The automobile industry has been searching for vehicles that use less energy and emit fewer pollutants, which has resulted in a high demand for fuel-efficient vehicles. Because of their higher strength-to-weight ratio compared to traditional steel, using fiber-reinforcement composite materials in automobile bodies has emerged as the most effective strategy for improving fuel efficiency while maintaining safety standards. This research paper examined the utilization of fiber-reinforced composite materials in car bodies to meet the increasing consumer demand for fuel-efficient and eco-friendly vehicles. It particularly focused on a carbon-aramid fiber-reinforced composite impact beam for passenger car side door impact protection. Despite the encouraging prospects of the carbon-aramid fiber-reinforced beam, the research uncovered substantial defects in the fabrication process, resulting in diminished load-bearing capacity and energy absorption. As a result, the beam was un-successful in three-point bending tests. This was accomplished by using an I cross-section design with varying thickness because of the higher area moment of inertia. Vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) manufacturing process was used and the finished beam underwent to three-point bending tests. 展开更多

Current practice in analysis and design of blast doors subjected to blast loading considers only simple boundary conditions and material properties. The boundary conditions and material properties, in fact, have considerable influence on the response of blast doors subjected to blast loading. In this paper, the dynamic responses of a reinforced concrete arched blast door under blast loading were analyzed by the finite element program ABAQUS, combined with a previously developed elasto-viscoplastic rate-sensitive material model. And the effect of the surrounding rock mass and contact effect of the doorframe were also taken into account in the simulation. It is demonstrated that the strain-rate effect has considerable influence on the response of reinforced concrete blast door subjected to blast loading and must be taken into account in the analysis. 展开更多

Cooling effect of convection-intensifying composite embankment with air doors on permafrost

One of the main construction problems in permafrost regions is protecting permafrost thermal stability. Although ventilating ducts and crushed-rock layers were successfully used in railway embankment construction, their effects might not meet large-width expressway requirements. The convection-intensifying composite embankment composed of perforated ventilation ducts and crushed-rock layers was numerically studied to investigate its cooling effects. Adopting a numerical model, the temperature fields for two kinds of composite embankment with and without air doors were analyzed considering air flow and heat transfer characteristics in porous media. The results show that wind velocity in the crushed-rock zone is intensified by the perforated ventilation duct. The underlying permafrost temperature obviously decreases, and the 0 °C isotherm position rises significantly due to composite embankment. The composite embankment with air doors is more effective than that without air doors. Therefore, the new convection-intensifying composite embankment is potentially a highly efficient cooling measure for construction in permafrost regions. 展开更多

目的:通过一例DOORS(耳聋-指甲发育不良-骨发育不良-神经发育迟缓-惊厥)综合征新生儿病例报道及文献复习,分析该病的临床特点及诊断。方法:报道复旦大学附属儿科医院收治的1例DOORS综合征病例,结合文献复习,分析DOORS综合征的临床特点... 目的:通过一例DOORS(耳聋-指甲发育不良-骨发育不良-神经发育迟缓-惊厥)综合征新生儿病例报道及文献复习,分析该病的临床特点及诊断。方法:报道复旦大学附属儿科医院收治的1例DOORS综合征病例,结合文献复习,分析DOORS综合征的临床特点、诊断等。结果:一例足月出生新生儿,因出生后反复惊厥入院,入院查体发现面容粗狂,指/趾甲发育不良,小指短,心前区杂音,肌张力低下。脑干诱发电位显示极重度听力损害,手足部影像学检查提示指/趾骨发育不良,头颅磁共振检查提示脑干及双侧基底节区异常信号,脑电图有多灶尖波,尖慢波发放,心脏彩超提示室间隔缺损,卵圆孔未闭。通过文献检索,自2000年以来,10篇病例报道发表,包括本例患儿在内,共报道13例患者。男性患者7例,女6例,除DOORS特征性表现外;脑部影像学检查异常,先天性心脏病等是常见合并症。结论:DOORS综合征发病率低,临床上一旦发现指/趾甲发育不良、惊厥的患儿,需进一步检查,警惕其他相关畸形,如耳聋、神经发育迟缓等,以便早期诊断,评估相关并发症,及时干预,改善预后。 展开更多

[目的]站台门系统与钢轨等电位连接方式下,当站台门系统的对地绝缘降低时,容易产生放电现象。为确保乘客的乘坐安全,应基于该方式,建立有效的站台门绝缘保障措施。[方法]从站台门电气绝缘机理和人体电气安全2个维度分析了站台门与钢轨等电位连接的优势。建立了轨电位计算模型,对常规工况、极端工况2种工况下站台门处轨电位进行了仿真。采用多参数单一变化法,分析了常规工况下各回流系统参数不同取值对站台门轨电位的影响,计算了极端工况下的站台门轨电位分布曲线。提出了站台门绝缘的测试方法及站台门绝缘维护的相关措施。[结果及结论]采用站台门系统与钢轨等电位连接方式时,轨电位的最大值不应超过60 V。极端工况下,站台门处轨电位有可能高于该阈值,此时乘客的人身安全可能会受到威胁,须采取有效措施,确保站台门的绝缘有效性。 展开更多
