Dissimilar metal joining between NiTi shape memory alloy(SMA) and stainless steel was conducted.A cluster of NiTi SMA wires were first joined with tungsten inert gas(TIG) welding process,then the NiTi SMA TIG weld was welded to a stainless steel pipe with laser spot welding process.The microstructure of the welds was examined with an optical microscope and the elemental distribution in the welds was measured by electron probe microanalysis(EPMA).The results show that TiC compounds dispersively distribute in the NiTi SMA TIG weld.However,the amount of TiC compounds greatly decreases around the fusion boundary of the laser spot weld between the NiTi SMA and stainless steel.Mutual diffusion between NiTi shape memory alloy and stainless steel happen within a short distance near the fusion boundary,and intermetallic compounds such as Ni3Ti+(Fe,Ni)Ti appear around the fusion boundary. 展开更多

In order to improve the performance of the metal rollers, Mo+Y2O3 alloy powders were used to coat uniformly on the surface of 40Cr steel roller substrates for the laser surface alloying treatment by a CO2 laser, The results showed that many good consequences were ob- tained after adding the rare earth oxide Y2O3. The crystal grains of the alloy layer were significantly refined. The boundary of crystal grains was strengthened. The unifomaity and density of the microstructure were increased. The hardness and wearing resistance of the alloy layer were considerably improved. The valence electron structure analysis of the alloy layer was made by the empirical electron theory of solids and molecules (EET). The calculated results demonstrated that Y should be mixed in the first stage and Fe should be in the eighteenth hybrid bands. The analyzed outcomes illustrated that the electron theory of the solid solution shows the strengthening effect on the alloying layer, which has enhanced bond and confirrned the experimental results. 展开更多

目前,有关稀土氧化物粉末粒度大小及含量对激光陶瓷合金化层裂纹及耐磨性能影响的研究较少。以近纳米级Y2O3-WC-B4C粉末对60CrMnMo钢表面进行激光陶瓷合金化,以提高其耐磨性能。采用金相显微镜、扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪、显微硬度计、轮... 目前,有关稀土氧化物粉末粒度大小及含量对激光陶瓷合金化层裂纹及耐磨性能影响的研究较少。以近纳米级Y2O3-WC-B4C粉末对60CrMnMo钢表面进行激光陶瓷合金化,以提高其耐磨性能。采用金相显微镜、扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪、显微硬度计、轮式磨耗试验机分析、考察了Y2O3含量对合金化层的组织、物相、硬度及耐磨性能的影响。结果表明:Y2O3使合金化层表面更加平整、光滑,表面裂纹减少、变细;合金化层硬度随着Y2O3含量增加而降低;合金化层物相主要有Fe-Cr,Cr23C6,B2W,B13C2等;随Y2O3含量增加,树枝晶减少,合金化层组织更均匀致密,磨损量先减小后增大;Y2O3含量为4%时,合金化层组织最细、耐磨性最好。 展开更多

通过激光烧蚀电感耦合等离子体质谱(LA-ICP-MS)对标准样品表面进行四点定点分析,从而得到校准曲线,再利用得到的校准曲线对断口表面进行扫描分析,根据样品移动台的精确定位得到样品表面的位置信息,用激光器的聚焦位置来模拟样品表面的... 通过激光烧蚀电感耦合等离子体质谱(LA-ICP-MS)对标准样品表面进行四点定点分析,从而得到校准曲线,再利用得到的校准曲线对断口表面进行扫描分析,根据样品移动台的精确定位得到样品表面的位置信息,用激光器的聚焦位置来模拟样品表面的深度信息,描述了样品的表面形貌,从而得到样品表面元素原位统计分布分析状况,实现了对非平面表面元素的原位统计分布分析表征。利用本文的方法对一低合金钢冲击试样断口表面的16种元素进行原位统计分布分析,结果表明:断口表面各位置的元素含量统计分布基本符合正态分布,唯Al、Zr、Nb的统计偏析度较大。 展开更多
