Separation of variables is carried out for the coordinates describing the translational degrees of freedom and the electron oscillations in a polarization well. The equations obtained for the electronic states explicitly depend on the velocity of the free polaron as a whole. An estimate is made for free polaron in ammonia.
文摘Acoustic fields with impedance boundary conditions have high engineering applications, such as noise control and evaluation of sound insulation materials, and can be approximated by three-dimensional Helmholtz boundary value problems. Finite difference method is widely applied to solving these problems due to its ease of use. However, when the wave number is large, the pollution effects are still a major difficulty in obtaining accurate numerical solutions. We develop a fast algorithm for solving three-dimensional Helmholtz boundary problems with large wave numbers. The boundary of computational domain is discrete based on high-order compact difference scheme. Using the properties of the tensor product and the discrete Fourier sine transform method, the original problem is solved by splitting it into independent small tridiagonal subsystems. Numerical examples with impedance boundary conditions are used to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed algorithm. Results demonstrate that the algorithm has a fourth- order convergence in and -norms, and costs less CPU calculation time and random access memory.

文摘By introducing the Fourier filters, we analyse the correlation between large- and small-scale velocity components in homogeneous isotropic turbulence theoretically. We show that different Fourier filters act similarly on this multiscale correlation with a "natural" mechanism of removing the physical correlations between large- and small-scale velocity components. This conclusion calls for the further investigation on the Hilbert-Huang decomposition to investigate the mechanism of Marusic et al (2008).
文摘BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)eradication treatment for primary gastric mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma has already been established.However,t(11;18)(q21;q21)/API2-MALT1 translocation-positive lesions are a type of primary gastric MALT lymphoma in which a response to eradication treatment is difficult to achieve.In addition,trisomy 18 may be associated with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)transformation of gastric MALT lymphoma.CASE SUMMARY A 66-year-old man was diagnosed with MALT lymphoma in the ascending colon by colonoscopy and biopsy.Two years later,esophagogastroduodenoscopy revealed chronic atrophic gastritis that was positive for H.pylori,and eradication treatment was administered.Two years and nine months later(at the age of 70),a new ulcerative lesion suggestive of MALT lymphoma appeared in the gastric body,and six months later,a similar lesion was also found in the fundus.One year later(4 years and 3 months after H.pylori eradication),at the age of 72,the lesion in the gastric body had become deeper and had propagated.A biopsy revealed a pathological diagnosis of DLBCL.Both MALT lymphoma lesions in the ascending colon and DLBCL lesions in the stomach were positive for the t(11;18)(q21;q21)/API2-MALT1 translocation,and trisomy 18q21 was also detected.After 6 courses of R-CHOP(rituximab,cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine and prednisone)chemotherapy,all of the above lesions disappeared[complete remission(CR)],and CR has been maintained for more than 3 years.In addition,both the colonic and gastric lesions were proven to have the same clonality.CONCLUSION Because the patient had a MALT1 translocation with trisomy 18q21,it was thought that this gastric MALT lymphoma developed independently of H.pylori infection and progressed.

文摘A hybrid method combining simplified sub-entire domain basis function method of moment with finite element method( SSED-MoM /FEM) is accelerated for electromagnetic( EM) scattering analysis of large-scale periodic structures.The unknowns are reduced sharply with non-uniform mesh in FEM. The computational complexity of the hybrid method is dramatically declined by applying conjugate gradient-fast Fourier transform( CG-FFT) to the integral equations of both electric field and magnetic field. The efficiency is further improved by using OpenMP technique. Numerical results demonstrate that the SSED-MoM /FEM method can be accelerated for more than three thousand times with large-scale periodic structures.
