Teaching large,heterogeneous English class is now a teaching fact in China.It brings a lot of practical problems to English teachers who teach that kind of class because of the existence of differences among learners.This paper aims to provide practical principles illustrated by some scholars to address problems appeared in those classes and achieve the aim of better learning for all members of the class.

How to Apply Student-centered Teaching Techniques in a Large Class

It is very common to have a class of 50 or more students in Chinese schools, and teaching a foreign language effectively to a large class is really hard work. In order to change the teacher-centered teaching model into the student-centered one, Teachers should keep students' needs, interests, and learning styles in mind, apply several kinds of teaching techniques, organize different classroom activities and encourage, praise and appreciate both students' success and learning process all the time. If teachers place more responsibility in the hands of students, serve as "presenter or facilitator of knowledge" instead of "source of all knowledge", they can greatly motivate students to learn the language in a very active, cooperative and effective way. 对分课堂在本科护理专业解剖学教学中的应用效果

目的 探索在解剖学课程中应用对分课堂教学对护理专业本科生临床思维能力的影响。方法 将2020级护理本科生按照班级随机分为试验组(n=60)和对照组(n=60)。试验组采用对分课堂,对照组采用传统讲授法。比较教学后两组的考核成绩和临床思维能力得分。结果 教学后,试验组平时成绩(t=5.150)和期末理论考试成绩(t=7.060)均高于对照组(P<0.05)。教学实施前两组临床思维能力总分和各维度得分差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);教学后,试验组评判思维能力得分(t=4.557)、系统思维能力得分(t=3.667)、循证思维能力得分(t=5.975)及总分(t=6.809)均高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论 护理专业解剖学课程中应用对分课堂教学效果良好,有利于护理专业学生早期临床思维的培养。

基于“雨课堂+SPOC”的结构力学大班混合教学探索与实践

该文基于教学实践探讨结构力学大班教学采用“雨课堂+SPOC”的线上线下混合式教学模式的教学设计及教学效果。通过对2个学期多个教学班的统计数据分析表明,采用了混合式教学模式的班级及格率高、高分段人数占比大、课程满意度高,其中雨课堂及SPOC参与度高的学生成绩更佳。雨课堂的课堂互动与期末成绩的相关性最高,纸质作业的成绩与期末成绩也呈现出较高的相关性,表明传统教学手段与现代化的信息手段同等重要。对于大班教学中混合式教学信息化技术手段的合理应用,提出教学对策与设计建议。

SPOC联合翻转课堂在耳鼻咽喉头颈外科见习中的应用

耳鼻咽喉头颈外科学是一门专科性、复杂性、实践性都很强的学科,作为医学院校开设的必修课,其教学目标是让医学生熟悉掌握耳鼻咽喉头颈外科的基本理论、基础知识、基本技能操作。耳鼻咽喉头颈外科见习需要学生将基础知识与临床医学相结合,对常见病、多发病有初步认识。传统耳鼻咽喉头颈外科见习仍以教师按照授课内容讲解为主,学生被动接受,缺乏主动思考及积极动手操作,难以将教科书上的理论知识应用于临床,教学效果欠佳。小规模限制性在线课程(small private online courses,SPOC)联合翻转课堂是一种新型教学模式,将其应用于耳鼻咽喉头颈外科见习中,有利于发挥学生的主体作用,增强学生的积极性,从而提高学生的学习效率和教师的教学效率,为将来培养合格、优秀的耳鼻咽喉头颈外科医生奠定夯实的基础。

对分课堂教学模式在自动控制原理教学中的实践

分析了自动化控制科学与工程专业的传统教学模式中存在的若干问题。由于对分课堂具备了讲授式课堂和讨论式课堂的优点,把对分课堂教学模式应用于自动控制原理教学中,并从教学准备和教学过程2个方面刻画对分课堂教学模式在自动控制原理教学中的具体实施情况。教学实践表明,对分课堂教学模式在自动控制原理课程中的应用确实能够激发和提高学生自主学习的兴趣和能力,培养学生发现问题并解决问题的能力,建立团队协作意识,增强沟通表达能力,提升学生终身学习的能力。对分课堂教学模式在自动控制原理教学中效果良好,为本科院校和本校其他课程教学模式改革提供了新思路。

高职实践课程小班化教学模式的探索与实践——以“化学实验技术”课程为例

基于小班化教学优势,推行实践“化学实验技术”课程小班化教学改革。具体措施:小班分班,每班24人;按技能模块,重构教学内容;挖掘思政元素,融入教学内容;以学生为中心,开展线上线下混合式教学;构建多元化考核评价体系,教师严把考核关。线上平台使用率较往年提高了36%,实验室使用人次是往年的2.1倍,学生平均成绩较往年提高了13%。班级“1+X”技能证书考核通过率100%,校级以上的技能比赛获奖人数达52%。学生学习的主动性、学习成绩、职业素养明显提高,取得了良好的教学效果。形成了小班实践教学体系,为其他实践课程的教学提供参考。

在思政课教学中激发学生主体性作用,引导学生发挥主观能动性,深化学生参与课堂教学的深度和广度,是提升教学实效、增强学生获得感的内在要求。在高职院校思政课“中班教学、小班研讨”模式下,激发学生主体性作用要坚持教师主导性与学生主体性有机结合,从高职学生特点和教学实际出发,注重激发学生兴趣,通过创新教学方法、科学开展小班研讨、运用地方红色资源开展实践教学、强化理论与实践结合等路径,不断激发学生参与课堂教学的深度和广度,进而提升学生思想政治理论水平和综合能力素质。

大班环境下高职公共英语信息化教学实践研究

高职公共英语大班教学已是普遍,这对于语言类教学是个巨大挑战,教学效果多数堪忧。通过相关文献研究,发现谈问题和道理类的偏多,实证研究类偏少,针对高职学生的大班英语课的实证研究则更是凤毛麟角。本文聚焦大班环境下高职公共英语教学中的“痛点”。笔者设计“信息化教学方案”,实施“信息化教学方案”,调查“教学效果”。其研究结果具有较好的同行借鉴意义。

“数据结构与算法”小班教学方法探索实践

为提高“数据结构与算法”课程教学效果,针对课程大班授课存在的师生互动频率低、学生课堂学习主动性不高、课堂学习效果难以随时评估等问题,对小班授课教学方法进行了探索。通过安排本门课程与先修课程进行平稳衔接,采用多种教学手段相结合的方法,例如,动画演示数据操作过程、微课视频讲解重要知识点、示例程序现场运行演示计算结果,以及使用随堂测验方法检查学习效果等方法,改善了师生互动效果,增强了学生的学习主动性,学生考试成绩得到提高。
