Despite advancements in optical detection capabilities through imaging systems, including spectral, polarization, and infrared technologies, there is still a lack of effective real-time method for accurately detecting small-size and high-efficient camouflaged people in complex real-world scenes. Here, this study proposes a snapshot multispectral image-based camouflaged detection model, multispectral YOLO(MS-YOLO), which utilizes the SPD-Conv and Sim AM modules to effectively represent targets and suppress background interference by exploiting the spatial-spectral target information. Besides, the study constructs the first real-shot multispectral camouflaged people dataset(MSCPD), which encompasses diverse scenes, target scales, and attitudes. To minimize information redundancy, MS-YOLO selects an optimal subset of 12 bands with strong feature representation and minimal inter-band correlation as input. Through experiments on the MSCPD, MS-YOLO achieves a mean Average Precision of 94.31% and real-time detection at 65 frames per second, which confirms the effectiveness and efficiency of our method in detecting camouflaged people in various typical desert and forest scenes. Our approach offers valuable support to improve the perception capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles in detecting enemy forces and rescuing personnel in battlefield.展开更多

With an increasing urgent demand for fast recovery routing mechanisms in large-scale networks,minimizing network disruption caused by network failure has become critical.However,a large number of relevant studies have...With an increasing urgent demand for fast recovery routing mechanisms in large-scale networks,minimizing network disruption caused by network failure has become critical.However,a large number of relevant studies have shown that network failures occur on the Internet inevitably and frequently.The current routing protocols deployed on the Internet adopt the reconvergence mechanism to cope with network failures.During the reconvergence process,the packets may be lost because of inconsistent routing information,which reduces the network’s availability greatly and affects the Internet service provider’s(ISP’s)service quality and reputation seriously.Therefore,improving network availability has become an urgent problem.As such,the Internet Engineering Task Force suggests the use of downstream path criterion(DC)to address all single-link failure scenarios.However,existing methods for implementing DC schemes are time consuming,require a large amount of router CPU resources,and may deteriorate router capability.Thus,the computation overhead introduced by existing DC schemes is significant,especially in large-scale networks.Therefore,this study proposes an efficient intra-domain routing protection algorithm(ERPA)in large-scale networks.Theoretical analysis indicates that the time complexity of ERPA is less than that of constructing a shortest path tree.Experimental results show that ERPA can reduce the computation overhead significantly compared with the existing algorithms while offering the same network availability as DC.展开更多
Image-based 3D modeling is an effective method for reconstructing large-scale scenes,especially city-level scenarios.In the image-based modeling pipeline,obtaining a watertight mesh model from a noisy multi-view stere...Image-based 3D modeling is an effective method for reconstructing large-scale scenes,especially city-level scenarios.In the image-based modeling pipeline,obtaining a watertight mesh model from a noisy multi-view stereo point cloud is a key step toward ensuring model quality.However,some state-of-the-art methods rely on the global Delaunay-based optimization formed by all the points and cameras;thus,they encounter scaling problems when dealing with large scenes.To circumvent these limitations,this study proposes a scalable pointcloud meshing approach to aid the reconstruction of city-scale scenes with minimal time consumption and memory usage.Firstly,the entire scene is divided along the x and y axes into several overlapping chunks so that each chunk can satisfy the memory limit.Then,the Delaunay-based optimization is performed to extract meshes for each chunk in parallel.Finally,the local meshes are merged together by resolving local inconsistencies in the overlapping areas between the chunks.We test the proposed method on three city-scale scenes with hundreds of millions of points and thousands of images,and demonstrate its scalability,accuracy,and completeness,compared with the state-of-the-art methods.展开更多

In order to solve this problem,this paper presents a multi-exposure fusion method for getting high quality images in high dynamic range scene. First,a set of multi-exposure images is obtained by multiple exposures in a same scene and their brightness condition is analyzed. Then,multi-exposure images under the same scene are decomposed using dual-tree complex wavelet transform( DT-CWT),and their low and high frequency components are obtained. Weight maps according to the brightness condition are assigned to the low components for fusion. Maximizing the region Sum Modified-Laplacian( SML) is adopted for high-frequency components fusing. Finally,the fused image is acquired by subjecting the low and high frequency coefficients to inverse DT-CWT.Experimental results show that the proposed approach generates high quality results with uniform distributed brightness and rich details. The proposed method is efficient and robust in varies scenes.展开更多
